AIt's a wonderful place. The staff is very good and the owner understand dogs very well. My dog just can't wait to get there. She gets very excited. They have an area to drop off our dogs and there is a pick up area where we can pick them up. When we drive in, there will be somebody waiting at the drop off area. They take her in and pet her and they have a play period where they put these dogs together and put them in groups. They take these dogs in groups outside to play for sometime. They have different rates for different things like grooming, nail trimming and bathing. They have a punch card for 10 !/2 days. So we take her every Wednesday for 4 hours and get a punch on our card. So, we can take her for 10 days with that card. They are very accommodating and convenient. When we went there to sign up our dog, we had to take an appointment first and then the owner personally met with us to check on our dog and see which group of dogs she will fit in. After that, she took us on a tour to show us all the facilities and the dogs.

APets Allowed is a great service provider. They really care about the pets they are boarding here, and it's apparent that all the employees are dog lovers. Our dog is actually excited to be dropped off here, as she knows she will be well cared for.

BMy parents use them so I started using them. It was a father and daughter clinic. He is retired now so she does it all. They are not very good with dogs that don't want to get their nails clipped. It was kind of a stressful situation for one of my dogs. Their prices are really good.

AI have taken my two, big dogs to Donna at Yuppy Puppy a few times now, and I have never been disappointed. She treats my puppies like her own. I usually bathe my dogs at home, but when I'm harried getting the house ready for visitors, I am happy to bring them here, and she always does a much better job. I have one skiddish dog who is happy to visit Donna. She is professional and does a thorough job. While she doesn't have appointments every day, but she is easy to work with in scheduling.

FI have been using this vet since I moved to the Quad Cities, approximately 15 years ago. I went in to purchase prescription cat food. The woman behind the counter made a snarky remark about my going to another provider to get vaccinations. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about as I have not taken my pets to any other vet. I then paid for my cat food. At that point she REFUSED to help me carry the food out to my car. I ended up having to drag it through the snow and ice. I wanted to ask for my money back but my animals were low on food and I didn't want them to run out. If the staff treats the pet owners this way just think about how they treat the pets when the owners aren't there. This staff member is not someone I know, and in the past I have always found the staff to be helpful and compassionate. I think maybe she thought I was someone else but that is still no reason to treat someone that way. Because of this incident I plan to switch my pets care to a different provider.

BWe take our dog to Dr. Sandeman and have had a great experience with him. Early on, we saw Dr. Flickinger but she didn't come across as extremely knowledgeable to me (I asked what to feed our new puppy and she told us just to use the measurement on the back of the bag which I knew was too much for my dog's breed and too much in general since they want to sell more dog food) so we switched to Dr. Sandeman. Our dog gets great care, it is a bit pricey though and they are very reluctant to give advice over the phone, they always want to schedule an appointment and do a physical exam which gets expensive.
The staff is very friendly but the office does have a problem with timeliness. I usually have to wait a minimum of 20 minutes after my appointed time for them to see my dog. I do think my dog gets excellent care, though, so I will be back and I would recommend their veterinary services.

So when we moved and inherited a little dog we sought out a home groomer because we prefer this mode of grooming in lieu of taking our dog to a location outside the home. Audry did an excellent job with our pet. She was on time. She brought all her equipment with her. She developed a relationship with our dog and made her comfortable before getting started. AShenandoah Animal HospitalIt's an older building and not that clean. I watched them though and they had everything sterile and she wiped everything down after each dog was up there. He was good about explaining everything and making sure I knew what was going on. We made an appointment to get them groomed, as well. I've been back there since then with both my cats. I would recommend them to others. They were very genuine and asked questions and wanted to get to know you as a client. They made you feel comfortable.- Candance P.

ACRITTER CLIPPERSJanna has been grooming our dogs for a couple of years now. We had been loyal to our old groomer, but started to notice the price was creeping up and we weren't very happy with the service provided. Janna is always friendly and takes great care of our dogs. She does a great job clipping them and making them look beautiful. We also appreciate that she takes the time to comfort one of our dogs who has severe separation anxiety and fear of strangers. She doesn't do anything with bows or bandanas, but we are always happy with the quality of work and the price.- Sarah T.
