    Konstruct Pros LLC
We contacted numerous contractors, some with absolutely no response before we found Mike with Konstruct Pros. He was very open to our idea and was sitting in our kitchen the very next day to discuss our project. Mike was very informative and knowledgeable in every aspect of the job. He had submitted a formal bid within a week of our meeting and we already new we were going to hire him just based on his professionalism and personality. We had discussed the idea of a wet bar in our new family room with other contractors who told us lots of ways that it couldn't be done. Mike showed us the one way that it could be done. The Konstruct Pros staff were wonderful people to work with who really seemed to care about our property. The carpet was covered and the site well maintained throughout the entire process. We could not be happier with the completed product, from the framing, right down to the impeccable trim and finish work! We absolutely love our new finished basement (with wet bar) and my wife and I highly recommend Konstruct Pros for any construction project!

Very pleased with their service. We had a great experience with Renee (show room person) and that great experience carried into the measurement and installization of the quartz for our kitchen countertops.

    Paragon Painting
The entire process went great. Paragon was very responsive during the Proposal phase and made excellent recommendations which helped us meet our budget. They showed up on-time and completed the project ahead of schedule and on budget. They did an excellent job of painting several rooms and one ceiling in the townhouse. They cleaned up after they had completed the project. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Daughenbaugh Construction & Restoration
We had a dishwasher leak in our kitchen and Dave was referred to us by a family friend. What we thought was going to be an easy fix Dave uncovered the fact that this had been happening for sometime. Also stated he had just done one exactly like this. Our house was built in the 60's so there was a little un levelness in our kitchen. So because we could only see a little spot in the basement. Did not mean that the water had traveled all the way across our whole kitchen and was stuck in between multiple layers of flooring growing mold that we could not see. YUCK.
Dave advised us to contact our insurance company and there adjuster and that he would like to personally meet him here at our home.
Dave's recommendation was that the entire kitchen flooring ,plywood, and all of our cabinetry would have to be removed to open up the areas that had the mold to be able to remove it.
At first we were scared thinking Isn't there another way. An easier way of which there was not.
Dave met with our adjuster and to our surprise the adjuster agreed with Dave. Dave uses the same software as our insurance company does to write a claim so he even wrote the whole claim for the adjuster.
My next worry was that ahh great I have a $1,200 deductible that I am going to have to pay. Dave payed the deductible and we were ecstatic.
From the time of demolition start to the last day Dave was amazing. He went to Lowes with us at night to pick out all of our cabinetry, counter tops, floors, trim, paint, everything. We really appreciated that as our house was older and we knew Dave was more educated in the new modern touch's we wanted to bring into our new kitchen.
We went from old Oak cabinets to a beautiful dark mahogany that just has a wow factor. New double deep stainless steal sink that we just love with a touch controlled faucet.
We put linoleum back down as it was what we had and between us all we agreed that a new tile/ stone look would accentuate our new cabinets perfectly and it does.
There was an ordering issue with our flooring that pushed us back a week that we were not extremely excited about because we were still living in our home and it's just stressful having everything being re-done is just a lot .Either a technical error/ salesmen error Dave says what can I do to make you guy's happy i'm extremely sorry about the delay? Before we could say hey stuff happens no biggie he say's how's about I put new carpet in your living room this week while we are waiting on the linoleum out my my pocket? We both said no Dave you don't have to do that of which he refused and stated the carpet was old and he wanted from the front door to the kitchen brand new before he was gone and sure enough it was.

Dave is grateful guy that cares . He has a great bunch of men that work for him that also care.
. When you ask about his job site foreman you'll be in for a laugh because it is him.

    Pat Edwards Remodeling
The only somewhat negative thing to say about Pat is that he can be hard to get a hold of before your project gets started. Once he's on the job he's there reliably and is better about answering messages while the project is on-going. So don't be put off if it seems like he's ignoring you initially. He's probably just busy and it's definitely worth the inconvenience to get him to do your project.
Pat and his son did most of the work other than the major plumbing and electric work and the installation of shower glass. They were very professional, as were the people they brought in. Remodeling a master bath is pretty disruptive, and they did a good job of cleaning up every day and minimizing the impact.
The project took about 2 weeks, not counting the time we spent waiting for shower glass to be made and installed. This has to happen last after everything else is complete so that the measurements are spot on.
We couldn't be happier with the results. Some of the work exposed areas of textured drywall in the ceiling that had to be patched. The patch looked pretty bad until Pat brought in a guy who could only be called a drywall artist. He re-textured the disrupted areas and the result is incredible.
On top of all this, Pat's pricing is extremely reasonable. We had estimates from other contractors for 50% more than what we paid him. He also let us do some of the work ourselves to save money, something other contractors balked at - as though this were their home and not ours.
Last but not least, Pat and his son Taylor are delightful to work with. They are very personable and easy-going. They are welcome back in our home anytime.

    Mid States Carpenters Group Corporation
He made a trip to store every time he needed something. Wasn't smart enough to make a list for the day. Of course, he needed to be paid for his time. Told him he wasted his time and my money. I received 2-3 more attempts to let him do it for me. Asked how culpable he thought I was. This is what I want done. His business removed from Angies list and my letter posted for everyone to see. I intend to take him to small claims court for $5000. I'm 75 years old and it's all I can do to keep from reporting it to the t.v. news. It's not like I have money to burn. I feel you should have checked his work ethics more thoroughly. I bought his services through an Angie's List special. $500 work for $250. I was only going to use him to update my previous home which he might have been capable of doing but an opportunity to buy a house closer to my children came up and it had too many problems for him to efficiently handle. All he saw was an older lady with money to spend. I have witnesses for most of the major occurrences. He also made several derogatory remarks about my movers through 2 men and truck which were totally false. I would hire definitely hire them again. I would appreciate anything you can do to rectify this major problem. Feel free to call me and discuss this before I take it to court.

    Scott's Home Renewal
Andy and his dad, Roger, were both great. They did fantastic work, and every single one of the trades that they hired out for did a phenomenal job. I stay home with children during the day, so having a bunch of different people in your home at different times, sometimes all day, can be daunting. I honestly did not feel that way at all. Each of the people they brought in for the work were professional, kind and punctual. We are extremely happy with the way our basement turned out and would not change anything about it. Especially the decision we made in choosing Andy and Roger. Thank you both!!

    Premier Construction Services
The addition went well and we were in after about 7 weeks - it would have been sooner but there were some weather issues (of course).  The remodeling section went OK, but there were a few hiccups.  Adam and his crew were great and friendly, but some of the subcontractors he uses were not giving us the time and attention that we felt we deserved with a project this size.  There were a few times where we had Adam call them back in so they could get it right.  The drywallers left CRAZY messes (mostly from our popcorn ceilings being scraped but seriously, we are trying to live there), and the electricians would come, leave, come back a couple of days or week later, leave again - just never getting the thing done. One part involving the video lines was drug on for over a month while work went on around it.
When it came to the interior finish, which is Premier's crew, they were awesome.  We love the look of the remodel and our new kitchen is amazing.  The workers, Mike, Jessie, Curt, and Tim did great and they finished everything in a timely manner.  My kids felt totally fine around them and they would take time to chat with my family and pet the dogs.
We did have some miscommunications at the end with some punch list items but those were resolved eventually.  However, during the whole process, Adam was always available via email, text, or phone.
Even with the subcontractor issues I described, I would not hesitate to use Premier again and I have referred a couple of coworkers and friends to them.  This was a very large project and now that we are all done and have been living in it for a few months, we LOVE it.  We get many compliments from friends and family.  Honestly, we wish we would have done this years ago...  :)
I have given Adam permission to use us as a reference and please feel free to ask him for it and call if we can help give you more information.

    deWit Construction & Remodeling
deWit Construction & Remodeling went well above and beyond my wife's and my expectations!
We had spent countless hours designing our large custom home addition that consisted of vaulted upper level ceilings, 3 bedrooms (2 guest and 1 master with a large walk-in closet), 3 bathrooms with custom showers, 2 offices, 1 huge 'Great Room', 1 large entry / mud room, 1 storage room, and 1 large 3-car garage. We then decided that we wanted to do much of the work
ourselves, taking on the responsibility of General Contractor for the project, and hiring sub-contractors to complete segments of the project that we weren't equipped to handle on our own.
To say this was a massive undertaking would be a gross understatement. Locating quality sub-contractors was one very tall hurdle that we hadn't taken into consideration during the planning phase. We found that they were few and far between, that many we were able to locate wanted to charge an arm-and-leg for 'custom' work (well outside of our budget), and that some were straight up unreliable and deceitful.
Our previous framing sub-contractor had left a bitter taste with us, so we practiced great diligence in selecting our next. (Note: Long story short, we had to take our previous framing sub-contractor to court in order to recover our down payment due to zero work being completed and multiple promises broken and deadlines missed.) We were pleasantly surprised when we met and spoke with Neil deWit about our project and desires for the work that his crew would be preforming. Neil was very professional in taking the time to listen to and talk with us about the project layout, time-frame and budget, etc. Once we chose to go with deWit C & R, it wasn't long before his crew was onsite and working. We couldn't have asked for nicer, professional guys to have working on our property. We didn't notice any yelling or profanity. They always dressed well and their equipment was always clean and well maintained, and put away at the end of the day. Oh, and their craftsmanship was second to none.
Earlier we mentioned some homeowner design flaws that deWit C & R encountered; well they tackled them head on and found creative ways to make everything work. Most 1st level wall studs had to be individually measured and cut due to fluctuations in the concrete foundation and floor. Wall, door and window locations and dimensions had to be altered in order to make our design work without drastically changing our initial layout. Everything was communicated with us very well by the head carpenter on the project and Neil, and we were involved in all major change decisions. It was awesome to see our project being fleshed out in front of our very eyes and knowing that it was being built with such great quality craftsmanship.
We wanted to roof the existing structure and the addition at  the same time, so as soon as the deWit C & R crew had finished nailing down the roof sheeting, we went to work on removing the worn out shingles from the existing roof. We had an old dump truck that was on its last leg, which we began using for catching the old shingles. We could barely get and keep it running. The next morning, the deWit C & R head carpenter show up pulling one of their nice dump trailers and asked me if we wanted to use it at no extra charge. We were blown away!
We couldn?t be happier with how things turned out.  We officially have our dream home and we owe a ton of credit to deWit Construction and Remodeling! We honestly don?t think we could have completed it without their experience, professionalism and willingness to work with us within our budget. There isn?t a single design modification that we are unhappy with, and the structure is super straight, solid, quiet and water tight.
We can?t say enough good things about deWit Construction and Remodeling. We?re happy to drop their name anytime we learn of an upcoming local project.

    Scott's Home Renewal
Mr. Scott did a nice job. The finished product looked great. He was timely in returning calls and it only took 2 weeks for him to begin work from the time I agreed to use his services, this project took 2 partial days to complete.

The only thing I can say that he could improve upon was his method of clean up, in the fact that there was none. I didn't expect him to leave the room he completed the work in spotless, however a quick swipe off of counters and shop-vac to the floor couldn't have hurt.
