It went great - there have been 2 follow up visits that have been thorough with very open communication.

. I first saw my regular doc, tried rest, anti-inflamitories, and I was just never the same. I went back and he sent me physical therapy, that help minimally. We tried a different medication with the PT and my therapist felt pain mgmt injections might be a better solution. She worked with my regular doc and recommend Dr. Ledet. I got in a few weeks after we called. His staff was thorough, and he was engaged and interest. He recommended an injection and performed it that day. I was given clear instructions after and scheduled a follow up. The injection did not help as much as we hoped, but helped a little so we decided to schedule another four weeks after. Went back in with little improvement, but I was not ready to go a more invasive route, and Dr. Ledet was awesome about not pushing something we could not sure would help. It was my decision, but he was realistic about the situation. Right now I'm doing my own thing and if I want to get back in for other options, I'm open to call. Now that I'm a patient I do not need a referral. Very happy with this practice.

Everything has gone well. The migraines I have used to be so severe I hardly ever left the house. I now am almost free of them between rhisotomies (the medical term for denervations.) I am so glad my neurologist recommended I go to Dr Iqbal. It is one of the smartest things I have ever done. I will be very sad when he retires.

    DAN BALDI
Dr. Baldi is an exceptional doctor. I went to him because I suffer from chronic lower back pain. He began by taking a conservative route involving anti-inflammatory meds. When that did not work, he tried other options until we finally found something that would give me some relief from my back pain.

Every visit, you fill out a form on how your pain is and how your current medications are treating your pain. I honestly do not know why as the form is never looked at.  Being a patient with a chronic pain syndrome is in no way fun. Unfortunately, I feel like the staff is overworked and completely forget they are treating people to help improve their quality of life. Twice now, I have ran out of a medication while waiting for them to file insurance properly, and it often requires my calling back to get people moving.  I have an appointment again tomorrow and I hope to bring new ideas and questions about things to try to help with pain. If not, the next referral is a two hour drive I won't have a way to get to.
