My father who had been getting progressively worse slowly over the last year. In the last two weeks it was a quest for where we should go to ensure we were involved to the end and that he wouldn't die alone in a room at some institution. The people at Hospice responded so fast as dad got worse daily and gave us advice on how to handle everything that could come up. The evenings and time that would have taken away precious time traveling just to see him gave several meaningful nights when he wanted to talk. In the end it was a peaceful parting with my mother praying with him as he passed in the early morning hours. Without Methodist Hospice I don't think any of those captured moments would have happened. It was so wonderful that I made a promise to my mother to do everything I can to give her the save experience.

.They were wonderful. They would always call me ahead of time so that I knew when they were coming. If they were at all late they would call and let me know ahead of time. They were very kind and considerate. They were very professional and they knew what they were doing.

They didn't know what they were doing. They made me run around to get medicines for him, medicine I didn't think he needed. The nurse kept bothering me for information even though I was clearly tired and distraught. When my husband passed, they were more concerned with other items, like picking up unused medication, rather than my feelings. They were very unsympathetic, and it was a horrible experience.
