    Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, even if it���s a big box store. The only positive from my experience with Star Appliance was the sales representative, Jim Owens, who is incredibly friendly and professional. The GE appliances are great, I was nearly well compensated for damage caused by their installers, however I am flabbergasted by the overwhelmingly poor experience provided by Pat Heser (Owner) and Shianna McKinney (Assistant Manager). Half of our six new appliances sustained damage during the initial delivery/install. The order consisted of a dishwasher, range, range hood, refrigerator, washer, and dryer, with a grand total of approximately $4,500. The refrigerator was scratched on both sides due to careless moving through our front entry door, with no attempt to use any moving blankets or other padding. Range drawer was damaged in the driveway when the installer attempted to reinstall, missing the tracks, and carelessly scraped it across the concrete. Hood had a substantial dent across ~25% of the right side face... Granted this could have been a manufacturer defect or the installer. One installer even smoked a cigarette a few feet from me, and disposed of the butt by dropping it on the driveway. The assistant manager, Shianna, was quite unprofessional in our email correspondence. It���s not my concern what her career plan is, but I would highly suggest formal customer service and/or management training. Poorly written email correspondence, with no business like form. Attempted to play word games to downplay the damage by saying ���After reviewing the damage on the refrigerator it appears the paint is rubbed off and not scratched.���. Even advising ���You would be able to transfer your food right away.���, which to me and the FDA is unacceptable for food safety. Was offered a replacement fridge or $100 in damage compensation, which equates to 7.3% of the $1,369 purchase price, with no willingness to negotiate and told ���The $100 was approved by the GE ASM and not us���. Never offered damage compensation for the range or hood, only replacement units or refund. I opted to receive three new replacement units, which were delivered by the owner, Pat Heser, along with another delivery person. He was kind enough to accomodate an after hours delivery so I would not miss a second work day. During the second delivery, I immediately noticed the range and fridge lacked their shipping boxes. The hood was boxed and appeared new. Questioning Pat, he assured they were unboxed just prior to delivery because he wanted to inspect for damage ahead of time. The range appeared clean, with all tape, protective film, and packaging material in place, just no cardboard. The refrigerator however did not appear to be freshly unboxed, lacking all packing material and protective film. I inspected the fridge again in a sunlit driveway, finding a scratched outside door handle, two heavily scratched interior drawers, missing drawer divider, and a thick layer of dust on the top. Questioning the condition again, Pat stated it was a new unit. I pointed out all the concerns, stated I don���t believe this is a new and freshly unboxed unit, and requested he look me in the eye and tell me this is a new unit. He then admitted it was a floor display unit. Attempting to pass a display unit as brand new and freshly unboxed is deceitful, a lie, and frankly I feel like he attempted this to ���stick it to me���. In my sales, customer service, and management positions, I have never lied to a customer or attempted to provide products that were less than advertised. Additionally, Pat���s true personality came out during delivery. Making two concerning comments. First while discussing how the original hood could have been damaged, he remarked something to the affect of ���It would be nice if the Mexicans would take more care in their work���, referring to the GE manufacturing employees. Considering my wife is largely Hispanic, she was quite offended. Secondly, during our discussion in the driveway over damage compensation, he stated ���I���m not able to choose who comes through our door���, which was in the context of not choosing to do business with me. Pat did eventually apologize for the attempted deceit from bringing a display unit, but also explained he���s done it before without problem and that it���s common in the industry. Perhaps, but that doesn���t make it right. In the end I was declined any compensation for our time and hassle, and was told ���We understand your time is valuable and so is ours���. We received a replacement range and hood during an after hours delivery, plus damage compensation for the fridge in the amount of $250+tax, and a bottle of touch up paint.

    Lempe's arrived on time, quickly identified the problem (required a part to be replaced), and scheduled an appointment for the repair once the part came in. They were able to get the part in earlier than planned and I was able to arrange an earlier time for the repair that fit both our schedules better. Repairman showed up right on time and quickly repaired the dryer. These guys were top notch and I'll hire them again next time there's an issue with any of my appliances.

    The parts needed to be ordered but came in a couple of days and they returned to install the new parts. This is the second time I have used Brandis Appliance and they have been excellent both times. 
    I would highly recommend  them for anyone needing appliance repair.
