  This was first time I hire someone on my own. I was extremely comfortable with all the guys. Very professional and very very hard workers. I had some very large limbs over my neighbors garage. They asked to speak with Scott. He communicated with them all the time he was here. All my neighbors are happy with his work! They left my yard cleaner then when they came. Thank you Scott and crew!!!

  Tapper Turf & Land

  His 1st estimate was 8500. I told him to go home and work on it making sure he was right on, he came back with 9200. I agreed then all this. Very bad business practices, tore out old R R walls with 2 big of a dozer, broke the neighbors fence moving the old ties to the street , carelessly letting the old ties stick out beyond the dozer bucket that hit fence. Ignored my warning about the sprinkler junction box and ran over it several time causing it to leak. Backed into chain link fence bending 2 post and throwing the gate out of alignment. Backed into 2 border landscape blocks sinking them into the ground and out of alignment. Wanted more money for disposal of ties ( he underestimated the cost? ) I agreed and paid 1500. more for this. Wall sank in before done he fixed and wanted 600.00 more, I refused and he got rude said he was done and left. It sank again in another area 1 week after done and he refuses to repair it.

  Premier Landscape & Irrigation LLC

  Paid in advance to "get special pricing" for six fertilizer treatments. To my knowledge, I got three. Every other company posts the required sign in the yard after applying treatment. These folks never posted the sign. I realize we had a wet season, but the only way I could get the fertilizer treatments was to call and complain. Responsiveness is terrible. My yard hasn't looked this bad in years. I will never use this company again!

  They arrived on time. They had all the equipment they needed. The tree came down in stages. It was amazing to watch how they did this. We were very satisfied with the good work they did. It was an all day job. They cleaned everything up very nicely after they were done. The price to have this all done was very reasonable.

  Nick and team do an amazing job. We have used them multiple times and every time they come they are careful in the yard, extremely professional/polite and do a terrific job cleaning up so the yard is in great shape when they leave.

  We had used A+ Lawn for our annual lawn treatment service for several years and we were pleased with the service provided so we hired A+ to do a landscaping job. The work provided for the landscaping project, however, was poor. The initial work done was shoddy but the designer was satisfied with the job. We felt his expectations were quite low for the quality of work done and the job would have been left as it was had we not pointed out the problems. It was obvious there were problems as the second time the work was done was much better. We had to work too hard to make sure the work was done right. We are still not 100% satisfied with the job but A+ refuses to correct the remaining problems. In short, the service we received for the money we paid did not meet our expectations. Also, communication for when the workers would be doing the work was lacking. We wanted to be home when they came back for the corrections and it was very difficult to get them to let us know a time so we could plan to be off work. They have been good about warranty work and have replaced some plants that were dying.

  I contacted the company via email on Angie's List to explained the somewhat urgent situation and to request service. They never responded. This earned them an "F" for responsiveness and since I was unable to judge them on other criteria --like price or quality-- based on this [lack of] interaction, they get an average, overall rating of "F".

  All Iowa Tree Service

  Tree removal was done great with all tree parts taken away by the company. I called Derrick here in May for the stump removal. He got back to me right away, saying he was backed up and it would be about a month before getting to us. It was about 3 weeks later and Derrick called saying he had a guy coming over to remove stump if that was ok? Not knowing what to expect, everything went well with the stump removal. The next day Derrick followed up on the work and had to have a talk with his stump removal guy because he "doesn't do work like that". I was very happy with Derrick and his high standards of work. He & his crew cleaned up the scattered tree bits. Treated the dirt and layer down grass seed. We are very happy with Derrick's communication, work and follow up. We will definitely call again for future needs.

  One crew started, and never saw those people again. The second crew came and finished, there never was an communication. The second crew did not do what I had asked the first crew to do. I expect more service, for what I paid. They were hard workers. They got the job done. That was positive. The negative, was communication of the different crews. This was poor service. The two different crews did not communicate. Not based on this experience, I would not recommend them. The first experience with them I would.

  The hard work of the lead person, and his car of his job, and his work. His concern of doing what I wanted done. Just did a good job. I was satisfied with his results. Based on this work, I would use them again.
