    It went GREAT. I asked first if the piece of furniture was as well made as I thought. He agreed that it was and he gave me several different options. In order to keep the lines of the furniture, he cut the legs. I was afraid that it would look silly, but it did not. He was able to alter the legs such that it looks like they came that way. Perfect!

    Arnie was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He checked in with us by phone to make sure that he was going to deliver what we wanted when he had a question about the fabric. He had told us that it would take a week to complete the job, and we were very pleased to get everything back in three days! Another highly rated shop was charging about the same rate for the job, but it was going to take 2 - 4 weeks. This is a small shop, so it is best to call ahead to make sure he is there, as he does leave the shop for lunch.

    Day 1: The initial visit went great. We went in and picked out our furniture in their store. They had a great selection. I picked up my Mattress that night with my truck but we had to order the furniture.

    11 days Later: Our furniture came in so I sent my wife in to pick it up from the warehouse. They loaded everything into my truck and they noticed that they broke the spoiler on my truck. They went and watched the video apologized and said that they would be contacting their claims office and they would be issuing a check for the damages they caused. they finished loading the truck and sent my wife on her way. When I got home I started assembling the frame for the bed and it turned out that a main support for the bed was broken. Couldn't talk to them that night because they were closed so I didn't have a bed to sleep on.

    Day 12: Called RC will and they were closed. Slept on the floor!

    Day 13: Called RC willy and told them what happened and they made me feel like this was a big issue for them. The sales person said he would call me back in an hour. 30 Minutes late I got a call stating that they were going to ship out a new bed. In the mean time if there was a way to get the bed to work while we were waiting for them to get the new one here. I propped it up on a crate while I waited for the new bed. They said it was going to take 2 weeks to get a new one. I was outraged because we got the last on in a week. Still no call from the claims department for my truck!


    Day 18: I got a call from the claims department stating that they were going to look into the accident and they would call me back in two-three days.

    Day 21: I call the Manager at RC Willy because I still haven't received a call from the claims department and Wondering if my bed was in yet. They told me that the claims department will call me the next day. my bed wasn't in yet!

    Day 23: I finally got a call back and they denied my claim saying it was my wife's fault even though they claimed that it was their fault. They said that my wife was driving and that she dropped the tailgate onto the dock even though it was out of the picture. The dock guys even to this day said it was their fault and they put the tailgate down. But it looks like they don't even trust Their Crew!

    Day 27: The new bed came in and the RC willy delivery crew came out to pick up the old bed and replace it with the new one. I had to take the day off of work to be there. took them 1 hour to assemble the bed frame. After they were done I noticed that the sliding door on the bed frame wasn't sliding right, they apologized and said they messed it up when putting it together. they also said someone would be out their in a week to fix it.

    Day 28: I went into RC WILLY and demanded to talk to a manager. I was pretty mad. They messed up my truck and now Im going to have to wait another week and take another day off of work for them to fix it. I told them if they couldn't fix the issue the next time then I would return everything.

    Day 34: The guy came out to fix the bed AGAIN! It didn't work, and they were going to have to order a part for the bed. I told him to stop and don't touch the bed because I would be returning the bed. he left. Called RC Willy and told them to pick it up.

    Day 41: They Picked up the bed and refunded my money, my truck is still broken and its going to be a couple hundred dollars to fix.

    Day 42: Went to Sleep number and ordered a bed. took a week to get the bed to my house. I slept on the floor for a week. I got the bed 5 days later and been sleeping on it ever since. best bed I ever ordered.


    I DONT RECOMEND RC WILL TO ANYONE! THEY ARE THE WORST!

MoreI just learned that hiring a piano technician is a much more professional endeavor than hiring strictly a tuner. I've never paid much attention to the quality of work tuners have done in the past on my various pianos over the years, but after Jordan Porter from Fine Tuning worked on my piano today, he has made me a believer in the virtues of a piano technician vs a tuner.



    Showing up promptly at the appointed time, Jordan provided an analysis of the state of my newly acquired used Yamaha P-22 and by showing me the pitch of several keys, advised that a standard tuning may not be enough, but rather a pitch raise should be done. Having purchased this piano from a piano rebuilder in Nampa, I wasn't entirely sure that the piano was in the greatest shape, so I wasn't completely surprised that a pitch raise would be necessary. I also knew this would raise the price from a standard tuning fee of $90 to $150, but I felt it would be best for the piano.



    Jordan was very meticulous over the full three hours he was working on the piano to get the pitch raise and tuning performed, and after finishing the job, the piano sounds fantastic. He also provides via email an inspection report that goes over all the areas he inspected, which highlights all the areas tested, which will be great documentation to track how this piano is performing in the future.



    I was lucky when choosing Fine Tuning, as I'm not from the area and wasn't sure who to trust with my piano, but I'm glad Jordan showed up and performed above my expectations.

    MODEL HOME FURNISHINGS
    more details above.  Now I have an $80 store credit, enough to buy a single chair, but they now refuse to sell me a single chair.  So I have to go back tomorrow and see what I can get for my $80.  They knew the night stand was defective; they should have just given me a refund.


    1/2/14 I went into the store again to see if I could find some decor pillows. No luck At that point, the manager offered to write me a check for my refund. So I accepted.

    It turned out pretty well. It was a hard to get them locally to have them come out to install the bed. They did take care of the installation and we are very satisfied with the product. They had a great selection of mattresses and frames.

    I was looking for double ovens, did not end up buying from them, but the gentleman that took care of me was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Just the right amount of answering questions and giving me space. I would definitely go back, but I found the same oven a little cheaper elsewhere

    I wanted to hire him. My husband wanted to try another that was recommended by Pottery Barn who lives in a nearby town. Next time we'll go with Arnie. Too inconvenient to travel 20 miles with the way our fabric was shipped to us (not all at the same time). Have to drive over again today (3rd time).

    The technician diagnosed the problem correctly on the first trip and came back with the part and installed it on the second trip. Total cost was $160 and the ice maker is still working well.
    We are in real estate and we have referred Garrity Appliance to some of our clients in need of appliances or appliance repair. We are quite selective on who we refer to our clients. Garrity Appliance has done a great job for everyone we have sent to them.
