    We talked and she said to text her my address and she would be by later that afternoon/evening around 3:30pm or 4pm She never showed up. She didn't even call to say she couldn't make it or to reschedule.

    It went very poorly. Trina complained that my husband was at the home during their cleaning. She said her people could not work with him telling them what he wanted cleaned. She called us at our old house where my daughter answered and she began yelling at her! She had to try interrupting her several times before it got through to Trina that she was speaking (yelling) to the wrong person. She was extremely unhappy about everything regarding cleaning our house. She ended up charging us more than the estimated fees and blamed it all on us. I would never recommend her to anyone.

    A la Carte has always done an excellent job! They are quick to respond, competitive on cost, and I've always been pleased with the work. The owner is always willing to offer suggestions that will make the project less expensive or better than I envisioned. A la Carte is my go to company when I have a problem with my own home or when a renter calls to report a problem. As a landlord, it is SO nice to have a go to company that can handle anything and everything I throw at them. There have been times when we have been out of town and a renter has called with a problem and I've been able to pass it off to A la Carte with complete confidence that it will be fixed. If they can't do it, they will be able to refer you to someone who can that is also honest and reliable. I've recommended them to many friends and family (my parents live 3 hours away and hired them to come remodel a bathroom because they were that much better than the options they had available locally!)

    All Around the House Home Cleaners
    I spoke with Nicole Nov. 2014 and set up an appt. for her and Raquel to come to the house to give me an estimate. They rescheduled once, which was fine. The estimate was reasonable and we set up an appt. to start service. Unfortunately, my husband required surgery which did not go well so I had to cancel the scheduled cleaning and told Nicole that as soon as my hubby got better I'd call to schedule again. I did this the middle of January and was told by Nicole that she had Jan. 30th or Feb. 6th available. I told her Jan. 30th would work for me. The next day I  received a text stating that she had talked to Raquel and there was a scheduling conflict and they couldn't come to clean Jan. 30th or Feb. 6th. The text stated that she'd call me that afternoon to discuss options - never called. I waited a couple of days and texted her - her response was that she'd call me later that day - never called. Again, I waited a few more days and called. Nicole answered the phone. She said she'd been busy and had not had a chance to call me. I was ok with this; it happens. However, when I tried to schedule an appt. she kept making excuses as to why she could not commit to a date . BUT she'd call me for sure that evening and, worst case scenario, she'd refer me to another cleaning service. I got off the phone and realized for whatever reason they did not want to clean my house. The fact, that AGAIN, she never called me to discuss anything that night pretty much confirmed for me that I was correct. My husband and I were in business for years and I cannot fathom not returning a call and leaving a potential client hanging especially after numerous promises to return my call.  When I spoke with Nicole to schedule the Jan. 30th appt. she was thrilled to hear from me and couldn't wait to get started. What happened between that conversation and when she talked to Raquel I have no idea, but things sure changed. Based upon this experience I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Lucy's Spotless Cleaning
    There was always something that was left undone and I'd have to call and  register my concerns. A trainee was a part of the team on every house cleaning. I have no issues with training someone on the job as long as the supervisor goes behind and checks the work-this was not done. The first schedule services was a disaster. The crew walked out leaving and entire bank of wood blinds dirty. I called the owner and she came out to the house. She could see that the work was not performed and asked for another chance. I let them come back for the next 5 months, giving the crew every opportunity to do it right and without fail something was left undone each time - baseboards not cleaned, mirrors, light fixtures, furniture not cleaned. The next to the las time the huge picture behind the couch was left undusted and it was obvious. When I called the supervisor I was told that it wasn't cleaned because my husband was sitting on the couch. I told her that all she had to do was to ask him to move and he would have gladly complies. Under the beds and furniture was NEVER vacuumed. The other issue was that I was told that the same crew out come to the house EVERY time and that didn't happen. When I first looked them up on Angie's list they had an a rating and now they have a B and now I know why. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have found another service that is outstanding. I wish I could name them, but I don't feel that would be the right thing to do.

    I particularly appreciated the following:
    they do everything, so I didn't have to look for a series of people to fix a laundry list of items
    they fixed the stuff I asked them to fix, then they went through and around the house with me looking for other problems, little stuff was fixed on the spot, bigger stuff they reviewed options and prices
    they came with tablet computers, so when they found problems on the roof or in the attic they showed me pictures so I didn't have to either take their word for it or climb a ladder or crawl in yucky places to see it myself
    they were prompt in scheduling the work and getting it done
    they were pleasant, professional, and helpful
    their charges were reasonable
    they gave me a magnetic business card that is now on my fridge for when I need more stuff done in the future.

    Nikki's Cleaning SErvice
    First off, I loved that Nikki was also located in Caldwell so I knew the added cost of traveling to Canyon County would not come into play.  Her price of $15 an hour was more than reasonable and after talking with one of her references that she had cleaned for him for over 10 years with no problems and no change in service as time went on (what I was seeing with my previous provider), I decided to set up bi-weekly cleanings.  Nikki came to my house for a walk thru and the only reason I gave her a "B" on professionalism, is that she seems rather aloof in person, but is great to correspond with via text or email (probably because she is used to working alone).  The morning of the cleaning, I left NIkki a note with a few items to omit because I had just put up Christmas items and cleaned those areas and designated other areas that needed a little more attention.  I returned home and was VERY pleased with the results.  My husband was also impressed with what she had done.  Our previous housekeeper would not move chairs to vacuum under, nor would she do baseboards.  I had not mentioned this to Nikki, but baseboards were cleaned and chairs had been vacuumed under.  She changed out the tinfoil in our toaster oven and under our stove burners and I could tell our kitchen counter items had been moved and wiped under.  Bathrooms were cleaned and sanitized and all areas that I had requested had been dusted and vacuumed and/or mopped.  She did go a little over the time we had decided on (4 hours) and given the amount of work that needs to be done in our large house, we have agreed on an additional hour so that she can start cleaning the blinds throughout our home as well.  I was so impressed that I asked if she also provided services for businesses.  She said she did, so I have had her come to our business for a quote and have her lined up to start on December 17th for weekly service to our shop (I will post a follow up once she has started our shop's cleanings).

    at first she was on time and efficient but ays time went on she got lax with the cleaning and would call at the last minute and

    would want to come on a different day, I finally told her I couldn't use her anymore.

    She goes the extra mile. I never have to ask her to do something twice. She is very caring. Everything in my home is always clean when she leaves, things just sparkle. She does not need to be asked to complete things she usually wouldn't clean she see's something needs done she does it and never charges more.

    I felt like I was being scammed. The guy was a pretty fast talker. He came in and we had some water damage in our basement. We weren't sure what was going on yet but we had wet carpet and wet walls in one of the rooms. The wet carpet needed to come out. He went down to look and said, oh I just happen to be a certified person for mold and restoration. I have since looked him up and have found no record of his company or credentials. I had asked him for a written estimate several times and he has yet to get us one.  That night I asked if you could just get the carpet out what would he charge. He called a couple of guys and they pulled the carpet out and left it in the backyard. They left some big industrial fans down there.
