    Lifestages Ob. Gyn.
I am so happy about this practice!  I have been treated with respect and concern by all staff members at all stages.  When I first came into the office, I was given a FREE ultrasound immediately when they heard that I had had some medical problems before seeing them.  It really felt like they cared more about my baby's health than about making sure I lined their pockets like some other places.  The office is in a bit of a strange location, but I am glad that I didn't let that put me off of trying them.
The staff introduce themselves and sit down and introduce themselves to you before doing any procedures (very nice for a pap smear).  The very best part is that they give you all the options, and never push you for tests that you may not want or need.  I am always given the options for a test, and if I need it, the procedure is explained to me.  Such a huge improvement from the prior practice I left!  I love them!

Update:  Dr. Juliette Hughes was my delivering physician, and she was AMAZING.  Patient, felxible, listened to me, and supportive.  I cannot praise this practice and physician enough.

    Woman's Clinic
My wife selected Dr. west after reading all of his reviews. He's absolutely incredible. He delivered our first child yesterday. He made the whole experience easy. He made every appt. and was there when we needed him the most. It's no wonder he has so many repeat patients.

    OB/GYN Associates
I just like them. It is important when you have an OB that you feel comfortable with who you are being seen by and I just really like the doctors that are in there. I will admit that there a couple that personality-wise I am not real fond of but they are professional and they are caring and they are good at what they do.

    Mary Hafer MD
Although I was pleased with Dr. Hafer and her staff, I was not happy with the follow-up interactions. Dr. Hafer is professional, yet easy to talk to and spent a good amount of time discussing options for HRT. My displeasure came a few months after our initial appointment when I called to ask for a refill of a prescription from a former doctor. I was told I would have to come back in for another appointment. My health plan only covers four medical visits per year, and now I had to use a second one to go back for an office visit. Then all she did was pull my chart, look at and give me a prescription for medication I had already taken in the past. To top if off the prescription renewal date was written for 15 months from the date of my initial appointment, but my insurance company will not cover anything past 12 months. So when I tried to renew it, the pharmacy called to get an okay, but Dr. Hafer's office would not approve - even though technically the prescription had remaining refills. Needless to say I have found a doctor that allows for email and phone communication between annual exams.

    Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center
Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center do the exams and it is reviewed by the techs and then my doctor tells me the results. I have never seen any doctor and the receptionist and the lady who does the mammogram seem good.

    Dean Watkins MD
The office is very well run. I got a 2 day call ahead and the check in process was smooth and fast.
Dr. Watkins is absolutely wonderful. I had a short list of concerns. He listened to all of them, discussed all of them with me, gave me options, his professional opinion and his advice as an older gentleman who's been practicing medicine a long time and genuinely cares about his patients.
His nurse, Jen was awesome. Kind and caring and with a wealth of information.
Most importantly, I think the staff, the nurses and the physicians are very professional. All aspect of my care were handled in a professional, but still caring, manner.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group - Emerald
When making the appointment it was apparent the group is in demand and very busy as I was not able to be seen for a few months. I take this as a GOOD sign!
Kandiss takes the time to listen to my concerns she's very helpful and knowledgeable.
I'm at ease with her in discussing woman-related issues.

    Butterfield, Ruth A.
I've been seeing Ruth Butterfield for about 4 years now and have been extremely pleased with her care. She always calls me back promptly and has been very accommodating to help find less expensive alternatives to the prescription I need. I see her once a year for my yearly checkup and she seems to remember me and know what concerns we need to address. Ruth is so warm and friendly that she actually makes the chore of an annual physical something I don't have to dread. I recommend her without reservation.

    Dean Watkins MD
Dr. Watkins is the best doctor I've ever had. He really values patient perspective and input. I never have to worry about him judging or not taking me seriously. He was retired but came back part time on Only Wednesdays and Thursdays to help with non OB work. I wish I could have had him follow my pregnancy but I see him for everything else because my OB is booked 6 months out. I highly suggest him for your everyday women health needs!

    Lovelace, Dr. Glen S
Doctor Lovelace offered a laproscopic hysterectomy.  My previous Doctor had indicated he would do an abdominal hysterectomy, and not at the hospital of my choice.  The surgery took place on a Monday morning and I was checked out the following morning by 9:30. I am walking around, eating just fine and taking 1 pain pill every 6 hours.  My only restrictions are no baths for a week and no sit-ups or other strenuous ab workouts for 1 month.  I can not imagine going through a traditional abdominal hysterectomy which would require a 6-8 week healing time, longer stay in the hospital, more pain, more time off work, possibility of more complications etc...I would recommend Dr. Lovelace and this procedure whole-heartedly.  I am so glad to have chosen this route for my health care needs.
