Company tech did call almost a week late. I knew it probably was a very busy time for company. Tech arrived right away and completed tuneup and installed a thermostat, within time frame promised. Was very pleased and will use this company again. Randy did a great job.

I guess you could say this is an update to my furnace install of last Oct. I should have had AC installed at the same time, but was not sure I would need it. However, I did, so I called and scheduled an installation.
Again, like last October, very professional, and did a great job. In my case it was a hard install due to having to remove the furnace to install the coils and then custom design the intake vents to accommodate the humidifier.  But they did the job, and all is well.
I wanted an A/C unit with the same manufacture as the furnace; Trane. Price was great; especially when compared to my neighbor who had the same size A/C condenser installed in his basically identical house and was charged $900 more and it was a brand that does not even come close to the quality in a Trane (per Consumers Reports and other online reviews).

    Vogts Heating and Air

My husband called the manager and asked him why he was more than doubling the price of his parts when he should be getting a discount from Lenox.  The manager denied he had raised the price and said that was his wholesale cost.  My husband told him he could buy the part from anywhere online (including Lenox) for $125.  The manager said that is impossible and his parts had a one year warranty. Big deal!  The ones we could buy online also had a one year warranty.  The bottom line is the manager would not back down about the price gouging and we are stuck paying twice as much as we should have to!

If you want to call Vogts for furnace repair, be prepared to get your furnace fixed but pay double what you would have to pay anyone else!  We will never call them again and will tell everyone we know not to use them!

I wasn't paying much attention - actually I was asleep while the job was being done. It looked good to me when I saw it, and since I know nada about furnaces, I have no idea about the quality. The furnace works so far. Mobile home furnaces are more expensive than regular home furnaces of the same power, and I don't know why, but I called around and compared prices enough to know that this company was about the same or better, as any other place I called.

Went great. Started on Thurs, finished Fri AM. It was a difficult installation due to the location of the old furnace and water heater. A lot of venting to install and a bypass vent for the humidifier. The furnace required a new exhaust vent and a new intake vent (both ABS...I believe) through the roof, and the water heater was vented over to the old furnace's vent (old water heater was electric, new was gas).
Every person I have had contact with in this company was great. From the person who gave me the bid, to the owner who actually came out and worked to the rest of the crew to get the job done and done correctly.
And I'll say there is a NOTABLE difference between the old furnace and this new Trane.

    Big Bear Mechanical

I called for a bid, they showed up on time, which is unusual for this type of contractor.  I got other bids from other contractors but it took more than one call to get them.  His bid was not the highest or the lowest, was right in the middle, but I felt that he would get it done on time and on budget, and if I had any problems he would be there to fix it.  I was impressed by their professionalism, their cleanliness.  It was a pleasure to let them in my home.  They did the job well, at bid price and I was very happy.  I would call them again, no question.

Two days before the new water heater was installed, the service tech came out and did the repairs to stop the leaks. Totally knew what he was doing because he is experienced in both water heater, heating and air conditioning.
When he installed the new water heater, he had all the tools necessary, even the hose to drain the old heater.
Expertly installed, cleaned up all debris. Looked like he had never been here.

Right Now Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing
Kelly has done work on my heater before. He knew that there was a problem earlier, but he forgotten about it. When it came time to replace it, he said it was free. I've been very impressed with the work they've done. They are not cheap.

    Economy Heating & Refrigeration
Woke up this morning to the furnace not kicking on. It was calling for heat, but putting out none. We had bought the furnace system through Economy heating approximately 15 years ago because we knew they would be in business for the long run. We called Economy and reported the problem this morning and were told that a repairman would be out this afternoon. An hour later, we got a call saying he was on the way. When he arrived, he checked what could be the easiest repair, and found that that was not the problem, so he went further and found that the igniter was cracked. He had the needed part with him and replaced it right then. The whole visit lasted 1 1/2 hours. Couldn't be happier!
