University Of Iowa Hospital & Clinic
I thought that they were really good unlike sometimes with doctors I don’t know whether they had opening or whatever but I was able to get in a day after I called right away. The experience went really well.

    Veatch, Dr. Ryan
Dr Veach kept up an interesting and informative running commentary on what he was doing and why throughout the exam. I felt the exam was one of the most throrough that I have ever received. Staff helped me with readjusting my current glasses. I am a tough Rx for contacts so it was nice to know that the one fitting fee covers the whole process.

    Jensen Eyecare Center
I have gone to Jensen Eyecare Center for almost 30 years. He's a great guy, extremely personable. he really knows his stuff, he's on top of all the latest stuff with respect to contacts and glasses. He's a great guy. He likes to talk and it's always fun to go in to hear what he has to say and discuss things. He's a very knowledgeable guy in a lot of areas. I think anybody that has ever been to him will tell you the same thing.

    Veatch, Dr. Ryan
Great service. Dr. Veatch is very good and does an amazing job explaining things. He also caught what was leading to my eye allergies and prescribed something that solved the problem. No other eye doctor had suggested anything before.

    Alberhasky Eye Clinic
Dr. Alberhasky had said at my last eye exam that he had some concerns regarding what could be early warning signs of macular degeneration and wanted me to come in sooner than normal to check them again. when my vision seemed to be worse than usual, I called and they got me in within a day. his eye exams are professional and state of the art and his concern is very warm and genuine. nothing obviously wrong with my eyes, but my prescription had changed enough that he suggested I check with my general physician and get a blood test to rule out any chance of diabetes or something else. he is very thorough and I have never had a better eye doctor in my 58 years on this earth. how's that for a recommendation?

Tried them out for the first time. LOVE this environment. It's not national, but it's slicker than Wal Mart of Pearle Vision or any of the box stores. There are NICE glasses there and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. He checks you out, you look at glasses, you can always get them adjusted. I like it there.

    A. Tim Johnson, MD, PhD
It went very well! Dr. Johnson actually returned calls to my home to answer questions and concerns I had about the surgery. Before the surgery while waiting in recover, the staff worked very well together, making sure I was comfortable, timely applying eye drops and even a warm blanket, stellar! He and the staff offered me the option for mild sedation to help calm me. He was friendly and engaged me as a patient, and once the surgery was underway, I no longer felt nervous. (The surgery lasted no more than 15 minutes, I think, no pain or even discomfort. He plans to call me Sunday to follow up on how I am doing. Excellent experience. Very reassuring.

The check-in process is lengthy, I usually arrive 15 minutes early just to get that out of the way. The office is always busy but the wait in the waiting room is normally around 10 minutes. The appointment lasts about 30 minutes, the staff are very nice people and have a great bedside manner. They offer contacts at discounted prices but I've never had a need to use that service as I order mine at and even greater discount online. They're not pushy about their products, which is nice.
