    Streeby, Dr. Dan R
At her first appointment with Dr. Streeby it was clear the amount of repair needed would require hospitalization. Dr. Streeby got her (us) through that initial phase of repair with the least amount of trauma possible. He really cares about his patients and gives careful thought to the best course for both the family and patient to arrive at optimum dental health. My daughter had quarterly check ups that first year under his care, followed by 6 month check ups to ensure any problems would be caught early. Dr. Streeby and his VERY caring staff motivate young patients to establish good dental hygiene with great contests, cavity free recognition and warm and friendly communication throughout visits. This office really is a fun and happy place. My daughter has had the best outcome imaginable. She's been completely CAVITY FREE for the NINE YEARS following that initial repair at age 5. Today she is 14 and has a beautiful smile. Dr. Streeby is the best Pediatric Dentist in south west Idaho!

Initial visit was for painful tooth, and DDS did emergency relief surgery pending subsequent root canal. I went back later that week for root canal, which did not resolve problem. After another week I went back and they removed the crown that was on the tooth, and did a "re-treatment" root canal (which cost another $800), which did not resolve the problem. Along with the charge for the root canal, and the re-treatment, I had to pay for the replacement crown at 1100. My tooth is still very painful, and I've spent $3k on one tooth that is not fixed, and now my insurance benefit is maxed out for the year. i am considering legal action as i still need to get that same darn tooth fixed, however now 100% of any dentist visit this year are out of pocket. P.S. Staff and docs are friendly, however if they can't do the job, nothing else matters.

    Michael Bailey MD,DDS
This was the best experience he could have possibly had. No complications, lots of instructions given, very professional, and flexible with scheduling. This was the first time he had been under an anesthetic so he was anxious going in. He was very pleased with the procedure/results and would recommend him to all.

It went well. They were very thorough. They gave me a hearing test, and although they couldn't do anything about my tinitis, they gave me some treatment options for my nose that seemed to have helped

    Gray & Smith Family Dental
Everything was fine. I have a capped tooth that has been on the watch list for a while as a possible root canal. The x-rays look normal, but it occasionally is tender. I've been putting it off because I'm afraid of the possible pain. Dr.Tyson Gray took the time to explain in detail how the root canal was done. He answered all my questions, and I felt that even though I took more time than usual, he did not seem rushed. Our family has been going to this dental practice for more than 20 years. They are now caring for my grandchildren's teeth. They provide professional service, and are easy to work with for payment. Norm and Sharon Seid

Dr. Doyle and his stuff are very professional and made the whole experience enjoyable for my 12 year old.  I will definitly recommend this practice to anyone.  My husband was very impressed with his dental work by Dr. Doyle as well.  Dr. Doyle himself called in the evening to see how he was doing after a root canal.

    Emerald West Family Dentistry
Even though I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Emerald Dentistry every six months and just had x-rays taken on the prior visit, somehow they missed that one of my back teeth had almost completely deteriorated underneath the gum line. This necessitated an emergency appointment and surgery with another doctor.
I'm very upset about this oversight. At some point prior to my tooth deteriorating, I feel that the doctor should have noticed something wrong, whether through x-rays or in person, as I don't believe this damage to my tooth happened within six months.

Great. It is nice to walk in to a place and you are promptly greeted by your first name. If you are uncomfortable in any way with dentists this is the place to go. They work with you at your pace. We have been going here for numerous years now and wouldn't go any where else.

I got an appointment the very next day, they put on a temporary cap and I went back today to have the permanent cap put on. The staff was extremely helpful, the doctor was great and everything went quite well.

    North End Dental
The dentist worked quickly and was friendly throughout my visit.  It was my first time with this particular dentist, even though I've been using this office for years.  She is younger than the dentist I'm used to using, but I had confidence in my regular dentist's ability to hire good help.
She had some difficulty getting one of the fillings to not interfere with my normal bite.  I had some pain at the end of the visit, but it was difficult to tell with all the anesthesia and prodding whether it was going to persist past a few hours.  Dr. Gallegos suggested I try coming back in a couple days if the pain did not go away.  I came back twice in the next week, and even though the bite got a little better, it was only after a few more weeks that everything felt normal again.  I have to admit it worried me a bit that she kept grinding on other teeth that hadn't been filled, but she assured me she was barely taking anything off of them.  Still, those teeth hadn't been a problem before the surgery, so it still made me uneasy.  But I'm not the dentist, so I guess I'll defer to her judgement.  I think she probably did fine work, but with all the tweaking required it made me wonder if I would have fared better with Dr. Chrisman.
All in all, I'll keep using North End Dental, but this one experience wasn't the greatest.
