    Siouxland Women's Health Care
So far I've been really impressed with Siouxland Women's Healthcare. At this time I'm six months pregnant, so I've been to the office about six or seven times. Each time they have been able to get me in right away. I had a concern about my pregnancy at about week 22 and the office got me in immediately to help address the issue; which turned out to be nothing. I've also had to use the after hours response to a concern that I was having. The on call doctor called me back immediately. The doctors I've met so far are fantastic! For the most part the staff is friendly. There is only one gal with an attitude at the check out desk, but there is always one in a group...so I'm not gonna hold that against this practice

    Herbert Hodes MD
I have been going to Dr. Hodes since about 1988. I had a lot of problems with severe cramps, migraine headaches. He is at the top of his field and up on all new procedures. After my exam , he always takes the time to sit and talk to me. I drive approximately 300 miles a year to see Dr, Hodes for my physical. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fine physician.

    Siouxland Ob & Gyn
The staff and doctors at the office are very friendly and helpful. Although waiting to see a doctor can be pretty lengthy at times, I would recommend this office to any women. All the nurses make you feel welcome and answer any questions you may have.

    Siouxland Women's Health Care
I had been having pain that was dismissed by my primary doctor. The doctors there were awesome. Even though the ultrasound didn't show anything, Dr. Hamburger didn't dismiss my pain. I had surgery on July 5th and sure enough, there was a reason for a pain that wasn't showing up on the ultrasound. He fixed it and I'm feeling much better. The staff is so nice and it was so great to have a doctor who was determined to fix the problem.

    Kossuth Regional Health Center
I had a lump that needed to be examined and was thought to be a cyst. I saw Dr. Moeller who started the procedure and discovered it was something else. Instead of discontinuing the course of action he was doing, he completed the procedure although it was not usual office protocol. He took the time to discuss what happened, what course of action he needed to take, and how to care for myself. He also fit me in the very next day for follow up to make certain I was healing. A week later I had another follow up appointment to see how I was healing and discuss the tumor. The tumor was benign. I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received.

    Great River Women's Health
I have gone to GRWH located at GRMC (Great River Medical Center hospital) for all 4 of my pregnancies - the last one being surprise twins. I like all of the staff, especially the Rebecca Winneke, CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife). She spends as much time as you need, answers every question thoroughly, and truly listens to your concerns without rushing you or making you feel rushed. It's how appointments should be. The doctors are also supportive of the patient's plans. Although this hospital currently does not do VBAC deliveries, they welcome and support doing shared-care with the University of Iowa Hospitals and clinics for those planning desiring VBAC. The staff has also been very caring, tender, and compassionate in times of our miscarriages (one singleton, and one both twins) I feel fortunate to have such a professionsl, supportive women's health center close by. They are very supportive of natural alternatives as well as breastfeeding supportive and helpful. There are also LC's in the hospital and in the Pediatrician's office. They also take Medicaid and most other insurances. The only billing problems I've had have been on the part of outside referrers or insurance, not on the part of GRWH.

    Mitchell County Regional Health Center
I was able to see my family doctor for most of my appointments and then I was able to see the OB-GYN from Mason for the other appointments up until my last 4 weeks. It was very convenient to not have to travel out of town all the time. I had a positive experience with everyone I saw! I will definitely be going back next time!

I was escorted in fairly promptly. I spoke with Sandy the nurse, and we arranged another service. I changed and the doctor came RIGHT in (no waiting half an hour). Dr. Moeller has a great sense of humor and sets you at ease right away. My appointments are always quick and simple.

    Dr Paul Hayes
He has different staff members and his secretary is kind of rude. He kind of rushed through things. He was thorough, but rushed. After that, I just go to my regular family doctor for my pap smears.

    Steffensmeier, Dr. Leah
Dr. Steffensmeir is wonderful.  She delivered our first two babies and we couldn't be happier to have her deliver our third child.
