  • He's been our family physician for probably 12 years. He's very personable with his patients. I like him. He knows the details. He's a very good physician. I think he's affiliated with some of the other medical centers here in Sioux City. I actually know a lot of the staff members up there because I grew up in Sioux City. It's very personalized. He's pretty much A across the board.

  • My child had never had a problem with getting sick until I took her to this daycare, and at first I just thought that it was because most children get sick when they start to attend a new daycare. But it has been two and a half months and my daughter is still sick we have been to the doctor several times, and she had been on a few antibiotics in the two and a half months. It seem that if she isn't there for five days she get better but then upon returning home on her first day back she is sick again. Then I was notified that my child was exposed to the rotavirus, and luckily didn't catch it, but now she has HMFD and is covered in blisters mainly in her mouth and on her hands. When I notified the building blocks staff they just said "oh yeah we have a few kids with that virus" but I was never notified that they were having issues with a virus in the 0-12 month old room. But the last straw was when my child started to come home with unexplained bruises. This place is a parents nightmare! very uncooperative staff and a good place to get sick.

  • .The center was dirty and there was always a sign on the door for something that was going around the center. My children we always sick and they are not sickly children. The directors are not the smartest and are not very friendly. The food is gross and always cold.

  • My daughter went there for almost a year. While there she ended up getting RSV,pneumonia, bronchitis, Shigella, chicken pox along with numerous everyday colds and illnesses. There were a few times when they failed to call myself or my husband when my daughter was sick. Our daughter has to have breathing treatments every 4 hours and they would fail at times to make sure she had her treatments when they were due. I will not take my daughter back there and I will not recommend this day care center to any friends or family due to the experiences that we had while our daughter was there.

  • We have been bringing our baby girl to Building Blocks for two months. I go in to nurse my daughter every day over my lunch break, so I get to see the teachers interact with the babies on a daily basis. The teachers are fantastic! They love the babies and show them affection: cuddling them, tickling them, and laughing with them. They are also efficient. I have watched them feed two babies at once, while also bouncing two other babies in bouncy chairs. I feel very confident that my daughter is loved and cared for while at Building Blocks. I highly recommend them.

  • I generally had problems getting in to see a doctor period, whether is
was my primary doctor or not. I almost always ended up going to urgent
care. Last winter I had bronchitis that took two rounds of antibiotics
to get rid of it. After the second time at urgent case, they told me if
it wasn't better I would have to see my primary doctor and all I could
think of was "if I could get an appt, I would!" I just switched to a
different doctor at another clinic. You need to be able to get in to see
doctors when you're sick, otherwise, what is the point of having a
    primary doctor?

  • I met with Belinda reguraly for visit at her office. She was easy to talk to and her staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Belinda made sure to answer every question on concern I might have. I felt very comfortable with her and knew that my home birth experience was going to be wonderful. I have actually had a total of 4 home births but Belinda we my midwife for the last 2. All of my preganies were normal and I had no complications. I was 5'4'' 30years old at the time and weighed 150 lbs at the hight of the pregnancy. So a petite pregnant woman! I went into labor with my son mid morning after going to the local chiropractor for my usual weekly adjustment to maintian a healthy pregancy. I noticiced labor pains begin around 10am and I told my office that I would not be back after lunch becuase I was going to have a baby. sure enough I went home and my son was born at 3:30pm. My last pregancy went with out a hitch as well. I began to feel labor pains mid morning during Sunday worship we had lunch and I told my husband to head home and call Belinda. She was on her way and got to my home right as my water broke and my son was not far behind. the only difference was I had to work a little harder to get this one out because he was an 8lb baby and my other 2 were only 6lbs. She stayed with us most of the evening and prepared an herbal bath for me as we as help make sure the baby was latched on and nursing correctly! both births we very spiritual and wonderful experiences for my whole family. I would not have done anything different. I would Highly recommend Belinda if you are looking for a midwife and would like to do a home birth.

  • We are really happy with Building Blocks. It is expensive, but I think what they charge per week is a fair price
for a commercial daycare. It is going to be more expensive than in-home
daycare. They take very good care of our baby. They keep me informed if
she is not feeling well, and I can drop in anytime to visit during the
day. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We love it!

  • I came here with foot pain and left here with foot pain. This is a general medecine insitution, if your feet are really a problem, then I suggest going to an actual foot specialist. At least th staff was very curteous, but the wait time was hideous. I was waiting in my room maybe 45 minutes before te doc showed up.
