    Poor service. Outrageous prices. Wouldn't recommend. Summary: I've never had an issue when I've used a AAA-recommended service provider before, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I had to wait for several days before I could post this review. Two weeks ago, my son had his car towed by AAA. He forgot who I used for a mechanic, and so he had it towed to a shop they recommended. The ultimate diagnosis and repair was for a faulty ignition switch. However, it took nine days for that repair, and the cost kept ballooning during the time in the shop. However, my biggest issue was the poor service. I would be promised phone calls that never happened. On multiple occasions, I was promised that my son's car was "next up," only to find out 24 hours later that it hadn't been looked at. On Day 8, I was told that part of the reason for the cost was that the ignition was chipped and would have to be reprogrammed as part of the repair, only to be told on Day 9 that they had no idea the car had chip keys. Finally, on Day 9, I was promised that the car would be fixed by 10:00AM on Day 10. My wife and I were going to be leaving town by 5:00AM on Day 10 and our two college-age sons would each need a functioning car while we were gone (we have 3 cars for 4 people). I explained this and that I needed to have the car by close of business that day. The service manager offered me a rental overnight, but I told him that, since neither of my sons are old enough to drive a rental yet, my wife and I would need to take it, and so he would need to cover the cost of the rental for 4 days, not just overnight. The car was done two hours later.

    For the past 10 years, I've relied on the guys at Graham Tire to work on my cars for almost everything that's needed to be done. At one point or another, I've had all of the following work done by them: Routine maintenance (including oil changes), brakes, tires, AC repair, and a new transmission. I go back to them again and again. Right now, I'm working with a different mechanic in town on an issue because my son accidentally had his car towed into the wrong shop. The difference in service is night and day, and makes me appreciate Graham Tire all the more.

    The process was easy, professional and without glitches. Arrived for my appointment and vehicle was taken in to be worked on immediately. Was told replacement would take about an hour but was completed and out the door in 45 minutes. Work was done very well; has now been a week since repair and not issues of any kind. Guy at the customer counter was cordial and knowledgeable.

    See above. As well as everyone there was open and honest about everything related to the deal. The sales person and the finance people are the friendliest and most professional I have run into in 40 years of auto purchases. The business itself lives up to it's motto  of how buying an Auto should be. I can not stress the professionalism of the sales person or the friendliness of ALL the people at this place of business. The entire experience makes me regret ever purchasing an auto ANYWHERE else. Oh, and the car was awesome too. Believe me when I say, I joined Angie's list just to share my experience and encourage anyone looking for an auto to go here. Everyone I and my wife know will be strongly encouraged to buy here. Also I encourage anyone anywhere to check out their local CarMAx dealership. My only hope is that they stay the same for at least another 20 years.

    We've been long-time customers. They're fantastic. There's no going back and forth to sales managers. The salesman can make the sales on their own, so they kind of wheel and deal with us, although there's not much wheeling and dealing because they're already probably the wellest priced dealership in the area.

    Crow Tow
    After being ran off the road by a drunk driver, the police called Crow Tow. I was an emotional wreck, and my husband was trying to gather our belongings. I had just gotten off of work, and had two days worth of tips in my serving book: $275. The tow truck driver overheard me asking my husband to grab my apron with my book in it, but he could not find it. Well, the driver found it and took all of the money. When I was went to file a complaint, the owner basically called me a liar. The bill was $252, and he would assume no responsibility for his driver. When I shared this experience with my insurance agent, he said he has had multiple complaints over the past few years and has even asked the police to stop calling this company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

    Spent a few months investigating electric cars, including the Ford C-Max engeri. The sales rep stayed in touch with me, but was not over bearing. Ended up buying the C-Max and the purchasing experience was easy and pleasant.

    Went extremely smoothly. Shade Tree was great about getting back via the Angie's List website and via phone.  Took a look at the vehicle and recommended a couple problem areas, which the dealer addressed before we purchased the vehicle. Provided a complete diagnostic report via the web. We'll definitely take our car to Shade Tree in the future for service work.

    They suggested new brake pads while they had the rears apart.  I said OK since the price they quoted ($275.00) was in line with what I expected for 1 set of brake pads + labor.  I could have done it myself, but I was there and the quoted price was fair.  I got the car back and paid.  The noise was gone and they consistently treat me with respect.

    On two other occasions I have gone in to have free alignment checks.  Both times they said there was nothing out of line, and no charge.  So far, this store has given me only good, quality service.

    As usual, all went well.  We've taken our vehicles to J & K for years.  They've done everything from Oil Changes to major repair work.  We've always found them to be professional, honest and fairly priced.  They'll only do the work that is necessary.  I highly recommend J & K.
