Overall, this went very well. We were doing preventative maintenance on a 17-year-old roof. We got the quality we expected at the price we wanted, and Tim made sure everything was to our satisfaction at the end. Would definitely hire again. Price was excellent. The quote was lower than anyone else, but we did do some negotiation to get that price (including going in with 2 neighbors as a volume discount). He quoted using the same high-quality materials and crews that other companies did. Quality was excellent. The roof looks great, with ridge vents instead of the old box vents. They even changed a bathroom vent to go vertically per code (no add'l charge). They made sure the roof was protected before they left each night. Some plants did get flattened, and the glass in our back door got scratched, but Tim offered to make it right without any hesitation. The workers were great. They were respectful. They smiled and said hi. And otherwise, they kept to themselves. They cleaned the site up well afterwards. We found a few nails left in the driveway, nowhere else. Timing was... fine. We said our timing was flexible since our old roof wasn't leaking. We received and signed the quote in mid-April. Originally planned for 3-4 weeks out, but the work ultimately took place in mid June. I do think we could have been moved up if we'd needed it. We were originally told 1 day to do it all; it took more like 1.5 days, plus a small break for weather, plus a little time on the third day to reattach vents in the attic. No biggie, but one day did seem rather optimistic. It's what I would expect for a job this size.

Job went perfectly once we were able to get our calendar and Tim's calendar to match. His crew was prompt, professional, hard working and did a very thorough clean-up. Resolved the improperly roofed areas with 30 yr. rubber membrane.....which no other roofer suggested or recommended. Increased attic ventilation with installation of ridge vents. Installed ice/water shields under valleys and all eves. Because of threatening weather he was conservative in stripping off the old shingles and brought in additional crew to ensure completion of shingling prior to possible storm. Charges were to the penny of the written and detailed estimate which wasn't the lowest or highest but the most complete written estimate we obtained.

We were initially impressed with the quick response after we purchased the deal. They called within a half hour to schedule the service. That's about the end of the positive notes, unfortunately. The person who came out was the owner. He arrived 20 minutes early, and his idea of "advance notice" was calling us when he was sitting in our driveway to ask if he could come early! I'm no home-repair-idiot, and neither is my other half. But the owner also spoke to her as if she couldn't possibly know anything because she was a woman. I only purchased the service because my professional job takes up a large portion of my time, and I choose to "contract" out certain home jobs to other professionals. Unfortunately the quality and value of the services actually performed was abysmal. I got up on the roof to inspect the services performed, and found that they "did" put some caulking on the roof as advertised, however it couldn't have been more poorly done. There are quite a few chimneys and vents on our large roof, and they applied caulking to a few of them, however they only put caulking on one or two sides here and there, almost randomly. Leaving the other sides that have obviously visibly-worn caulking with gaps and cracks that are still exposed to the elements. Other than caulking the flashings and boots, they did apply to a few exposed nail heads. The "inspection" portion of the service "unsurprisingly" revealed that our only-7-year old roof was "incorrectly" put together, needed all sorts of new flashings and boots installed, and all new gutters. We received an extremely un-detailed quote for the services totaling $6000. We requested some kind of explanation as to why these services were supposedly necessary and what exactly would be performed for this not-small chunk of change, but the company remains unresponsive. In summary, I can't help but feel that this entire "tune up" service was a sham to allow this company to get in front of you with an expensive quote for questionably-necessary services. This was an utter disappointment to say the least. I guess I'll go buy some caulking and get up on the roof and maintain it myself.

I had my roof checked after mold was found in a closet.  I was concerned
that there was a leak in the roof, and called about the tune-up special
advertised on Angie's List.  I was initially told to hold off on buying
the special, and wait to see what work actually needed to be done, which
saved me over $100 up front.  I had an appointment set up by the
end of the day, and BJ came out the following day to look at the roof.
He found a couple of areas that needed sealed, and examined the interior
crawl space for leaks.  Luckily, no major repairs were needed, and he
left without requiring payment.  This company provided prompt,
professional service, and demonstrated integrity in the short experience
I had with them.  How refreshing to interact with a company that is
honest and doesn't take advantage by making money "over-repairing"
things that aren't necessary.  When my roof does need repaired or
replaced, this is the company I will call.

Tim came out and took a look at the roof.  I was a little concerned that my roof might need to be replaced because there are slight dips in the roof where the 4'x8' wood has dipped in the middle.  Tim explained that this was due to inadequate venting, causing heat+moisture to collect under the roof.  This moisture then gets into the wood and slightly weakens the board, causing it to dip a little.  He didn't think the roof needed to be replaced but did suggest we consider adding some vents.   His analysis was that there weren't enough vents on the roof, and this was easy to verify comparing my roof to my neighbor's roofs.  In the end, he offered me a couple different options, just replacing the boots, replacing the boots and adding some additional vents.  I went with just the boots for now.  The repair stopped the water from leaking in as it had been.

Perfect and beyond expectations!!!! Great customer service and hard working team. They stayed until 9:00 pm on a Friday night to finish project and fit me in the schedule because more rain was expected :)

Service crew was prompt, actually a little early.  They went straight to work and were aware of the duct replacement.  They assisted with replacing the duct (I was in the attic) and secured the cap.  Then they sealed the duct as well.  The old flashings and duct were picked up and removed from the property.  I was very pleased with both the crew and the contractor. Would recommend this company to other homeowners.

Provider never responded to emails or calls to reschedule over the next 2 weeks.  Finally one morning, the provider answered the phone and hung up when I introduced myself.  I would not recommend this provider.

    Premier Construction Services
From the initial bid process through to the completion of the work, the owner, Adam Sieren, was a consummate professional and communicated with us in a way that left us feeling secure and well-informed about the process and the investment we were making in our home. Adam was especially good at presenting us with options for various features of the home - at no point did we feel pressured, but we were appreciative of the time he invested to talk us through details that helped give our space a more custom feel while still remaining within the budget that we initially gave him for the project. Given the size and scope of the project, we were completely impressed with the speed and high quality of the work that was completed. We would highly recommend Premier Construction for a project of any size, and we are planning on using them again in the Spring for some additional home improvements.

I was disappointed that we never heard back from him. Out of courtesy I would have appreciated some follow up indicating that, for whatever reason, he was unable to help us out. We wouldn't have delayed our decision making process (we ended up waiting a week and postponing our decision before we finally gave up on him) had he let us know that he was not interested in our business.
