    Hicklin Door Services
I purchased this as a discount deal for 60.00. I hadn't been able to get my door working properly for sometime. After explaining the problem to the tech, he immediately checked my sensors. He was unable to get the existing sensors to function correctly so he replaced the old sensors. This was done without extra cost. Nice to have my garage door functioning properly again and all for 60.00. He also did a checkup of all the parts and made unpressured recommendations. Good experience for me.

    Premier Construction Services
,We contacted Adam, owner and operator of Premier Construction, after purchasing a lakefront home that had a beautiful yard and views, but was outdated and not large enough for our family of 6.  We had read good reviews about Adam and his crew so decided to give him a call.
He arrived at the time he said he would and was very friendly and listened to what we envisioned  for our home.  He immediately had ideas and knew what would work and what wouldn't.  For example, I mentioned vaulted ceilings in the addition.  He explained that while possible, the look from the street would be odd since the original roof was low.  I appreciated that because I did not want something that looked out of place or didn't blend in with the existing home.
He listened and got back got to us in a timely manner with an estimate and computer drawings of what the addition would look like -eliminating the need for an architect.  His price was very fair and he tried hard to keep his price low.  For example, he reused 2 large existing windows, thus saving us from having to buy 2 additional windows.
He was very easy to work with and did not overcharge us for making a few changes along the way.
He also did work in the original part of the house- eliminating popcorn ceilings, changing all the doors and woodwork, tearing out an oversized fireplace, combining 2 bedrooms into one, tearing out the bulkhead in the kitchen, and adding a peak to the roof of the house for added curb appeal.
We were impressed by the people who worked for him.  They were quite skilled and did great work.  His foreman, Mike, was especially nice and made sure that everything was done right.
Overall, we are very pleased with Adam and Premier Construction and highly recommend them.  We would not hesitate to use them again.  Our house has reached its full potential now and we absolutely love the addition.  It is so beautiful and suits our needs perfectly!

    D & D Concrete
I called with approximate measurements and was told someone would come out to give me a estimate the next day. Never heard from him again. Disappointing. I understand he is busy, but I felt I deserved a phone call to reschedule. It seemed as though I was bothering him on phone like wanting to pay him money for a service was a problem. I guess he already has enough business?

Update: I saw the update from Don. He said he called to reschedule but either my phone neglected to notify me of an incoming call and the subsequent missed call or he never called. Also on the afternoon of 9/19/14 (when a simple estimate was to take place) it was bright and sunny. It was not raining, and it certainly was not raining very hard. Despite his response which may or may not be true I called back anyways on 9/30/14 around 12pm. He told me he would call me back in an hour or so since he was in the middle of a job. As of 10/8/14 I have no missed called from him. The sad part is Don is not the only concrete contractor who can't show up or call back because I still need concrete work done.

    Paragon Concrete
Paragon Concrete was contracted directly to put in a large 40 ft X 30 ft patio.  Being the best in town they are swamped for several months, but have several subcontracting teams took on my job immediately.  The subcontractor that Troy assigned to my job had over 20 years of experience and his team was top notch! Being a concrete man myself back in the day, I was very detailed about how I wanted the concrete poured and the exact specifications. I want to let you know that Troy paid attention to every single detail that I wanted, and addressed all of my concerns.  He ov  Great communication skills and if Troy is busy he calls you right back if you have a concern.   I really don't think you will ever find a better concrete service in town.  We ran several quotes and they came in very competitively, slightly lower then the competition.  100% satisfied and I wouldn't hesistate to use them in the future, expecially if I have a large project that needs to be tacked.... A+++ guys, I really thought quality concrete was a thing of the past.

    Breezy Hill Pole Barns
Breezy Hill subcontracted the build out. We were promised a one week construction phase timeline. It actually lasted 2.5 months despite multiple calls to the owner from us concerning the process. Excuses were made, but nothing done to move the contractor along- if anything he moved even slower. One day the only thing we could see completed was one shutter hung. Very frustrating. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Decorative Concrete and Colors
It was the poorest job I've ever seen. I need it torn out and replaced. Everything that he said that he would do he did not. It was opposite from what it was. About the only thing that came out right is the color. The driveway portion is marred and scarred and there's footprints throughout. He didn't put any expansion joints in. The patio is in the same shape-- marring, scarring, footprints, no expansion joints, etc. He also put footings that, by code, should be 42 inches deep, but he only put them 36 inches deep. This will not pass code. I can't put a roof in now over the driveway and attach it to the house because the footings do not meet code. He said that what he did was exactly what I wanted and that the footings are 42 inches deep (but I measured them), and that I may have some cosmetic issues with it, but he built it bulletproof. I already have three cracks in it and it's only been in since October.

Went well. We had to have them come back to replace the trim that warped. Lights burned out in first two months of use on new garage opener we purchased from them.
