Very professional and knowledgable in their field, they put my mind at ease answering all my questions and walking me through every step they were taking to ensure that my crawl space was taken care of. Cody and Jered were the primary employees I had the pleasure of working with. They took care with my newly sold home, covering all the walk areas in plastic sheeting and even sweeping the hard surfaces before leaving. Cody took pictures of what my crawl space looked like, the mold growth they were going to treat, and showed me how they were going to go about the process. When the job was complete, he showed me the final pictures and I was amazed at the difference! It looked brand new. When the inspector came out to inspect my home for the buyers, he even commented on how well done the remediation was. A1 800 Water DamageDoug Sternes, the owner of 1-800-waterdamage was very quick to respond to a hot water leak in the crawl space of my residence in Boise. He worked very hard at removing the water. Initially, there was reported to be "no mold" found but after 7 days of drying and applying heaters under my house, he found mold. This required extensive work and two coats of an anti-fungal paint. A hepa vaccuming of the undersurface of my house was also done. Initially, I was led to believe by the insurance adjuster that they had concerns about the "sudden discovery of mold at day 7" when no mold was present initially. After a mold expert cleared my house of the mold and certified the mold abatement project as successful, I spoke with him and he assured me that Mr. Sternes had done a good job. Previously, on Angie's list, I opined at my dissatisfaction with him but, after talking with the mold expert, I have changed my mind and feel he did his job the best he could do it under the circumstances. As to whether I would use his services again, I have answered no because of the personal issues that have arisen between us over the slow manner in which the insurance has reimbursed him for the other "non-mold" work he did. I would certainly have no problems referring his services to someone else.- Bill M.

ASharpSight Home Inspections LLCSharpSight was incredibly friendly and worked with us throughout the entire process. We had started with an offer on one house, only to have things fall through before the inspection was performed. SharpSight offered us a refund or a credit towards another inspection. Since we knew we were moving for work and wanted to buy the credit made sense to us. We selected another home, and scheduled the inspection, only to have some more hurdles delay the acceptance of the offer and requiring us to reschedule the inspection on short notice. Throughout all of this, SharpSight was professional, friendly, and so helpful! I don't want to move again any time soon, but if we do, SharpSight is the gold standard we will measure all other inspections against.- Bart D.

AComplete Restoration ServicesOur insurance agent recommended this company and we were not disappointed. Came home from vacation to a flooded home. There was standing water on all of the hardwood and carpets were soaked. Complete Restoration Services came out at 11pm and worked thru the night. They did the job start to finish. AI had Resto-Clean referred to me by my insurance agent, and I couldn't be happier! We had a terrible vandalism incident at one of our properties which resulted in large biohazard clean up and repair. To start on the mitigation side everything was spectacular, I was out of town when this incident occurred and the project manager was willing to go by and get the documentation done before I was able to make it back home so that we could get the ball rolling. We found out real quick that this project was going to take a while. We had Cody and Jared assigned to the mitigation side of our job, and I cannot say enough kind words about the way they performed. Cody Berg came in extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to make sure I had a good understanding of what was being done, and the in-depth process that he was doing. Not only was he great when he was here working on the job, but he also kept daily contact with me when there would be an interruption and he could not make it out for the day. He is the true epidemy of professionalism, he did more than just make me feel like another customer he works to make a true relationship and is a great interpretation of the company he works for. We are now underway with the reconstruct side of the project and the team has been great for this part of the process as well! We have Scott as our project manager and he has kept our communication channel wide open and works with my millions of questions and requests along the way! He has been willing to work with me on the many different aspects of the project to not only repair but truly improves the property to look better than when it all started! On top of all this they are handling everything with our insurance and have made this process a breeze for me. The entire team so fare has made a wonderful impression of the company for me, and I know now that I will always work with and recommend Resto-clean to anyone needing these in-depth processes done on their property! AWe recently had a home built in Sky Mesa in Meridian, ID while we were not living in Idaho and unable to be there during the construction. Even though the home has a first year full warranty, many things are not easily discoverable, and in this case even more so, since we were not there watching the construction. Also given that the home is our largest single investment and where we hope to live happily for many years, it was definitely worth the cost to have it professionally inspected. Many years ago we had used owner Stan Audette’s services for a home inspection when our daughter bought her first home in Boise. We were happy then as we are now. Shauna coordinated the inspection with the builder for us. Mike Fry inspected the house on a Friday afternoon. He emailed us the most comprehensive home inspection report that we have ever received and included pictures of every item which was invaluable for us since we could not be there. We were able to have it in the builders hands by Sunday. In addition to the more obvious “Cosmetic” issues, Mike noted 38 “Lesser Issues” which the AAD report explains “were likely to individually require less than $1000 to cure.” Several of those issues, we would not have discovered even living in the home and could possibly have led to worse problems over time and more costly repairs as damage resulted. There was also a lot of valuable information provided to us in the complete report that will help us maintain the home in the best possible condition and avoid future problems. We feel that AAD Inspection Corp deserves 5 stars for what they did for us. We not only highly recommend them, but would strongly encourage anyone to pay for a professional to inspect any home they are purchasing, even new construction.

AWe hired Powers Building Group (PBG) after obtaining estimates from 2 other contractors. While PBG was not the least expensive, it was fair. We felt Dave and Isaac would provide us with the results we wanted. The scope of work was vast, including replacing all kitchen & bathroom countertops, replacing all recessed lights w/LEDs, replacing 3 (and installing 3 new) ceiling fans, replacing tile flooring/sinks/faucet hardware in 3 bathrooms, interior painting throughout house (including painting over stained cabinetry in kitchen), updating some electrical wiring, and installing several major appliances. Isaac and Myles performed the vast majority of work, with Dave (owner) providing assistance. The work was done skillfully, with great attention to detail. They maintained a very clean work environment throughout the entire process. Isaac is a very skilled communicator and provided a great deal of information and guidance, and it is evident that Myles enjoys his job and the challenges in meeting a customers’ wants and needs. PBG devised a construction schedule and worked diligently to meet all goals. Since our entire remodel took place during the pandemic, care was taken to ensure a safe environment, as well as to stay on schedule. [There were, however, understandable delays outside of their control.] We have previously remodeled 2 other homes in the last 4 years, utilizing a different contractor. While we were pleased with the remodeling results, we were dissatisfied with the ‘administrative’ aspect of things. We did NOT have that problem with Powers Building Group. We were provided with a detailed estimate at the outset which only varied with changes approved by us; we were kept informed of every necessary piece of information; and many discussions took place to ensure our satisfaction throughout the process. We HIGHLY recommend Powers Building Group as they have a strong work ethic, are highly skilled, maintain professionalism while still being very approachable and friendly, and getting the job done right and on time. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

ATravis set up the equipment when he was at the house, during the home inspection a couple of days ago (see separate review for the home inspection). As the test needed to be done over a 48-hour time frame, he updated the report originally provided with the results of the radon test. We didn't have to prompt him at all. "Magically" an email with a link to the new report was received on the date we'd been told. Such a pleasure dealing with professionals who deliver what was mutually agreed upon.

AGreat!! Kevin Frost was first to provide an estimate which was reasonable and complete. On the job he was thorough in prep, painting and finishing. No detail was too small and he did a walk around with us to ensure we were happy with the finished product. We had four colors used and detail work was required. He did it all over the course of 6 days and used quality Sherman Williams paint. I would highly recommed Frost Painting if you are planning on painting your house.
