    PRO NAILS
I tried several and I like this one by far the best and I have a regular appointment every month now. Actually it is supposed to be right now but we are in a blizzard and so I cancelled it. I will use them as soon as I can get down there.

    ANANI SALON & SPA
I have gone to this salon since they have opened. I like the atmosphere. They have a clean salon and they are very professional. The salon has lots of services, parking, and flexible hours. They do a great job.

    A+ Nails
A+ nails do pedicures, nails, waxing. They have very good technicians in the salon. And they are very good at ensuring that they are providing a good service. They ask a lot - how is the shape of the nail, do you like this color. If you don't like the color they've put on, they are happy to switch it over. They do excellent pedicures. They probably, on my experience, are one of the best in town. They give good refreshments. They're very conversant, enjoy getting to know their customers. And create a fine atmosphere to be in.

    REGAL NAILS
I have been going to this store for years, and I have always been happy with their work!  I have been to other nail salons, and I've never had a better experience than I have here.  The girls are always nice, and even when they are busy I rarely have to wait.

    TIPS & TOES SALON
I thought they were great.  I will definitely go back.  The manicure and pedicure was $25 each.

    Emma's Nails
There were many mothers and daughters there getting their nails done. It was great watching the staff interact with the children. They also did a great job with me. My feet are soft and smooth. The leg and foot massage was wonderful. My nails look great! I will certainly go back there again.

    FOXY NAILS & TAN
We were waited on promptly, even before our appointment time.  The facility was clean and the employees were very professional.  Many times I have gone into similar salons and the employees would talk to each other instead of concentrating on their customer and the quality of work that was being delivered.  This did not happen at Foxy Nails.  The young man (Jake) who did my pedicure/manicure was a perfectionist and paid very close attention to the job he was doing.  I did not feel rushed or under-appreciated.   I also noticed that good hygienic practices were being followed.   Used instruments were promptly cleaned. I especially appreciated the respect and care that was shown to my mother.  The young man who did her nails was very careful in helping her up and get to the places in the salon she needed to be.   When I am back in Lexington and need a pedicure or manicure, I will go back to Foxy Nails and request Jake! Given the quality of service and the price, $125.00 for two pedis/manis, I would definitely recommend this salon.

    TRULY NAILS
My 14 year old daughter & I decided to get pedicures on her birthday.  I don't usually get my nails done, so I looked up a nail salon on Angie's List & we just showed up at Truly Nails because their website said they took walk ins.  It was a Saturday so they were very busy.  However, they said for us to wait.  I can't remember exactly how long the wait was, but I would guess maybe 30 minutes.  The only problem I had with the salon was that it smelled strongly of nail chemicals (maybe need better ventilation), so I actually went outside one time to get some fresh air.  By the time we were ready to get our nails done, the smell did not bother me any more.  My daughter & I had chairs right beside each other...big comfy reclinining massage chairs with controls that we were in charge of.  They had probably 10 of these chairs & more than half were being used.  There was a big screen flat TV playing the Masters Golf Tournament with the volume either low or not on at all.  Our pedicurists soaked our feet, scrubbed our heels with a pumice stone & trimmed our cuticles.  We also received a foot & calf massage...very relaxing.  They painted our toes & offered to paint on a flower or stripes.  My daughter said yes to the flower (& an added gem on each) & convinced me that I should get one too.  They hand painted our flowers, very pretty, probably not something I would get again...I didn't realize they were an additional charge either.  We then sat at a table that had special lighting that dried our toes.  The pedicurist came over to me, gave me a 15 second shoulder rub, told me how much our services cost & asked how I would be paying today.  I said with a credit card & she said, "do you have a check?".  I said no, but that I could probably pay with cash, which I did.  I checked their website and it didn't say cash or check only...this would have been nice to know ahead of time.  Perhaps they actually could have taken a credit card, but discourage it because of the interchange fees. Overall, a nice time with my daughter.  Only cons were the lack of ventilation, a bit of a language barrier, & not knowing ahead of time that they wanted cash or check payment.  The pros were great "spa" chair with massager, nice results (over 2 weeks & still looks good), good price, close to my home, able to get in without an appointment.  I would go again, probably at a less busy time (weekday?).
