    Hoy Dr. Stephen E.
Dr. Hoy is very thorough and takes time to explain what is necessary in terms that patients are able to understand.  He's also very friendly and allows for questions/concerns without making patient feel rushed.

    Schope, Dr. Jennifer M.
She is a real good doctor; I have been seeing her for the past three years. She is very knowledgeable and seems like a very caring doctor. She looks out for the best interests of the patient and she has cleared up dermatology issues that other dermatologists just could not do. I highly recommend her and will use her again in the future.

    Medical Associates Clinic PC
I ended up being late because the receptionist had forgotten to mention that new patients needed to visit registration first, but it was okay as it was clearly a very slow day. The only real chatter was among the clerks and I was completely alone in the waiting room. And I waited about 15- 20 minutes... completely alone. Then I was called and led down a hallway more quiet than a morgue. No talking from behind the doors to any of the rooms, no patients passing by. Once in the room I waited again, this time more like 5-10 minutes after the nurse left. But I get it. The doc needs to get dressed and brush his teeth.

So he comes in, seems friendly enough, but with an underlying attitude of serious disinterest. He looked at my problem a grand 2 seconds, and told me to put some hydrocortizone on it and and quot;see if it goes away.and quot; I'd had this rash for 2 weeks, was progressively getting worse, and he wanted me to put anti-itch cream on it? If that wasn't the dumbest thing ever, I'd already told him it didn't itch. The man rushed me out the door in the space of 3 minutes, then had the nerve to charge me $114! And btw, all he could conclude (from his attentive look at it), was that it wasn't a bug bite or poison ivy. No, really?? I thought it was a sunburn. Clearly, you can buy your PhD. And then you can work at Med Assoc.

He is very personable and is open to discussion and he is from Wisconsin and he "fits" in well with us. All five of my children have gone to him and we will continue to use him in the future.
