    Ron's Hot Rod and Customs
He did a paint job on a custom 32 ford long lift, all the mechanical and beautiful flame job. Ron was great, turn key and done on time.

    Toby's Body And Fender Inc
They did the repair promptly, high quality work, they dealt with the insurance company. I have no desire to have another collision, but would use them again immediately.

    Toby's Body And Fender Inc
I have to say thank you for their hard work. My car looks like a new car. I was worried about my brake since I had a car accident. They were very nice to drive my car to another place for checking and adjusting. Also, they cleaned inside of my car. How sweet they are. I would like to introduce Toby's Body and Fender to my friends.

    Toby's Body And Fender Inc
Very polite staff.  Good work.  Took the amount of time and cost the amount of money they said it would.

Went by for an estimate.  There was no waiting.  The person inspecting the damage was very knowledgeable and professional.  The estimated cost was reasonable.  They had the pickup for five days during which they replaced the fender and door, straightened the door column, and painted all.  When I picked it up on Friday I could not tell it had ever been in a wreck.  The paint job (red) was a perfect match.  My wife's car has some fender dings and we plan on have it repaired by them in the future.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Spokane
I have no opinion if the estimate was fair, but there was no way that I was going to spend that kind of money for a small scrape on an eight year old car.  I took my car to Downtown Toyota in hopes of getting some matching touch-up paint as I had done once before.  While they didn't have it anymore, the Toyota rep kindly gave me a code number for the paint and referred me to Professional Finishes on East Sprague.  For $13.00, Professional Finishes prepared a two-ounce bottle of paint (with brush) that exactly matched my car's color.  It's nowhere near a professional  repair, but the car looks much better for a fraction of what Maaco was going to charge.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Spokane
I stopped by and got an estimate several months before for the work.  Mike inspected the job, told me they'd cut out and weld in a new piece of metal to stop the rust.  He warned that they probably couldn't do a perfect job of color-matching, but it would be much better than the rust (it had rusted through). I dropped the car off, with a promise it would be ready the following week.  We called the next week, and he said the work was done.  We arrived to find our car ready to go.  Work looked very good--the new piece followed the exact contours of the door, and is indistinguishable from the other side of the car.  Color-matching looks perfect. They provide a good warranty as well, and the original bid was met exactly. The premises aren't in the cleanest shape, but it isn't a sleazy joint either.  Just much more geared around actual body work than customer comforts.  If you're looking for the big "customer experience"--with super fancy waiting room, food, full wash and clean of car before it's returned, etc., then this probably isn't for you.  But did they do what I was looking for, which was a good job on the replacement of the rusted piece and a good solid paint job?  Yes.  You can not tell it's ever been worked on, either by sight or touch. Bottom line--good solid body work at a fair price.  It wasn't a steal of a price, but good body work isn't cheap, and most body shops won't even touch cars of this age. UPDATE:  Less than 22 months after the job, the rust has bubbled up again, and doesn't look that great.  When I went back, I was told I had a warranty on the paint, not rust.  I had understood that the rust would return, but thought I understood I should expect several years of a clean paint job, not 18 months or so.  Also, what's a warranty on the paint mean if the rust comes back?  They were courteous, and the new owner did call back and offer to work with me and discount a further repair.  I would stand by my earlier review, with the only change being disappointment at it appearing that what I was led to understand at the outset was rosier than reality.  Could I have misunderstood?  Maybe, though I'm conversant in automotive areas, comfortably working in most any automotive field, so I don't think so.  I would just be clearer next time on what to expect, and compare it to the written warranty received, or ask for a more detailed copy.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Spokane
First of all, I had the service performed in 2010 and finally got around to writing this review. I want to warn people to beware! The Manager did a walk around and we discussed the damage. He seemed to indicate his shop and he had plenty of experience with the repairs I needed. He even showed me a Notebook full of completed jobs and comments from happy customers. I got the special sale painting package and all the body work cost was added on. He said he could source the parts with no problem. Then, I got a phone call, and he said he couldn't find any of the parts. So, that job was left up to me. He said he would stay in constant contact until the job was finished in about a week. I never heard from him. I had to call him and there was always a hold up of some sort. Job finally took 6 weeks ... all the while I am in a Rental Car, which cost me around $1,000 and I did not include in the price MAACO charged me. He kept telling me the painter was not on the job .... was sick .......... quit, and he had to find a new one. It's hard to find good people he told me. Finally, he called and said the job was done. he pointed to my car in front of the store. It was in a shambles. The mud flaps were hanging by one screw from each fender. The interior was full of powder and dirt and grime ..... a large pile of body dust was on the front passenger seat. The paint job was horrible. The dented the center of my new hood and the headlight was not replaced as bid. In one place, it looked like they covered a body blemish with duct tape and painted over it. I confronted him with the bad news .... and he seemed overwhelmed with the situation. I said get the headlight, I'll pay you this reduced amount, and I am out of here never to return. He agreed with some hesitancy, and I left. The paint job is so bad that when I rub it with a wet towel the paint color readily comes off. BEWARE! Do not use this service under any circumstances! This review applies to this location, but I would be hesitant to use them at any location at any price. I've seen ads on TV where it says Customer Satisfaction is sky high. I just laugh because I know it cannot be true. Again, DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE BECAUSE OF CHEAP PRICE! If I can save you from the nightmare I went through, then I have done my job.
