Lighting Installation reviews in Garden City

    Idaho Service Electric
Kyle inspected my existing wiring and updated it where necessary. I was pleased that he explained clearly what work was needed for the house to be safe without adding unnecessary work. He updated outlets around the house and added three more. He also installed three light fixtures and installed light boxes for two more fixtures. I am very satisfied with his work and can recommend him.

    JSC Handyman Services Inc
It went great. The overall quality of the work was top notch & the craftsmen were courteous &professional. The shower area had some issues with the tile work & I called them out a couple times to review the situation with a quick fix, but after several months it was clear the underlying structure under the tile was causing the problem. Jonathon came back out warrantied the work and rebuilt the tile section over 3 days & we're super happy with the results. I would highly recommend JSC. We've used them extensively on several other projects around the house & have always been happy with the quality of their work. Sheetrock, baseboards, attic ladders, kitchen remodel, appliance installations, siding repair. You name it they've done it and they've been great to work with.

Andy arrived on time and got right to work. Completed the installation in less time than expected. Was very respectful with regards to protecting property, (i.e., carpets, walls, clean-up, etc.) Exceeded all expectations. A very nice and professional guy! I highly recommend Brite Electric.

    All Electric Inc
Mitch and Shane did a great job of installing our two chandeliers in a reasonable amount of time .  It was a bigger job than it might sound as one of the lights was installed in a 18 foot high entry hall so required renting a special ladder--which they handled.  The new lighting fixtures were somewhat intricate and took some time and know-how to assemble properly.  Not only did Mitch get this project scheduled within a few days of my initial call, he brought Shane to help so that the job could be done safely and efficiently.   Mitch also provided sound advice on placement of the lighting to best optimize design and minimize glare. He even offered to dust a high window sill and shutters while he was on the ladder!   I will call All Electric with all of my household electrical projects from now on.  They are trustworthy and knowledgeable.

    Brilliant Services LLC
Wonderful.  This was the only bathroom in our house and they made sure, everyday, that we could use the bathroom to shower.  They put up plastic and securely taped it so it wouldn't leak every single day.  They even made sure we had a working toilet the entire time they were working.  They took out the flooring, the tub, the window, the sink, the toilet.  They installed new electrical wiring and new lights in places where we didn't have lights before.  They put in a new toilet and sink.  They enlarged the window so it would meet code and patched in and painted the siding on the exterior so it would match (you can't even tell work was done there, it looks so good).  They installed a new tub and I chose a super complicated tile pattern for the walls - it looks perfect!  They also installed a new tile floor and did all the finishing touches.  Our bathroom looks so much better than the rest of our house now that I might have to do more remodeling!

They were superb. We were delighted with the work. They were quick to respond to any questions and they offered very wise suggestions with any modifications that were needed. They really wanted to please their customers and really went above and beyond. We were very pleased with the surface.

    CK Rogers Design Build Remodel
From the start CK Rogers was the best.  The response time for the
original walk through was withing the hour.  Once we completed the
process of design (we did our own) and determining details, they showed
up on time, performed the work expediently and cleaned up immediately.
Every person, from the sales agent, the project manager, laborers and
subs was top notch and very professional.  While a bit pricey (but that
is probably more due to not wanting to spend the money) it was worth
every penny.  I would highly recommend CK Rogers to anyone in the Boise
area looking for either a new build or a remodel.

He checked into why my hot tub wasn't getting electricity and found a reset switch that had tripped. He didn't try to sell me anything extra, even when I said that a previous electrician had tried to tell me the breaker needed to be replaced. He said it was far more likely the breaker was responding to a problem in the hot tub (since fixed) and that the breaker appeared to be fine.
He also moved two bathroom lights that needed to be repositioned after I replaced the sinks. He did this quickly and efficiently with no mess left behind. He warned me ahead of time that the movement might leave unpainted wall behind and reconfirmed with me that this would indeed be the case before he proceeded with the actual moves.
Overall Andy was very professional, prompt, and efficient.

Andy had given me an estimate of $200.00 a few days earlier.  He completed the work on 11/3 which involved cleaning up some old wiring and installing a recessed range outlet in the kitchen and installing new light fixtures in the kitchen and livingroom.  Andy kept me updated as to when he would be at the worksite etc.  He and his helper Alan were right on time and finished promptly.  In addition Andy gave me an estimate on other lower priority work which I plan to schedule later.  He gave me a senior's discount without me asking for it and the bill came to $170.25.  Coming in at lower than the estimate was a pleasant surprise.

We contracted Nova at the beginning of summer to replace our old, moldy bathroom vinyl floor, and picked them based on reviews here on Angie?s List. Peter did an amazing job installing a new vinyl floor with great molding, after ripping through a multitude of layers and subfloor. He even helped pick out and installed a great new toilet that had enough power, but didn't break the bank. Before the install, Peter went a step further and crawled under the house and found out our sewer drain needed to be fixed, and we?re very grateful for that discovery. We had that fixed before his work. We have animals and a young child, and Nova was very professional and considerate to everyone?s needs. The prices quoted were fair and accurate for what needed to be done. There was great communication and timeliness, so much so that we hired them later in the summer to install new soffit vent screens and new lighting in our kitchen. The amount listed above for price spent ($2,000) is a combined price for all three jobs. Both of the follow-up jobs were as good as the first. Peter takes pride in his work and it shows. The wood molding around the soffit vents looks great and blends right into the house, as does the wood grid covering the new kitchen ballasts. Talking with Peter, he has great knowledge of many types of housing projects, but isn?t afraid to say ?no? to something that might be outside his area of expertise. That may sound odd, but we?ve had contractors in the past say ?yes? to things outside their area of expertise, that they should have said ?no? to, and made it worse than it was to start with. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Nova for flooring, woodworking, and other general handyman type projects.
