Alltech Appliance Service and Repair LLC
Called for an appointment. No answer. Left a message and didn't get a call back until the next day. Scheduled service for the following day. The technician showed up on time and completed the job promptly with no issues. He was personable, clean and polite. Price was less than expected.

Great! Had to get replacement parts for oven. Dishwasher was fine after Jason punched a couple of buttons at no charge to us! Dryer old model and had loose belt. Easily tightened at minimal charge. Jason was punctual and did a great job explaining what needed to be replaced and why with the oven. Part for oven came in within a couple of days. By the end of the week, our oven was working again!

Owner Randy Bailey was punctual, clearly knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all of my questions, gave options and let me choose what would work best for me. He replaced the bushing and charged a very reasonable price. He was friendly and personable. I would definitely use him for future appliance repair.

Refrigerator quit working. Jason came out promptly and tried to fix it, but suspected we'd need a new compressor. He was correct. Jason pointed out the fridge was still under warranty so we called LG and he was able to order the part. LG took a long time to get the compressor to Alltech, but they were great about keeping us posted. As soon as that compressor came in, Jason installed it and fridge runs great. He saved us money by remembering the warranty. Great company! Total came to $700 for the two visits and repairs. Seems like a lot, but it would have been more if Jason didn't point out the warranty.

Brian from Western Heating arrived on time, first thing in the morning. In a very short time, he was able to pinpoint the problem. Our inducer motor had gone out. That motor is needed to turn the burners on. He discussed price and warranty with us. He was able to get the part quickly and had it installed in no time. We were happy and warm again. Brian is a warm and friendly guy, but also very professional; no hanging around to just shoot the breeze.

Ian was out twice, even called Frigidaire to tell them what was wrong with the oven. He came back again with a new computer board. Unfortunately , that did not correct the problem. He told us that Frigidaire was already aware of that problem.

Excellent. Repair person diagnosed the problem and provided clear and informative options for repair vs replacement. He also checked on dryer venting as a courtesy. He was polite and efficient. I tried to use the online appointment scheduling but it was not working that day so I gave a call. Scheduling the appointment via phone was easy and the scheduler was friendly, polite, and accomodating to my very restricted available times.

Called them with problem and they gave me an approximate cost. Also said they could be out same day between 3pm-6pm. Ian was here promptly at 3pm. He got right to work and fixed the problem in no time. He was polite, friendly and told me what other appliances they work on, including the fireplace insert. The cost was less than I expected and he told me if I had any problems to call him and he would come back at no cost. I would highly recommend this company and this employee. Great job!!

This is a 30 year old furnace.  I have been prepared to replace it since I moved into this house three years ago.  I have had Western out twice.  Once was simply that the gas was not turned on to the furnace (took a 3 ft long wrench to turn the valve) and this time the control board needed replaced.  Either time they could have told me I needed a new furnace and I would have said OK.  Eventually one of the trifecta of hot water heater, furnace, or air conditioner will fail and when that happens I will have Western replace all three.
PS - They told me it would be two days before they could get out, but were able to make it work the next day.  Underpromise and overdeliver.

From the very beginning I loved the experience; the fact that the call would be recorded for quality assurance (I worked in QA for years), and my phone call was handled beautifully. Wish I remembered her name. I could have received service that same day, but no one was home at my house so I scheduled service a day I was off.
Ian the tech called a half hour into the window and announced he was on the way. Perfect! He arrived within 30 mins. and diagnosed my ice maker problem within minutes.  It turned out that water leaking into the electronics module caused a short which stopped the cue to the water line.  I wan't surprised. I've personally disconnected the ice-maker to de-ice it when it dams up; (The feeler arm doesn't always work and ice dumps to the point where it backs up and jams) I've been able to catch it in time on my own until this time, apparently.
When the water wasn't filling after 12 hrs I knew I had a problem and was stumped. I was thinking that maybe the line was frozen but the fact that we still had a working water dispenser ruled that out.
So bottom line, we needed a replacement ice maker which I could have purchased for around $100.  I look at nearly $400 as giving me a lesson in "Ice Maker 101".  From my research (including on Angie's List) labor should have been $100-150 for this job. Knowing how many times I've personally disconnected my icemaker made me and hubby go "ouch" .That's why the "D" on price.
Ian was very personable, informative, loves dogs and my own took to him. :-)
