    Gentle Dental

I called on Thursday and was able to get an appointment on Friday. The reception staff was friendly, but I was put off by the nose and facial piercings. The Hygienist was professional and described treatment for the appointment. The dentist, Dr. Vaddadi, spent less than 70 seconds consulting, after the hygienist had begun cleaning my teeth and did not bother to introduce himself to me. I won't be returning.

    Balster, Dr. Erik T
Dr. Balster and his staff were very friendly and interacted very well with my children. When we arrived we didn't wait long to be called back and get the visit started. The environment was very kid-friendly and the children were given toys to play with while Dr. Balster spoke with me. The length of the visit was great....time was used very effectively. We really enjoyed our first visit to this office and will continue to see Dr. Balster. Thank you!

    Gentle Dental
The reason i like them is that the previous dentist could not get me in for 3 days but they got me treated in a couple of hours. There several dentists there that work just perfect. I fired my own dentists and i had worked with them for years.

Excellent! We would both highly recommend both dentists at this location. Dr. Moothart performed my initial exam and cleaning followed by an appointment about a week later to fill one small cavity. My husband met both Dr. Moothart and Dr. Recker when he first went in for an emergency appointment, then had a cleaning by a hygienist. He has had 2 follow-up appointments for cavity fillings with Dr. Moothart. He is very friendly and is always explaining what he's doing. He was also very gentle as I have sensitive gums. Overall we are very pleased with this facility and would definitely recommend it.

    Walker, Dr. Todd M.
I have been seeing him since I turned 21. I have used him for 20 years. I like his personnel. I never had any issues talking to them. It is a small place. They are three people in there and they know me basis my first name.

    Rehak, Dr. Adrian P
Dr. Adrian P Rehak does really nice work. He is a very nice gentleman. They have a kind of state of the art equipment. I've always been really pleased and he actually follows through with a call to see if you are okay. They have massage and sometimes they do a manicure while you're getting your teeth checked.

    The Dental Center
Everything went well. I arrived early and the front desk handled all my paperwork quickly and gave me an update on my appointment. The waiting area is large with magazines, lots of chairs and a television. There is a bathroom handy as well.
I moved my business to this provider after having issues with another well known Cedar Rapids dentist who was somewhat rough and not very attentive to my concerns, specifically around teeth cleaning. The Dental Center has been great in that regard. They are very good at listening to my concerns or issues and accommodating them -- so much so I referred my grandparents to them and they come up from Iowa City!
I have now decided the firm is a and quot;keeperand quot;. They are efficient, professional and attentive enough to my needs that I feel comfortable with their services. Of the work I've had done beyond checkups and cleanings (mainly two cavities filled), I've been please with and my grandparents have been too. Given my dental coverage, I'm not sure on the pricing since my co-pays have been reasonable but I would have no reservations recommending their services.

Had tooth pain for the last three years near back molars. He never could find source of problem. He started at the back and ended up doing a crown, then about 6 months later a crown on the next tooth. He claimed that he couldnt replace the old fillings. That wasn't what dentist did anymore. Still in pain. I thought that he had xrayed all the teeth when I first complained. But apparently he did not. Alas the third tooth which had by now also had a crown, was found to be dying! After three years of pain the tooth was extracted and an implant by an oral surgeon. Meanwhile my insurance won't pay anymore and he is charging me to pay for the same tooth! I refused and he finally wrote it off. Still had to pay the oral surgeon. Now I have an implant and to teeth that have been ground off and crowned perhaps needlessly.

    Cedar Valley Family Dentistry
We moved to Cedar Rapids about eight months ago from a different state and my lifelong dentist is the only doctor that I could not replace. I traveled back in July for my routine cleaning and told my dentist that I had a problem with a tooth. He said it was cracked and it was time to find a dentist here. Not knowing many people here, I went to the web to research a good local dentist and found Dr. Wilson. Her reviews on the web looked good. So, I thought I would try. I was impressed by the timing of it all. I was able to get into see her within a few days and had confirmation of my cracked tooth. We scheduled the procedures as it would take several weeks to accomplish. My initial consultation was just as the reviews prepared me. Everyone was very nice. The office was clean (sparkling clean) and I was starting to gain confidence in the knowledge and skill level. My second visit was the actual first procedure with taking out the filling, digging down into the tooth to remove decay, and finding that I needed a root canal and not just a crown. The technology Dr. Wilson uses is pretty high tech. And, although she explained that my tooth was difficult, she had a steady hand, a calming demeanor, and plenty of anesthesia to comfort me. Ashley assisted with the procedures and was equally as nice and easy to talk with. It was obvious that these two work well together and Ashley was always prepared with just the tool that Dr. Wilson needed. After the first root canal, the filling was put in place and a temporary crown was used. Then an assessment was made to grade my oral health for my gums and teeth overall. During the assessment, a second crack was found and another appointment scheduled for this procedure. As expected, the decay was down to the nerve again and a second root canal was performed. Although this was one week later than my original root canal, the crown was ordered to be delivered on the date of the first crown so that I did not need to take additional time off work. At my last visit, I returned to have both crowns put on. I am amazed at how real they look and how comfortable they feel in my mouth. The shading is perfect. I can honestly say that I have had a wonderful experience with this dentist office and have since referred my entire family. I like that the front desk staff know me when I walk in. I like that everyone is so nice. Most of all; I like that they seem to know what they are doing, they are good at their jobs, and they seem to enjoy what they do.
