    This plumbing supply company is run by careless, incompetent ninnies. 1) We tried to view faucets, etc., at Water Concepts, but the manager screeched at us that we'd have to wait weeks to get an appointment. An appointment just to look at faucets?? WTH? 1a) Amazingly enough anyone can walk into Ferguson's in Des Moines WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT and they are the nicest, most helpful people around. 2) Plumb Supply told us week in advance, that our entire order was in, but when we picked it up, the faucet was not there. They promised to order it, overnight-shipping on them. They did not order it. When I called days later to inquire where it was, they suddenly remember they forgot to order it a SECOND TIME. 3) We gave Water Concepts item numbers and descriptions to order, and they ordered the wrong model of faucet. The problem is, they look identical, so after the faucet was installed, the plumber tried to hook up the foot control, and that's when the error was found. 3a) We should have ordered everything at Ferguson in DSM but our plumber typically works with Plumb Supply, so we let him follow his usual business model - - big mistake. 4) Plumb Supply REFUSED to make it right. They told us the faucet was now "used" so it's not their problem. Needless to say, this was an expensive faucet, and now I'm stuck with it. 5) I wrote a letter to the President of Plumb Supply, detailing my issues. I did not receive a reply. -> For as long as I live, I will NEVER do business again with this company of shoddy wankers.

    LifeStyle Plumbing Inc
    I used Lifestyle Plumbing Inc out of Waukee to fix a dripping shower faucet (Moen) and a new drain in my bathroom on March 9,2018. Don came out. Seemed like an OK guy. On time. Worked for 1 1/4 hours mostly on pulling the faucet cartridge which was horribly stuck and showed me how to replace it as I watched?that was good. Don put in a ?different? cartridge and it still leaked as much as before and he saw that. Don said the only remedy was to cut a hole in the wall and replace the entire shower/tub valve assembly. I wasn?t ready to sign up for that and Don said he had ?done all that he could? so wrote up the bill. The bill was for $299.98 of which $104 was for the cartridge that did no good. I thought that was high but I had no idea and a guy has to make a living, so my bad. The new shower drain was fine.
    Got to thinking that Moen warranties it?s shower/tub fixture not to leak for as long as you own them and that it was odd that I should have to replace the whole brass valve and not just the cartridge to fix a leak.
    So I emailed Don that same evening and said I thought maybe the cartridge he installed was defective and could he tell me what the part number was so I could try another one.
    I waited a couple of days?no response. I worked with Moen to figure out the right cartridge(1222)and bought a brand new one at Lowe?s for $38,99 (a bit less than the $104 charge but OK) Installed it myself and? no more leak.
    Then I compared the ?new? cartridge that Don installed 3 days earlier with an in the package new one I just bought and noticed the brass stem was scratched and the plastic housing around the stem was discolored compared to the new one I got at Lowe?s. It sure looks used to me which would explain why it leaked as bad as the one taken out. But I can only say what I see and what I experienced.
    I called Don on March 13 and told him I got the leak stopped with a real new cartridge and could I get a refund of the excessive $104 part which did no good. He told me I should have called that same day (I emailed but he says he ?never got it?...convenient) Then he said he didn?t believe I fixed it and was just trying to get money ( I guess he knows about that). He would not admit that it was still leaking when he finished his work and that he knew it. and even suggested the ?only remedy?. Anyway, I am out the $104 for what appears to be a used cartridge and I really don?t appreciate Don?s attitude. Anyone can do what they want, but I will never do business with LifeStyle Plumbing again.
    I have the cartridge Don installed and what a new one looks like. I have his bill charging $104 and the Lowe?s receipt for $38.99 for the same part dated 3 days apart to prove I had to buy a new one. I have the time-stamped email I sent to the contact address on his website to show I informed him the same day and will share with anyone interested.

    We had an excellent experience! We hired Remodelworks initially for a complete kitchen remodel. We were so pleased with the outcome we went ahead with a master bath remodel, a deck, and a pool house which we love. Whether your budget is $15,000 or 200,000, Remodelworks has always answered the call. They helped us formulate our vision of what we wanted. They have a very talented group of pros from plumbing to custom carpentry and trim work. They always were within budget, always advising us when we might want upgrade from the budget, they always had our economics in mind. They really restored our home and made it enjoyable again!

    Best Heating, Cooling & Electric
    Best provided a price right away when I called, and were out the next morning for the new installation. Others were quoting up to $2300 (50%) more on for the same brand/model new water heater and were scheduling several days out for installation. Best did the install itself very quickly, it was clean work & cleanup, and professional service. This was my first time using them and I would use them again! I will only be using Best from now on.

    great work, reasonably priced, work done in a timely manner Service man, Randy was able to tell me right away what was wrong with the faucet. We needed a faucet that is not typical and he needed a special tool to do the work. Goering Plumbing was able to locate the part and we were back to using the faucet in 3 hours!!!!

    Awesome! A different plumber said they'd have to rip the whole shower out, but DDS looked at it and were able to fix the issue in less than an hour for about $100. I appreciated their approach to trying the less expensive/destructive thing first rather than trying to charge me a ton of money for an unnecessary fix. And they were on time, plus got me scheduled within a day! Highly recommend.

    Fiddler On The Roof Chimney Service
    Andrew was on time after having to drive through traffic. He was courteous and highly professional. He made sure to not damage my floor with his equipment and he made sure he wiped his shoes on the outdoor rug before walking in my house. He did a great job cleaning my chimney and made sure there were no dust which was my utmost concern. He also gave me an assessment of my chimney's condition which I appreciated. I am very pleased.     I had called AM PM Plumbing and an appointment was set to troubleshoot my water heater problem.  They arrived on time, were professional, very knowledgable and able to diagnose the problem.  I then made another appointment for 2 days later to fix the connection to my power vent.  Again, they were prompt and wasted no time changing the connection.  I'm so excited that I have found a plumbing company I can trust, is affordable, very knowledgable and actually shows up when they say they will!  Excellent!

    Builder's plumber...we weren't impressed. We had all kinds of build mistakes including leaks, broken/non-functioning fixtures and Cook Plumbing never tested the water pressure between our home and the street. Thankfully a squeaky kitchen faucet that wouldn't quit squeaking after multiple Cook Plumbing visits, Cook Plumbing finally determined it wasn't a fixture issue rather our home water pressure was 1.5x above the recommended level. We had lived in our home for almost 1.5 years when this was discovered and we were grateful we had not experienced blown pipes from the excessive water pressure. When we decided to finish our basement we selected a different plumbing company. We would never recommend Cook Plumbing.
