    The service manager, Tim met me and went over everything that he was going to do including a free vehicle inspection and said that it would be probably about 40 minutes. He showed me to the lounge and there were wonderful amenities while I waited.  Tim came and got me and explained that my tires didn't really need rotated, but that there was something else on the inspection that came up and recommended that I fix it, he could do it today, but that if I didn't want to, just to make sure I have it done within the next 3-6 months. I signed my ticket and was on my way. The service manager was great, he called me by name and made sure I was taken care of. He even offered to let me borrow a car if I had somewhere I needed to go while I waited!

    It went aweful. First, the man who came by didn't call to notify me he was there. I did, however, look out the window and see he was smoking a cigarette outside next to my garage. Then about ten minutes later I got a phone call saying, "We tried to fix your windshield but it cracked." I asked what I was supposed to do next, he replied that he couldn't do anything else and hung up. I called the company shortly after the incident, to ask what I was supposed to do about this large crack, and they said call insurance an get a new windshield. My car had smear marks all over the inside of the windshield, and the other tiny chips I had asked they fill were still there, appeared untouched. I was extremely upset when my insurance told me I had to meet my $500 deductable still an refused to pay for my now broken windshield. I will NEVER go to Safelite again, nor recommend their rude team of employees to anyone. They have a Safelite "guarantee" that is not explained upfront. Still haven't replaced my windshield. I refuse to pay for a mistake that was never adressed to me..

    Salesperson was very polite and knowledgeable.  Treated my wife as my equal in purchasing car.   Price was best in town.  Only downside was pitch for rustproofing and finish protection, but this was not overly obtrusive.

    Jerry was at the shop after five, and waited for us to arrive. His is a family business; his wife and sons were there helping out. He was prompt, very friendly, and honest (which is so hard to find!). I will drive the distance when my cars need work because it was such a good experience.

    He's very personable & doesn't talk down to me when I let him know what I think might be wrong with my car. I've only ever had to wait a couple of days to get my car into his shop. I will definitely take my car there again.

    The engine service light came on in my Honda Accord Hybrid so I had it checked by my regular (non-Honda) mechanic. They said the code was for Hybrid battery failing so I took it to the Honda dealer. I was told that the diagnostic cost $102 but that is waived if it is found to be a warranty covered issue. They said it would likely need a software update which was covered under the warranty. After 3 hours, they said they had updated the software and I should see if that resolved the Hybrid battery failure issue. The service adviser told me they didn't want to replace the battery as that was much more expensive. They noted that my warranty would be expiring in 5,000 miles. When I asked why I was being charged for the diagnostic when it was a warranty issue, they told me they were 'doing me a favor' by not charging me for the software update. I specifically asked what code the diagnostic produced. The service adviser would not tell me. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told they had left for the day (but was given their business card). Additionally, as I was driving home, I noticed that the gas tank that I had filled the day before taking the car to the shop was down to 3/4 tank. I had gone less than 50 miles on this tank of gas so either my gas mileage just dropped significantly or at least a couple gallons of gas were used while it was in the shop.
