Did a great job! Project completed on time and within budget.  Communicated what would happen and when and followed through.  Replaced kitchen cabinets, flooring in 3 rooms, replaced tub & surround, toilet & vanity, installed lighting, did the plumbing and electrical that was needed. He was conscientious about the little details.  Left the job clean and in good order.

Still having problems.  Job was never actually completed.  We bought the house before the job was completed, so seller paid Little Daddy's to complete the job so we could close the sale of the house.
Little Daddy never returned to the property to complete the job.
When I called them, was told the previous owner hired them and paid them so they must have been satisfied with the job, so if I wanted the job finished I would have to "hire" them and pay them too.

The ONLY good thing I have to say is that Anthony Christner is a very nice man.  However, his crew does only the roofing and he sub-contracts out the rest.  He left my house under the "supervision" of a 22 yr boy.  I did tell Anthony early on how unhappy I was with what was going on...advised him that I was unhappy and his response was that "he's young."  He doesn't visit the construction site and has no team leader.  It was one of the worse experiences I have ever had in my 60 plus years.  Not once, but more like 10 times I was told that a crew would be at my house by 8 AM, only to have them not show up at all.  All knew that I had cats that I had to catch and put in an extra bedroom before they arrived.  My cats aren't stupid and I was having to get up at 5 AM, close them up, move their food, litter pans, etc.  I am disabled and this was very h****** me.  Once I was told that they were going to work on the bedroom they were closed up in and another room on that side of my house.  So, I put them in my bedroom.  All of my pets are rescues and are very frightened of strangers as they had been extremely abused. ( Anthony knew my cats were my priority before he took the job ).  When they arrived Dakota ( 22 yrs) said a change in plans and I had to move my cats.  They were so frightened that they were scrunched under the shoe rack in my closet, absolutely terrified.  I told him no.  He continued to insist that I pull them out ( if I had I would have been scratched, etc and I wouldn't put them through it anyway ).  He kept coming back into the room after I had repeatedly told him not to as it terrified them.  I even moved a piece of furniture in front of the door to keep him out.  He pushed the door open anyway.  I e-mailed his office & told them.  I was called the "B" word, etc.  I could write an essay on what all happened here.  There was no communication.  When the flooring was finished in my laundry room on a Friday the washer was not hooked up to the water.  I was so disappointed as I had stripped my bed and it would have been 5 months since I was able to sleep in my own bed again.  I called and left msgs not only with Christner's but also with the sub-contractor for the flooring...I e-mailed...on Tuesday I hired someone else to hook up my machine & finish other things as Christner's ignored me.

This roofing job was part of a City of Ottumwa low interest loan. They picked him as the contractor. He arrived with his crew of 2 boys and a man. The job was to tear off the old roof completely,to replace the plywood, and to shingle the whole roof. After he set up the 2 boys and the man he left. He would pop in once in the morning and afternoon. He spent this time talking to another guy that we had working on the house at the same time. They did a section of roofting and we had a heck of a rain storm that night. I had water POURING into the dining room and kitchen dividing line. I told them specifically and showed them inside. It wasback u the part they did the day before. They assured me it was taken  care of. The roof was done in a couple of days. He said we could put some stuff from the garage in the dumptster that we were cleaning out. He came back three weeks later and said the charge for the dumpster was $80.00. I had no way to track that but thought that was ROBBERY!!!! They tore my satellite dish off the side of the house and I had to pay to have that put  back up by the satellite company to the tune of $90.00 and a 2 year contract with the satellite company. The City of Ottumwa signed off on the contract even though the gutters were not put on correctly and were missing in the front of the house. Gutters were put on the house that did not go anywhere. Water just ran off to space, not to the ground. The pitch of the gutters flowed backwards. The first rain storm the following Spring was a NIGHTMARE. We had remodeled the inside of 5 rooms, bath, bedroom, hall, dining room and kitchen. The roof leaked in the bedroom, hall, kitchen and dining room. It ruined the drywall, the paint and paper. I called Ehrenhard for weeks to come out and help us or fix it per the City of Ottumwa's suggestion and the Contract. He did not come out. Ehrenhard came out twice once with a hammer and some nails and once with once with a caulking gun. Then he said get ahold of his insurance company. We fought with  the City of Ottumwa for two years over the roof. They told Ehrenhard's insurance company fraudulant things and the insurance company reduced the settlement because of these fraudulant things. The City told me to get ahold of a plumber to make sure the roof was not leaking from the vent pipe. They recommended Alig Plumbing. In good faith, I contacted them. In hind sight, the City of Ottumwa, had contacted Alig plumbing and told them all about this case and told them what to say, that the vent pipe was the source of the leak, which was fraudulant.  So I am including Alig Plumbing in this report as a crooked contractor too. We finally had to get a lawyer against the City of Ottumwa who stood by Ehrenhard's faulty work. The City said they would never use him again for their contracts but they STILL DO. The INSURANCE INSPECTOR AND THE CITY INSPECTOR said that the CITY'S CLAIMS were fraudulant but would not give us the insurance money back and both said the CONTRACTOR did terrible work. It was his own insurance company that said that.
