    f i could give NO stars or negative stars, I would. We ordered 17k worth of appliances in July. First, when we called to ask if someone could come out to ensure we ordered the right ones, they said "bring us all of the serial numbers and we can exact match the sizes that way", so we did. Second, they told us the order would take a couple weeks to arrive., it's now almost November and we are still dealing with them and the mess. Their "serial number match" was a joke - they ordered us a fridge that was too small for our opening, the dishwasher didn't fit and neither did the microwave, basically the only thing that did was the cooktop. So, installer gets here the first time once all appliances are delivered and immediately tells us the fridge wont fit and how did we measure, we told them we didn't, they said bring the serial numbers in. He said they could have had me come out and do a measurement appointment (guess he does them all the time but we were never offered this). Fridge goes back and I ask for a refund instead of going through the process to wait for another one since it took almost three months to get in the first place - they had the BALLS to charge me a 25% restocking fee - I am speaking with an attorney for unfair business practices on this whole sham of a business as it's a JOKE, also going to file a BBB complaint and whatever others i can as I literally feel they just ripped me off. I mean, that was a 7k fridge that you said would fit and now you just get to keep my $1700?!?! Fast forward to the remaining items arriving (again 3 months later), same guy (who is the only amazing thing in the whole ordeal as he did everything perfectly) comes to install dishwasher and double oven, well, dishwasher hose is cracked and we have to have one ordered and still can't use the dishwasher - he calls freds and tells them, we called, and finally we get a call saying the part is in, they will be here Tuesday (10/27) to fix it and we will get a call with a 2 hour window that day. Tuesday comes, no call. We call them and "Oh no, I dont know why this was messed up, I dont show you on the schedule but I see the notes, my service manager will be out first thing in the morning to handle that" Wednesday (10/28) 8:30am service manager calls and says I wont be there, Fred's didn't give me the part to fix it, I will be in touch. Just MINDBLOWN over this whole scenario, and the thing about it is, they just dont care. I called after the fridge thing and the restocking fee issue to their corporate office to complain about the sales person who we dealt with and no one calls back! No credits for anything, had to pay two times for two different installs because they messed up, but they just dont care. I honestly can't believe they are in business still - what happened to "locally owned" support local practices, I tried to do that and it bit me in my ***, Fred's doesn't care about it's locals and i hope this review will save the next person who is thinking about using them the headache.

    Tried to get the right pulls that fitted the zipper they had sold me. They were not interested to correct their error. They just wanted to sell me more pulls. I do not believe that a customer needs to leave a store angry and feeling cheated.

    Chris And Tom's Billiards Service
    TERRIBLE! We hired Chris and Tom to help us move our table, redo the bumpers and give it new felt. When they returned the side rails and the slate, we were SHOCKED at the damage they had caused to the side rails. The damage is so great in fact that we will now have to have the top of our beautiful table completely refinished. In addition, the bumpers were not reinstalled correctly so that now there is raw wood showing all the way around and worst of all, the table is not level. We politely asked them to return and reset the bumpers. They scheduled us but did not come and did not call. I waited all morning for them. I called back to reschedule and was told they would not be coming back and then Chris hung up on me! This was after Chris suggested I could remedy the raw wood by "using a marker". Avoid these people at all costs. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! They are not licensed or bonded. BEWARE!!

    We purchased 7000 dollars worth of appliances from Fred’s had three wall ovens replaced under warranty in the first year the after fourteen months the new fridge went out , Fred’s came out to fix it and the weld had failed and all the coolant had evaporated a 1200 dollar fix and two week wait on the parts so we opted to buy a new fridge for 2000 and after one week it stopped working , we told them we wanted a new one , and they would not exchange it only wanted to repair it , we didn’t pay for a repaired fridge we wanted a new one that works ! Come to find out I called whirlpool and they said that particular part was covered for five years and would of been fixed under warranty another thing Fred’s failed to tell us ! Very poor customer service Steve the service manager wouldn’t even come to the phone and another guy named Chris had the worst customer service skills ever . Don’t shop here they are the worst to work with after they get your money!!!

    I received immediate attention from the owner/operator.  She came to my home and assessed my needs.  I had an antique rocker and she constructed a new seat for it and did a beautiful job.  She then took another antique chair and made new cushions and upholstered.  Both times were pickup and delivery to my door. The work was professional and I feel fairly priced.

    Salesman was knowledgeable about the refrigerator that would work best in my unheated garage. I didn't realize that current models don't work properly in spaces that get below 32 degrees. With an adaptor, my Frigidaire is good to go and works excellently. Delivery and pick up of old refrigerator was on time. Fred's Appliance has been the first place I go to because I think it's important to support our local businesses.
