    We needed a new cell phone and to add our son to our family plan.  Our Verizon representative was very helpful and was able to answer our questions with confidence.  The transaction went smoothly and reasonably fast.  Rebate forms were printed out for us and it was explained how to submit them.  Very pleased with our visit to this Verizon Wireless World store.

    TracFone Wireless Inc
    TracFone has good cell phone voice service at a great price--if you can make it work. I have two cell phones with all the minutes I care to use for $18 a month on a monthly family plan. I originally purchased two identical phones from the company's website. My wife's worked flawlessly right away and has for nearly two years. Mine never worked right. I could place calls, but never receive them. I spent MANY hours on the phone with the company trying to solve the problem. They several times declared the problem fixed, but it never was, for more than the trial call. I finally purchased a new phone at Walmart ($20) and it has worked well since that time--nearly a year at this point. The customer service is so-so, but you can't beat the price.

    I have been a Verizon customer for about 15 years. Went to Empire mall location to for replace or repair. Amber, a manager was not only less than helpful, she also went out of her way to be rude. Her behavior was bad enough that I decided to pay the 500.00 (cost of broken phone) so that I could cancel my plan with Verizon and go with another carrier. Horrible customer service from this manager.

    They shoot from the hip and don't use their manuals. I sometimes had to make up to six phone calls to get a right answer. There were times that I would sit for up to 8 hours on the computer and phone. I was a secondary contact for my son's account. He asked that I not be contacted about it after they started calling and I still received calls from them for up to a year later. I found bugs on 14 of their phones. They eventually got me to supervisors in the customer service department. The supervisors started picking out phones for me that also did not work correctly. I had overages on my bill for minutes and was never offered unlimited plans until I asked about them. This information was never offered to me. I got yelled at by customer service, received wrong answers and eventually was given the tools to solve problems on my own because they did not want me to need to call customer service any further. They would make promises to call me and would not. They promised new batteries for phones they would send that did not work and would send me another faulty battery as a replacement.

    This is not the first time I have been made to feel like an idiot by a Sprint store employee. They have a way of always talking down to you no matter what your experience is. I work for the military in telecommunication and networking and they speak to me like I am a third grader who just broke a window and the neighbor’s house. Is it a job requirement to be aloof and condescending?
