    The 1 star is by default since there is no way to mark none. 6 months ago I waited in their customer area for 3 1/2 hours for an oil change, first car in line, that seem like a long time I didn't say anything and brushed it off as they were having a bad day Few days a go it was time for another oil change so this time I asked a friend to pick me up so I wouldn't sit there waiting. Well their previously assumed bad day got worse. ..after 3 hours I called them to know if my car was ready. .they couldn't tell me on the phone that someone would call me within 15 minutes to answer my question. I finally gave up after 45 minutes of not having anyone call me. Had a ride to drive me car was ready over 2 hours ago. The service rep said he left me a message...of course after giving them my phone number they manage to call a number I never had. To add the final touch...they misplaced my keys, they finally found them. The entire process from dropping my vehicle (again first car in for service) 4 1/2 hour I concluded that's how to do business....really!?!? They don't give a sh*t about their customers I'll never buy a car from them again and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

    I feel I was overcharged for the services performed.�� I also felt that they found a lot of things "wrong" with my pretty well-maintained vehicle.�� Here was their list of recommendations:

    Ignition system service

    strut mount & bearing replacement

    engine coolant service

    battery is due for replacement

    brake fluid replacement

    air filter is due for service

    interior cabin filter needs to be replaced

    4x4 gear oil service

    When I questioned them about the possibility of being overcharged for the oil change, they claimed I wasn't overcharged.�� Angie's List stated that if I mentioned I found Westside Auto on Angie's list that I would receive a $20 discount.������ Not so sure I found that discount.�� I saw it listed on the bill, but I'm not sure I received the discount.

    Charles Gabus Ford
    I was having my car serviced at a nearby Auto Body shop, and I decided to rent a car from Charles Gabus Ford. I arrived and was directed to the rental desk where a nice man asked if he could help me. I said, and I quote " My car's in the shop, so I need a rental until Monday." The man gave me the forms, talked me through them and asked for my drivers license and credit card. He then presented me with the Rental Agreement (covering 5 days), went over the cost, offered me additional insurance, and had me sign the agreement. He then showed me to the car, and gave me the keys. I left the rental car there while I dropped my car off at the Body Shop.
    A short time later a woman called from Charles Gabus Ford asking why I left the rental car there, and was I still planning to use it. I explained that I was dropping my car off for service and would be back soon to collect the rental car.
    Monday morning I learned that my car wasn't finished at the Body Shop, so I called Charles Gabus Ford to extend the rental for two additional days. The woman helping me with the rental said it would be no problem to extend for two days, but she informed me that since my car was not being serviced at Charles Gabus Ford, the price would be $34 per day not the 22.50 on the rental agreement. I agreed that I would like to extend the rental. That evening on my way home from work I stopped by the Charles Gabus Ford rental desk and spoke with the woman again. i asked her to clarify if I needed to pay the higher rate for the two extra days, or for the entire week. She said it would be the entire week. I protested that I had a signed rental contract in my hand, with the agreed upon price, nowhere on the Rental Agreement does it specify anything about having my personal car serviced. She replied that I told the man I rented from I was having my car serviced at Charles Gabus Ford. I replied that I said only that my car was in the shop, I did not mention, nor was I asked which shop. I asked for her pardon, and could I please have the price on my contract, but she said I could not. I mentioned that the company I work for buys all our fleet vehicles at Charles Gabus Ford, and could I please have consideration. She said I could not. 
    I left feeling very dissatisfied that I am being forced to pay more than the rate on my contract.

    Ace Body And Motor
    I was concerned there was a serious problem.  Jason at Ace researched in great detail and called me with possible options to pursue.  We agreed upon a course of action.  While it has not immediately solved the ticking, Jason assured me there is not a serious problem in the engine.  He provided an engine cleaning treatment, topped off the transmission fluid, and did a fuel system cleaning as well.  Previously Ace replaced the exhaust on my truck as well.  They are extremely friendly and the shuttle service is a great benefit.

    We discovered a problem with my son's car 3 days before he had to go back to school. J Town was able to work us in; gave a reasonable estimate, completed repairs within 24 hours for the estimated amount and got my son's car safely back on the road. I have had other work done by these guys with the same excellent results, I absolutely trust them. You can't own a used (out of warranty) vehicle without a good mechanic on your speed dial, these guys are the real deal.

    I think the price is really reasonable and the service is really good. We found they are better than other dealers we have used. They got right back to us. I would recommend their services without hesitation.

    Shade Tree Auto was OK. They were nice but I don't know if I can recommend them because I went in for an oil change and to get my tires rotated and after an hour an a half I finally went and found somebody and said if it was done yet, and he said yeah, we are almost done and I was the only person in there. Shade Tree Auto were nice enough when I got there but it seemed like they weren't anybody who stayed out front, this guy was in and out. They charged more than I thought it was going to be and that's for oil changing and tire rotation. It was rotating my tires, balancing them, they did not align them and they changed the oil, that was it. They did the oil change and it seemed like a good job but it took forever and there wasn't anybody out there. I had a hard time finding somebody to tell me if my car was finished or not. Lack of personal attention for sure.

    Trevor and crew are great to work with....they take on anything I bring them, and will tell me honestly when I DON'T need to spend money on our vehicles. They know I keep my cars forever, then pass them on to our kids, so they do the maintenance required to keep them all running for a long time, but are hesitant to do more than is necessary to keep the cars reliable and safe.

    Oil change went perfectly (like always). They checked the error code but didn't have the equipment to determine the exact cause (catalytic converter or oxygen sensor). The dealer is the only one with that equipment. They reset the code, drove it around to try to get the light to come on, but it wouldn't. Nice - since they couldn't come up with a solution, they didn't charge me for the diagnostic (normally $75 or more) and just charged me for the service to clean the sensors. Johnston Freedom Tire has always been very professional and they really do take care of their regular customers.

    Not only did they check the brakes, they also caught other issues that were needed. The rate was very reasonable for what was done. They did a test drive with me after the work, so I could see ow the car handles, etc. Very helpful
