Nick and his crew were fantastic. He completed the job in a couple days. He was very accommodating through the whole process and has a friendly professional attitude. I would recommend him and also be available to show my project

Couldn't be happier. He was courteous, personable, got back to me when he said he would, explained different aspects of the job, asked my preferences, etc., and really did a wonderful job!! It's beautiful!

    Strafford Door Co.
Did a good job on the work itself. Quite unfriendly and downright rude otherwise. Refused to take cash or credit card, and had to wait to be billed.

    LITTLE DICKENS INC
Someone from Little Dickens came out to my home so that they could give a quote on pouring a driveway. I had a single-car driveway that I was wanting to add a parking pad to-- essentially making it a double-wide driveway. A week or so goes by, and we never receive our quote. My fiancé called them three or four times and left messages, but we never heard anything back. Unfortunately I can't recommend this company due to their lack of professionalism and response.

    MB Renovations & Snow Removal
The first day he was a no show, no call. He kept rescheduling, usually it was after waiting, then I would text to see what time he was showing up. He cut to much off in one spot. Then he broke thru top of counter screwing it down and neglected to tell us. I had him re-cut counter to fix his mistake of cutting to much off in one area. then when Mike installed it, he did not get it flush with the counter that meets it in the corner. Mike is a nice guy, but would not recommend him for any remodeling jobs.

    Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors
t now My senior father was taken advantage of by this company. He purchased a garage door and had them install it. He paid a high price for the door. The installation was done very poorly. When the installer was done the door did not close and there are scratches in the new door. When questioned on the issues the installer said that’s just the way it is and left. The installer used cardboard for the main spring shim!!!!!! And left my fathers garage exposed to theft and weather. The door was left the door completely out of adjustment. When I called to get it fixed, I was told a line of crap that the installer said. Then instead of fixing it they blamed the older garage door opener and tried to sell him that as well. They sent nobody out after multiple complaints by me and my father. I went out and finished the install correctly. This company is praying on elderly folks taking advantage of them. Do not wast your time or your money. I even agreed to meet them there to discuss the issues but they never set up a time. This type of service needs exposed to prevent people being taken advantage of. It’s a shame to have to take the time to review such poor service. Regards

    Cuttin' It Close
I hired Cuttin It Close to remove a aluminum patio overhang. Since the cement underneath slanted toward the house, I asked if they also did cement work. They said they did and had done many jobs in the past. They wanted payment after taking out the old cement patio and the overhang. The cost was $1,750.00. Then after that they wanted payment of $975.00 for the cement because they had been burned in the past when after ordering the customer cancelled. The request for the $975.00 was not in the original contract agreement. They poured the cement and did the worst job that two professional contractors have ever seen. The owner stated he would add two inches to the cement. That would not be a good fix since the area between the old and new cement would cause cracks due to freezing and thawing during the winter months. Note from one contractor stated that " In regards to your patio that was poured on the 5th of August, the surface of the patio is as you can see beyond acceptable in any standards. You had mentioned that they wanted to come back to cap it. Adding a layer of ready mix over an existing slab is not recommended for a couple of reasons, 1 given the freeze thaw cycle of our climate in this area gives way for moisture to accumulate in between the two layers therefore allowing for that moisture to freeze in the winter time and separate the two layers causing heaving of the top layer, and will break apart in that process. More importantly is the expectation of getting quality work done to ensure the longevity of your investment. If placed properly, finished properly, joint cuts put in timely, will bring desired results. Unfortunately in my opinion your only option at the this time would be to have the patio torn back out, and replaced using an experienced contractor" Another contractor stated that "work showed abhorrent signs of inexperience for basic concrete procedures, patio not screens for drainage, expansion joints around the house were completely wrong and finally there were no control joints and no finish". He never offered to pay me for the cement or the money to take out the old cement.. He also did not wash down the cement by the curb.

    All Major Restorations, LLC
I can hardly contain my frustration with this company. On April 7, there was a bad hail storm in Davenport, IA. Facebook ads came up advertising this company and they had lots of "likes," so I reached out to them. We met with project manager, Meredith, a few days after the storm. She was late but not too late. Oh well, we figured we're all human and things happen. On our next meeting with her, it approached 30 minutes after she was scheduled to be at our home. We called her and she said she wasn't coming. Very unprofessional. She rescheduled for a few days later. During this meeting she took some photos of the hail damage and said that we would be working with her as well as a project manager named Sam. Come to find out, she quit abruptly and never told us. Sam and the owner, Alex Mayorga, came out to our home on May 12 to do another estimate and remove some siding to run an ITEL report to see if they could locate the same exact siding. At around three weeks, I reached out to Sam to request an update. He said the siding sample was never received by ITEL and that he'd overnight them a new sample. I requested the tracking number and never heard back. After six days of no response, I received an email from Sam saying he never sent it. It is now over two months since the hailstorm and we have gotten absolutely nowhere with this company. I see their Facebook page is under a new name and I could not get through on Sam's work phone. Upon calling their number that is listed, the woman who answered (the receptionist, I guess) said that they no longer exist and it is entirely a new, family owned company. I can't believe I've wasted over two months on this joke of a business! Save yourself a headache and a lot of frustration and do not do business with this company-- whether All Major Restoration or the "new" All Major Roofing and Siding. New name, same mess of a company!  I'm left with my hail damaged house and missing siding due to their report that was never even run.
