Excellent . Steve and Susan went above and beyond their duties . I was away on business and my horse needed vet care. Steve transported my horse free of charge to get the care she needed . I was informed directly by Steve every step of the way !

    Emerald Street Kennels
We always use them. We go every Friday. It’s a doggy daycare. They have open kennels. They do bathing and nails and grooming. We have two dogs. They are always great. They do incident reports if anything happens that they observe. They’re very good.

    Calico Cattery
I needed to board my cat for several days and checked out a couple of cat boarding facilities. I really liked what I saw at Calico Cattery and went back several times to make sure I wanted to board my cat there. They were very nice each time and I did board her there. Received texts with pictures of her and updates on how she was doing. Very please and would definitely recommend this place. Will use it in the future to board my cat.

The Cat Doctor Veterinary Hospital & Hotel
We have boarded our kitty here a couple of times a year usually for a week at a time, for the past several years. He really seems to enjoy his stays in his multi-level condo. The boarding rooms are set up with the condos around the outside of the room. Each condo has a window so your cat can enjoy watching the world go by outside. In the center of the room is a couch and a play area in which they allow the cats out to explore or relax one at a time. Everyone at this facility is very friendly and professional and clearly understand and love cats. Our cat is used to dogs, but it is nice to know he won't have to be nervous about hearing strange dogs barking nearby since this facility is for cats only. This is about as close to a home environment as you can get without actually leaving your cat at home and with the professional supervision, it's even better.

    Camp Bow Wow
Our dog oves Camp Bow Wow and can hardly wait to get inside when we pull up to the building. I always feel he is in good hands and will stay safe while we are away. When we view the web-cam we frequently see staff members walking through the play area, checking on the dogs and giving them attention. We have had a couple of occasions where our dog had to have medication administered and there was no extra charge.

The Cat Doctor Veterinary Hospital & Hotel
Excellent care. All the veterinarians are super. They can diagnose a cat and give us an estimate. We border our cats there and I think they are awesome. They always follow up after treatment of our cats. They call us by our first name and offer senior discounts.

    JAN'S BED AND BARKERY
We left our Lab and our Scottie with Jan for ten days while we flew back East for a family visit. When we returned our dogs were happy, healthy, and tired from playing with other pooches on their vacation.

    Intermountain Pet Hospital
"It", the surgeries, recovery and healing for both dogs went very well, Dr. Brett Bingham was wonderful as always, he and the staff were professional, nonjudgmental, and saved both dogs from a situation that could have easily gotten much worse had one or both gone into shock, which could have occurred given the amount of time both were in full fight drive before I was able to separate them. Their hearts and body systems were in survival overdrive causing their hearts to pump blood more quickly to vital systems, which also meant that blood was being pumped from their wounds very fast. At this time I was extremely appreciated of their professionalism, in so many ways. Mostly for saving both dogs, and down that list I was grateful that they were not judgmental. I was already beating myself up for being so stupid. While I was cleaning the indoor kennel area I did not lock a door which allowed one dog to go into the house. I had assumed this dog had gone to the outside dog play yard, while the other was still in the house inside a wire kennel. Which was what I'd always done in the past. This was a very painful, frightening and expensive lesson, in more ways than the cost. Never assume, always double check. Years have past and both dogs are thriving...is VERY separate areas. ******* The ONLY reason I have changed vets is this: Intermountain Pet Hospital is so high-tech, having better equipment than most small US hospital emergency rooms, I could no longer afford that level of care, my bill for a standard visit (non emergent) was usually more than $100.00,pls note: I had four dogs a the time I went to this pet hospital. This is an incredible facility. DR. BRETT BINGHAM is not only top-notch in his care of your beloved pet(s) he also cares about the owner(s), keeps you informed. 5 stars! .

    Idaho Veterinary Hospital
The vet techs and the vet, Dr Cavender, were clearly happy to see us and our parrot.  They inquired about her recovery from some problems she had over the holidays and made observations on her improvement.  In order to "towel" her they briefly turned off the lights to darken the room to make it less traumatic for the bird.  With my bird, being toweled is not a problem.  But for many birds it is so this courtesy for the stress of the animal really impressed me.  They were very conscientious about making sure my bird's grooming was to my satisfaction.  I was right there in the room with them..  They wanted to know how I specifically wanted her wings trimmed and showed me as they were going along.  When they trimmed her nails they had me take her on my hand to make sure the nails were done to my satisfaction.   I have had multiple experiences with Idaho Veterinary Hospital now, including boarding,  and have been very satisfied every time.

    DOWNTOWN HOUND
While moving into town, I needed a place for my dog to stay during the day. I contacted two doggy daycares in the area. One of the local petstores recommended Downtown Hound and knew someone who took their dog to this facility. I spoke with the owner before taking my dog in for his first visit. There was a profile to complete plus I explained his past training and the situation about the move so they could be more understanding. There is one web-camera in the main room and several family members enjoyed watching the dog during his visit. It also gave me comfort seeing how the dogs were handled. If someone got too rambunctious, they would simply hold them for a few minutes. They use a positive reinforcement method. Later in the day, they often times separated the group and gave the quieter dogs their own space. The staff seemed to quickly clean up any accidents made inside. The company didn't seem to be out to make the most money possible by cramming in too many dogs. There is a limit they will take in a particular day. There seemed to be adequate staff and the dogs were never left alone. There is also overnight boarding and a pool but I have not used those services yet.
