    Hoff Design Build
A+ was very happy and could not more highly recommend his services. I attached a couple picts of Eric doing the master bathroom -- you can see the custom bathroom counter, concrete wall that the Sink is attached to, and Eric doing the flooring in the master bath shower with black pebbles and of course Eric himself..... take a look at his website to see the completer job!

    JK Construction LLC
I cannot say enough to show my gratitude for Josh and his crew. From the very beginning, the communication was concise and timely, the price was right, and the jobs were finished on time without any incident or additional costs. What more can you ask for from a contractor?!? Josh was amazing and able to do any job we asked of him, so we'll definitely be calling JK Construction first for any future remodeling needs.

    Griffin Drywall
This was the worst experience I have ever had working with a contractor. Paul the owner quoted the job however used a very cheap outfit from Caldwell to do the majority of the finishing work. After it was all said and done I had to spend over 2000 dollars out of my own pocket plus 800 dollars that Paul refunded me to have another drywall installer come in and fix the issues listed below. Tape lines showing in the ceiling (Caused by not putting enough layers of mud and not enough dry time) Did not match/blend texture very well with existing walls Made the openings around the light switches and wall outlets way too big so that the covers did not cover up the gaps. Mixed mud on my brand new hardwood floor leaving watermark stains and leaked through the floor and ruined the ceiling drywall on the lower floor Used a remodel tool to cut out the drywall around the outlets and light switches in doing so damaged the cosmetic plastic causing me to have to replace almost every single outlet and wall switch in those rooms. The cutouts in the drywall aground the ceiling can lights were so big that the covers did not cover up the gaps. I have used Paul a few times and have consistently had these same issues. It wasn't until I had used another drywall guy did I realize what good drywall work actually looks like.

    Griffin Drywall
Griffin Drywall added a couple small pieces of missing Sheetrock, fixed a couple of holes. Then he taped the entire room, tied in the already textured ceiling. He had to match the texture of the ceiling to tie it into the corners. He then also textured all the walls to match another room that was already done. Paul did a great job. Was very easy and profession to work with. Made sure to keep everything clean. Took really good care not to make any mess in the rest of the house when coming and going into the room. Would definitely use him again for any texturing I will need done.

    Woodwright Custom Builders
Replaced all exterior windows - fabulous job completed quickly and efficiently while also minimizing costs / repairs to the exterior of the home.  The scope included several large bay / arched windows on the second story of the house.  Repaired shoddy craftsmanship from the original build that had resulted in water intrusion into the walls of the home.  The arched / bay windows on the top floor actually caused water damage all the way to the basement windows.  Our initial fear following the home inspection, was this would be a tremendous cost to repair, however, much to our surprise, Brent was able to complete the window replacements, wall repairs (including new wallboard / insulation) for an extremely reasonable cost.

Installed ceiling fans in all bedrooms: home did not have any ceiling fans in bedrooms (except master).  Brent installed reinforced boxes and then oversaw an electrical subcontractor to complete the installation of ceiling fans throughout the house.

Rebuild of mantel over fireplace: Brent completed a redesign of the main floor fireplace which included the installation of power outlets, cable and TV wall mount over the top of the existing mantel.  Turned out beautifully with all cables hidden behind TV.

The largest project we had Brent undertake was the complete remodel of the basement.  This scope included the creation of a movie room including in-wall speakers, built-in entertainment center, full hidden wiring to all components, recessed LED dimmable lighting throughout, a new game room area including all tile work, a new wet bar area, painting of all walls & ceilings, new carpet on stairs, sanding / painting of doors, replacement of all hardware, outlets / outlet covers, and construction of movable movie style theater seating stages.  He kept his focus on cost as well as craftsmanship and worked hard to reuse items when available to keep costs down and sought the best prices to achieve our overall look.

We have used Brent in the role of a general contractor to oversee other small scopes of work (some with major equipment costs associated i.e.- HVAC system replacement) and have been very happy with the resulting work of the subcontractors as well.

Brent stands behind his work and always completed a walk-though with us at each stage of the renovation. We are beyond impressed and rely heavily on his expertise.

    HD Maintenance
Work was above and beyond what we expected. We knew that Doug did professional work, but were pleasantly surprised at the great ideas he came up with to remodel our deck. What was going to be a simple refinishing job of a small, simple deck turned into a much larger, beautiful one, including a railing. The ideas to add on were mine, making the job much larger than Doug anticipated when he started. But he was open to our change of plans and had excellent input in the design.

Doug has done many projects in the past for us, showing the greatest attention to detail. He was very neat in all of his work, cleaning up as he did the job. He was always considerate of our budget, looking for ways to save without compromising on the quality. He also was very dependable, arriving on time and working diligently at all times. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and neighbors, and we have!

Jimmy from Crickets Construction did an outstanding job collecting our basement remodel requirements. The project was very affordable. I trusted his team in my home and they were very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Crickets Construction and will consider them again for our next home remodel needs.

    Loren Dahl Construction
Loren is meticulous, detail-oriented, fair, patient and flexible. He worked hard to accommodate my crazy availability to be here and show him what needed done. Eventually the trust grew to a place where we just gave him a key. He has a strong work ethic and a gentle, kind personality so is a delight to have in the home.  He brought me a dozen different knob options to make sure I liked the one he would install on the mirrored closet door.  Loren is so thoughtful & thorough. He researched until he found light fixtures to perfectly match the one's we already had outside so the ones he added would match. He helped me catch up with endless little home improvement projects and wasn't too proud to turn down the simplest of tasks.

He also saved us $2,700 on repairing a retaining wall compared to a quote we got from another contractor. He was wonderful with our dog. My husband & I like him so much we wish he'd move in next door. We will never use another contractor, handyman, plumber, electrician, carpenter, stone worker, mason, etc. as long as he remains available to us.

    CK Rogers Design Build Remodel
We have had several remodeling projects completed in our home over the past 10 years.  Many we have done ourselves, and many we have contracted out.  We have had negative experiences in the past that prompted us to do more research/legwork to identify the right remodeler for this project.  I narrowed my options to three different remodelers (all NARI members and checked out with BBB) and got bids from each.  Clint's bid was competitive with the other two.  Due to his reputation, professionalism and consideration during the bidding process, and the resources he had at his disposal, I decided his company would be the best fit for us.

The design and planning stages were approximately a three-week process.  I worked with his designer Heather to pick lighting, carpet and paint.  We had a trades walkthrough where we confirmed precisely what needed to be done.  Clint prepared an MS Project schedule and a contract detailing costs allocated to the project; once signed, work began the next day.  Clint knew I was hoping to get the bulk of the work done before school started, as I wanted to get the kids back in their rooms.  He had several jobs he was juggling, yet he made it a point to accommodate our schedule.  There was one delay with the door order, but his carpenter Richard worked all day on a Saturday to get the project back on schedule.

Overall, the quality and attention to detail were superb.  Every trades person was punctual, courteous, respectful and diligent in their work. The molding and trim work are very high quality and added a touch of elegance to the basement space. The closets packs and built-in desk turned out beautifully, and are so functional.  The painters (Greg and his crew) had a lot of work in tight quarters, and did a fantastic job.  The doors they stained and laquered are very pretty, and the striped accent walls are stunning!  The pocket door functions well (not always easy to accomplish as we have three other pocket doors upstairs and all three have issues gliding quietly and easiliy), and opens up the hallway, allowing more light into the area.

The project manager Gari Aristizabal communicated with me regularly, and ensured I was happy with the results every step of the way.  He did some of the work himself, and went above and beyond to accommodate any additional request I had, as did Clint.  During this project, we a dishwasher leak (not part of the remodel) and Clint suggested and brought a product to address a potential mold issue in the subfloor.  This type of special consideration was commonplace.  Gari hung roman shades I ordered online (not part of the remodel bid).  They were not manufactured correctly, making installation a challenge.  He gave up much of one day to figure out a fix and install them, as he knew how much I liked them and what a hassle it would be if I had to return them and start over.  Again, just one example of the consideration and care afforded to our project.  This was important to me as my husband was working out of town during the entire remodel, and I needed to work with a company I could trust would match our standards for quality at a reasonable cost, and be willing to take care of tasks that my husband would have done if he was home.

I highly recommend CK Rogers for any remodel project, large or small.  We have future remodeling projects and will rehire CK Rogers to do those jobs given how well this project went.
