    Cory's Painting
Cory was great. He is very professional and his attention to detail is impeccible. We had some repair work done by someone else in conjunction with the painting and Cory kept tabs on that work as well; he alerted us to places that might need additional work and followed up with the carpenter to ensure that the work was done.
Cory tackled a big job and made adjustments to his schedule when things didn't go as planned. While he doesn't have a big crew, they are good at what they do, and Cory is always checking to make sure that the work is top quality.

    Dave's Handyman Service
Somehow they did a great job. What caught my attention were the foul languages that the handyman used when talking to the younger guy. He kept on yelling at him and so I talked to him, telling him that he's old enough to know better. And so he backed off a little bit. But overall, they did an excellent job on my garage.

    In&Out Project Corp
They gave me an estimate and they stuck with the estimate.  They did a good job.  They were neat and polite.  They just worked.  They were in and out.  They came and did the job.  They did everything that they said they would and in the time that they said they would do it in.  They do painting and other things as well.  I just had them do painting.  The overall experience was excellent.  Their price was very good.  I think it was excellent.  They were excellent on everything.  We will consider using their services again in the future.

    Dave's Handyman Service
I called him on Saturday. He came over on Sunday to give me an estimate. We set a date and time and he arrived promptly on the decided day. He worked quickly. The complete visit took less than 2.5 hours. I was satisfied with his work. His estimate was very reasonable. I was pleased to have the work done and the house looking so nice.

    All Iowa Paint & More
Hired Scott's Painting a.k.a. All Iowa Paint & More after getting a reasonable estimate. He stated he could start in a few days. Discussed type of paint, color(s) etc. Came to an agreement and re quested a cash deposit of $50 for supplies. I thought fair enough. In a two month time frame, I tried contacting him over 50 times and finally would not answer the phone (caller ID). After calling him from a blocked number and friends number, I talked to him about when he would start the job. He was given me every excuse of the book. i.e. moving, wife was sick, etc., etc., etc.

    All Iowa Paint & More
On 05-26-10 Scott Norton of All Iowa Painting gave me an estimate for exterior painting at my home and said that the job would be completed on 5-29-10. It was clear & dry that day; he painted 2 sides of the foundation & omitted 2 sides of the foundation, 2 2nd floor windows, & the backdoor frame. He took the check for the money due upon completion and cashed it on 5/29/10. I contacted him 5/29 & asked why the job was incomplete and when it was going to be done. He replied that he got a late start & it would be finished on 06/01. I stated that the check was not to have been cashed until the work was completed. He agreed that he should not have cashed it. I stated that he should have called me that he was not able to work that day. He agreed and said that he had lost my phone number. (My number is written on the estimate, and I am listed in the phone book.) It was not done & I made another call. He said his child was sick, but he would finish the job the next day. It was not done. I called again. He said his truck had broken down, but it was fixed and he would finish the work the next day if it did not rain. Rain occurred for several days. On 06/09, was a clear day, and no work was done. I called at 7:37 AM on 06/10, and reached a voice mail. I left a message stating that if he was unable to complete the job arrangements needed to be made for him to return the money to me for the work that was not completed and that he was to call me to resolve this situation. Rain again occurred for several days. On 06/16, a clear, dry day, no work was done. I called at 5:22 PM, and asked why the painting was not done. He stated that he had gone to Des Moines because his daughter had tried to commit suicide, but he would finish the painting on 06/17. It was not done. On 06/21, another call was made, and he stated that he would be out that afternoon. No painting or scraping was done. On 06/22, a phone message was left requesting that the painting be completed by the end of the week (06/25, which is a month since the estimate was given), and the alternative of returning the money for not finishing the job in the form of a cashier?s check was offered since he seemed to be having difficulty completing the work. I stated that I much preferred that the painting be completed. As of this posting, 06/22/10, the work remains unfinished.

    The Paint Crew
We had noticed this company in our area for several years. They were always painting for historic homes and large older homes. After contacting them by phone we agreed on a time to begin the work and a price. They arrived on schedule, performed fine quality work and we paid the agreed price. We are very pleased with the care and quality of the work and would be happy to recommend them to anyone wanting fine exterior paint work.
