    In order to be fair, I would have to break my review down between sales and installation. The installation portion was phenominal! Punctual, kind, professional and we are more than pleased with the service we received. However, we nearly declined their estimate because of my experience with the salesman. He completely missed our first appointment after I had gone into work late in order to meet him. After waiting fifteen minutes, I called him and he told me he couldn't read his own handwriting, was still at the office and asked if he could reschedule, which meant I had to miss more work. The second time we had an appointment he was a few minutes late, but took a fifteen minute personal phone call in the middle of our appointment. I excused myself so that he could have some privacy and thought the entire situation was extremely unprofessional. We had previously used Foster's for service and were always pleased so we ended up going with them purely on our previous experiences with their service.

We knew our unit was reaching the end of its life and they came out and gave us a free quote for the new system and detailed out everything that needed to happen for us to keep our unit to code. We were able to get someone out to replace the unit within a week.

    They were very professional. They nicely ran the new duct work and cleaned up after themselves. The furnace room looked nicer than when they walked in. They explained why the air conditioner went out due to the relay it was running on not being correct. They were quick and efficient on the job!

    Customer service was excellent, especially the sales manager, Steve Thatcher. He found a solution that was much less expensive than other options we had previously considered. The technician was also great because he was on-time, courteous and explained what he was doing. They put plastic and carpet runs down throughout the area to protect our flooring and carpet.

    I know I'd never use them for any future service... They were hired by the sellers of my new home to inspect the HVAC system we thought may have some issues before we closed on the purchase. Someone was sent out, examined the system, and gave the furnace and the zone system the seal of approval. When we moved in exactly 2 months later, we noticed zones didn't seem to be working correctly. I thought it may be us not knowing how the new system worked, but eventually I had someone from the company that installed the HVAC 10 years before come look at it. I was right, 2 of the 4 dampers weren't working and had to be replaced. I called Colony to see if they would stand by there work and I was told, "Those dampers go out all the time." And when I did ask if they would do anything further they simply said, "Nope." Now, explain to me how dampers that had been working for 10 years (that apparently went out all the time) suddenly broke in the 2 months from when they checked it and I moved in...no one was living there. All I can say is proceed with caution.

    Overall, we liked working with them, and they did a proper job removing the old furnace and installing the new one. I'll keep working with them and see how it goes, so I may have to update my review in the upcoming months. I will have to have them coming to help me with my AC not starting - we couldn't check the AC when they installed the furnace because it was too cold outside, I suspect some issue with the wiring of the smart thermostat. They were supposed to change the furnace door that has a ssmall issue with the lower right corner and its attaching screw, but apparently they dropped the ball, don't know if they ever received a new door.
