AHolt Plumbing & Heating IncThe crew explained everything as they revealed the pipes. We discussed how to remediate the issue so that I could have an upgraded beautiful, functional bathroom where the garbage disposal doesn’t BURP UP it’s contents into the bathtub. The crew was considerate and attempted to avoid as much “mess making” as possible. I also had HOLT replace the ancient furnace & air conditioner plus install an on-demand water heater unit. My monthly gas and electric bills are now $73 after energy efficient installations. I rely on HOLT for maintenance service, too.- Brena C.

They even gave me some advice on a noise coming from another part of my house with no additional charge! The overall price I paid was expected and I haven't had a problem since! ADDS PLUMBINGI have used DDS plumbing for the past several years at my own home and my rental homes in DSM and Ames. They are incredible! Super knowledgeable, great in explaining things in terms I will understand and they help me decide where to spend money and where not to spend money. They've done little jobs (fix leaks etc) and huge jobs (water heater replacement, toilet replacement, etc.) and they never fail to impress me. I trust them completely and for me -- if they're booked and can't get to me for a day or two (rarely happens) I will GLADLY wait. They're that good and they're that reliable. They fixed some toilets on a rental property for me and the fix did not work the first time. They were back the next day at no charge, problem solved the issue and made sure it was fixed for good. These are ethical, seasoned professionals and I'm so glad I found them. My only issue with them is I often have to call more than once to get a person to answer the phone. ADDS PLUMBINGOur water heater was not functioning after our return from a vacation. DDS plumbing was very resposive to our phone call. We got an early apointment for the next day. However, they called back about a cancellation and turned up on the same day. Scott was very clear about the problem and gave us options on replacing the water heater. On our approval, He immediately started his work and made sure he completes and cleans up even though it was beyond 5pm. Everything works perfectly now. Thank you DDS plumbing. ADDS PLUMBINGmy water heater pilot light went out on Friday. I called my regular (now ex regular) plumber to come take a look at it. He did, was here maybe 15 minutes, lit the pilot light and left. 2 hours later it went out again. The old water heater was a kenmore. He took out all the assembly and put it back together and the pilot light wouldnt lite at all. By this time it was getting to be around 7 PM and he said he didnt know anything about kenmores. He said he would go home and look up what he needed to do and call me Saturday morning. By noon on Saturday I had left six messages and have not heard a word from him. I started calling around to see who could either work on water heater or install a new. Most everyone said they do not work on kenmores because their parts are special and most of the time you have to order them. Calling Sears and they told me 3 weeks they MIGHT have time to look at it. I got on Angielist and called DDS. I got ahold of the father and told him what was happening. His first question was do we currently have hot water and I answered no and he said they would install it that day. I went out and bought a Reem water heater from home depot and called DDS and the father said he would send his son out. The son came out and started to take the old water heater out when he notice that my "flu" vent was set in the wall in cement and took out his tape measurer and found out the new one we bought was 59 1/2 inches and my flu vent was set for 571/2 inches. He told us what we needed to look for in a water heater and said if we couldnt find one, his warehouse which didnt open till Monday would have one. He also said if we found one ourselves to call him back and he would install it. We returned the water heater to home depot and went to Lowes and bought a 52 inch Whirlpool on Sunday and called him back around 2 and by 6 we had hot water. He also corrected stuff with the previous installion that was wrong and found two small gas leaks. He was very very helpful and I would highly recommend him- William D.

ADDS PLUMBINGThe crew came exactly at 8:30 as promised and worked quickly to finish the jog by 11am. They put down protective coverings on the floors and stairs before they started bring equipment in. They did a very nice job cleaning up the work area and removed the old heater. Once the new heater was in they explained all the controls and made sure there where no leaks in the system. During the removal of the old heater, they scratched the wood floor in the hallway, DDS had a floor repair person on site within a half an hour and the repair work is being done and DDS has taken care of the costs. Don and his crew nice folk who do great work, they should be your first choice for plumbing work.- Bill C.

AScott came out to do the repairs. I had several plumbing issues and didn't expect to have them all completed the same day, but Scott managed to get them all done in one afternoon, including making s run for parts and a new disposal. He explained the cause of each issue and his planned fix before he went ahead. Most of of it ended up being relatively small repairs but I know some plumbers would have replaced rather than fixed to make more money. Very honest, good communication, reasonable pricing, skilled work - I will call them for all of my plumbing needs.

AI've had a customer service agreement with Dorrian for the past six years. Got bids from two other companies with sterling reputations on Angies List, and Dorrian was about $200 less expensive. I've never had issues with Dorrian service before, and this was no exception. They arrived when they said they would, took out the old system, installed the new energy efficient one in about a day and a half. Very professional, courteous and clean. Haven't turned on the heat yet (obviously), but the AC works great and is very quiet. I would recommend them to others.

AWe used City Wide to replace our Water Heater, Furnace, and Central Air (all within 6 months, ugh.) For the Central Air, replacement was prompt, only a few days after calling. Service was done within the day. Workers cleaned up most of the mess (with a little residual stuff for us to clean) and were cordial. Unfortunately the air conditioner froze up that evening. A worker was sent the next day to fix the issue. The prices are competitive for the area, the products have good reviews, and the warranties are good.
