Don't walk, RUN from this guy. Jerry told me on the phone hed done several patios in my neighborhood and since he had just turned down a job he had an opening for the next two weeks. He made an appointment to review the job. He stood me up. Sorry, got busy. He made another appointment. Never heard from him until the next day. Sorry, had to do something Over the course of the next 4 weeks, had did this MANY times. I told him I needed the job done in the next two weeks because I had another project that had to wait on the patio,. No problem. He surveyed the yard and told me he could easily do it under $5,000. I asked him for a quote and a timeline. Never got either. He kept putting me off with one excuse after another. My next project contractor was being held up by now. And after 4 weeks, Jerry leaves me a VM that he will decline the job because the access to my back yard was inadequate. He had seen that access many times and had previously told me it was fine. He is a liar. Now he is blaming me for not taking the job. I would have gone to another contractor early on but did not have any other choices and he kept telling me he was honest and had integrity and I could trust him. He strung me along for 4 weeks and then bailed. He is not a professional and I doubt he has ever done a patio. He really bailed because after 4 weeks he finally did the math and realized it was way over $5,000. He at least got almost $500 from me for mowing my postage stamp lawn, fertilizing and trimming two trees. And he told me he was not charging me full price. What a bargain.

Terrible. Should have taken 2-3 weeks, took 2 years. Horrible communication, no shows on many occasions with no call. Rude, unknowledgeable about some of the work, damaged siding on house and garage, poured concrete with no rebar as specified in contract so he had to rip it out and re-do it. Kept bad mouthing concrete materials in Idaho and how small our job was compared to the "big work" he is used to doing. Kept saying he had 30 years of experience but it didn't show. His wife only caused more confusion and made statements of work that would be done then denied it because it wasn't itemized. They finally made everything right but it took forever and he couldn't leave without making more snide remarks about how he should have charged us more. We paid everything on time as requested. We took pictures before, during and after - which we were prepared to use in court if he didn't fix all the mistakes and damages. We will contract out the remaining work they said they would do to someone reliable and experienced. I do not recommend calling them - they will tell you what you want to hear but then you will only get problems and excuses. 10,000.00 and 2 years later......UGH!

    Rorabeck Concrete
The bid was for $2200. That included creating the forms for the new sidewalk, pouring that sidewalk, pouring the concrete for the hot tub pad, and clean up. My dad and I had the forms set for the hot tub all ready before they started their portion. Monday, day one they never showed up. Day two the got there pretty late in the morning. It wasn't the owner it was a cousin or something. I wrote the cousin a check for half on day two, $1100. Once they did finally get started they didn't have all the tools needed to complete the days work. They borrowed our wheelbarrow. They didn't have to take the dirt they removed off site. We let them dump it in an old pond. The following days went very similar. Showed up 11-12. Worked a few hours and then left. Meanwhile, we had our hot tub scheduled to be moved on Friday. They assured me during the bid they would be pouring concrete on Wed and the hot tub pad would be ready by Friday, no problem. That didn't happen. They didn't pour until Thursday afternoon. I had to reschedule the hot tub move. The clean was non existent. They grumbled about the rocks I wanted out of my yard and I made them clean my neighbors yard. They swept all the extra gravel off my driveway and into my yard. Overall, the sidewalk looks pretty good. I hope it withstands the elements as I am certain they don't warranty their work. Meanwhile, Mr. Rorabeck hasn't been on the job site more than 1 hour this whole time. But apparently was there long enough to break a part of the fence. He came by on Saturday to repair this part of the fence and to get the rest of the money. He fixes the fence and then takes my husband ( who has been out of town the whole week and doesn't really know what's going on) out of ear shot. He asks for $1250. That's $150 more than the original quote. He said the extra was for the hot tub pad and wheelbarrowing. My husband, not knowing any better wrote him a check. Of course, I was super mad. $150 is not a crazy amount of money but the issues we had with them and then to secretly ask for more money. I was fuming. I exchanged several text messages with Mr. Rorabeck to no avail. I told him my mistake was not getting his quote and everything included with in writing. He made additional snarky remarks and I quit responding. I told him I would tell anyone that would listen about the shoddy company he has his name on.

Initial work was good. However, after 18 months stains and other discoloration was noted. It took over 12 months to get the it refinished. They billed me extra for refinishing saying they do not warranty their work. Much misinformation between owner and his workmen who inspected the job. In hindsight had I known the work would only last 18 months I would never have gone forward with it. Much too expensive.

    Precision Door Service
Our garage door wouldn't open and we were stuck in the garage! We could open it manually with a lot of effort but that solution wouldn't have worked for very long. It was a Saturday morning and I wasn't sure if I could get someone out that day and even if I could, I was afraid there would be an extra fee. I checked Angies List, liked what I read, and gave them a call. I was able to get a technician out within a few hours and not only were they waiving the service fee that day but they honored my Angie's List coupon and gave me 15% off. My technician was Kris Anderson and he was wonderful. Very patient, explained all my options, and was able to complete the work right then. This company may not be the cheapest but I can tell you the quality of the materials and work, along with the warranty and top notch service I received was well worth the extra money to me.

I called Jerry to inquire into residential snow removal and he was able to come out later that same day to assess the property, and then clear the driveway the next day. He was extremely responsive, professional, and friendly, and he did a great job clearing the snow from our long gravel driveway. We will be using him again.

    Overhead Door Company Spokane-Coeur d'Alene
From the customer service that Gina gave to the day of work this company was AWESOME to work with. Technician replaced neighbors spring as well and was early for our service. He was in/out in 30 minutes and we having working springs now! He said our new spring should last a good 10-12 years (not less than 2 like the Wayne Dalton did)!
    Thanks for the great service!

    Complete Garage Door Service
They came to access what exactly was the problem.  They were professional and explained the problem and what was needed very well. They removed and replaced the wheels since they were worn out plastic.  When they opened the door with all the new parts and motor it was so quiet and really smooth.
They did a really good job and they cleaned up after themselves.  I thought they were great.

Strange. When I called Senske, the gentleman was very nice and very helpful. He set up the pest control appointment ASAP, with a 25% discount which I mentioned I had seen on their Web site (although he told me it didn't apply to one-time service but it doesn't say that on their Web site...). I asked about lawn care and he scheduled for someone to come out and look and give an cost. All good.  The pest control guy came out for the $89 service and said we had carpenter ants (which we did) and that service was $225, but he gave me the 25% discount on that, and indeed the treatment was very effective right away, so I was happy with that. Then the guy came to estimate the lawn care and informed me that they really only do lawn care and snow removal for commercial businesses and not residential. Ok, but nowhere in their advertising does it say that - not on this site or on their web site, so I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

Because I have a little dog I needed to put the fence and gates low to the ground and he did not do that at all. He tried to put up the wrong kind of boards and the fences were done incorrectly. He did not show up at the correct time to finish the job. He also was charging my neighbors a lot to do a similar fencing project. He did not finish the job and kind of left it half-as*ed. He was rude.
