AZen Windows Des MoinesMatt was incredibly helpful despite the fact that Zen Windows doesn't do the kind of broken glass repair I needed. After hearing my confusion about how to fix the original cause of the broken window, Matt offered the help he could offer. He recommended glass repair shops for the pane and then taught me how to fix my own windows! He invited me to send him pictures of my windows and he taught me how to unlock the pivot shoe and remove the pin, pointed me towards the specific parts online (only $20), and empowered me to take care of my other windows that had ceased functioning. He was generous with his time and knowledge and I'm incredibly grateful.- Erin G.

ARenewal by AndersenThe crew went right to work, verified the new windows were correct. The they removed the old windows, carefully removing my vinyl shutters on the three windows in the front of the home. They had already put down canvas at each location so all debris would fall there. The new windows were installed, leveled into the openings and screwed into place. They then cut and installed the trim which I had picked up at their shop to pre-stain. They had used foam sealer to make the windows air tight between the window and existing framing. The windows were caulked outdoors to match the window color and the 3 shutter pairs were reinstalled. AArpy's ConstructionMike was referred to us by some friends. He met every appointment, multiple times as we added a couple things to our job. He explained exactly what they would do and what we could expect. He and his crew showed up every day on time. The entire crew was professional polite and curtious and always answered my questions no matter how dumb I thought it sounded. They cleaned up the entire area everyday. AZen Windows Des MoinesWe had a garden window that was completely rotten. It was not visible until they started pulling out the old windows. They ended up rebuiding the wall and then installed the windows. The job definately incurred more expense but they did not charge us more. They honored their original quote! FAwful. He misread the floor plans and quoted me “$50-$60,000” for a 1,300 sq ft deck. However after much back and forth he finally realized it was only 348 sq ft. That must have upset “Judd.” The conversation ended with a sarcastic tone and a ballpark quote for $30,000——-for a 348 sq foot deck..... if I were you, I would RUN! Unless of course he does decking made from solid gold.

ABrand new deck railing — contacted the owner for an estimate. He worked closely with us on designing exactly what we wanted. We have a 10 acre pond behind our home and wanted the ability to see it clearly, yet needed a deck railing. David and his employees were surprisingly (most contractors march to the beat of their own clock!) punctual and professional. They mapped out the most ideal structure to maximize our view. We could not be happier with their hard work, expertise, listening skills, and care and concern for what we wanted. VERY impressed!! I would hire this company to do any repairs, additions, replacements, etc.

AMy initial call was returned within a couple hours and they were out for an estimate the same day. Crew showed up on the day scheduled first thing in the morning and were completed in about 2.5 hours. Courteous, professional quality work. Quoted price was mid-range of all estimates. Final price was little under the quote too. I would comfortably recommend them to anyone.
