    Fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough. We bought a house built in 1957, and the last remodel had been done sometime in the 70's. We completely gutted the main floor and attic to studs, and rebuilt from there. New layout, the whole deal. Ward did a complete rewire, new panel, data lines, cable, any residential electric you can think of, they took care of. Great guys to work with, kept us in code, answered our (sometimes dumb) questions and worked with us on last minute changes. Came out whenever we needed questions answered or last minute modifications done. Will be contracting them to complete our basement when we get to that part of the remodel. Cannot recommend highly enough. Charlie and Jared (and Jared's apprentice? Sorry forgot his name) were great to work with. If you've worked with many contractors (and I hadnt until this remodel) you'll learn that certain things can happen or issues will come up - but not with these guys. Far and away the best contractors we had...and will be using again. If you need a reference we are happy to be one.

    When they came out, they replaced something at the pole, which did not help. Then they went through the whole house tracing cables. They found two cables that they were chewed on by a mouse. After replacing those lines, everything looked great. Very professional, and a very nice technician. We are very happy to be Cable One customers.

    I was very satisfied with my service all.  I called because I had several channels that were cutting out.  I had an appointment for "all day" so I can't complain that he did not show up on time.  When he arrived he already had an idea of what the problem was because he had done some signal strength testing from his vehicle.  The technician then came in and replace som bad connectors that I had, he then said that the "drop" from the pole to the house was bad and that needed to be replaced as well. He went out and replaced some piece at the top of the pole and came back in to show me the damaged one and explained that was causing a lot of my issues.  He also told me that the line would need to be replaced but it could not be done today due to lighteneing but he would have someone come out as soon as possible.  I was satisfied with that.  After he left I checked the channels I was having trouble with and all was working great.  I was very happy overall with the service all. the only thing that I would lkie changed is that I wish they could narrow down the timeframe that the technician was to arrive si I was not stuck home all day.

    Initial installation of cable was performed when I moved into the house 4 years ago.  Installation was done by a contractor not a Mediacom technician - and it was terrible!  Wires were not hidden, big loops left, trash left behind etc..  I had probs with my internet (but not my TV!) earlier this year; the Mediacom technician had to re-wire almost everything!  Then the cost is a HUGE almost $160 per month - talk about gouging because there is no competition..............

    They let me out of my cable service early with no arguments which was nice. I still have their internet service. I believe the cable programming is simply a bad product that is over priced.

    9-3-14 Can only get on the internet MAYBE long enough to check email if lucky. Have went days not being to access internet.. Taking modem back tomorrow and looking for another service provider. Will be filing consumer complaint with the States Attorneys office.

    On June 2 a subcontractor for Mediacom came to my hose and hit my garage door. June 23 his supervisor finally came to look at the door and said his technician didn't hitvit and was denying the claim. I have called Mediacom 6 times regarding this and have not received one call in return or has this been settled.

    I am disappointed with the service in our area (Fort Dodge, IA). The internet is intermittent and is always disconnecting. I would prefer not to use this provider in the future but we do not have too many options here. We don't seem to have too many issues with the cable. When I call to set up an appointment for any issues, they have called prior to sending out the technician and if I do not answer the phone, they cancel the appointment. I have had 2 appointments cancelled, just because I didn't get to the phone in time and they didn't leave a call back number and it rang through as "unavailable". When the service is down if you call their 1-800 number, it takes you to a recording and they won't even take your call. They tell you to wait 4 hours and if service is not restored, call back.
