    A+ Lawn & Landscape
This was such a convenient way to get my lawn mower a needed tune up and blade sharpening. Price was comparable to other places where I would've had to take the mower in but I didn't have to haul my mower anywhere - A+ came to my house, took the mower on their trailer, completed the work and put the mower back in my shed when they were done. Ran much better afterwards (had been stalling out previously) and the blade sharpening made a big difference. I'll likely have them come out annually and do this same service.

determined cause of problem was a spring. Changed oil & did not sharpen blade. Was not charged for spring tune-up as one was not needed. (Blade was sharp) Work was promised in 2 weeks and was ready 4 days early.

The Angies List page said free pick up and delivery and when I went to pay they charged me $70 or some nonsense for transport saying that that special was seven years old and they would not honor it. Will never use Angie's List to make a serious decision ever again. Was completely let down.

    Very poor
communication, did not meet my expectation for timeliness of service, very slow
service, no complaint about work done or cost.
    I called ahead and
was told that mower repairs were taking about 2 weeks.  I dropped the mower off on 5/20/2015 and was
again told it would be about 2 weeks.
After more than 2 weeks, on about 6/5, I called and was told that there
were a few mowers ahead of mine that that mine should be done in a few
days.  About a week later, on about 6/10,
I called and was told the same thing - that my mower would be the next one or
two and that it would be done within a couple of days.  I expressed my dissatisfaction with what they
had told me and that it was not still not getting done.  I told them that if it was not done by
Saturday, 6/13, that I would be gone the next week and would expect it to be
done when I got back.  (I may have called
them one more time before I left, but I'm not sure.  I called them after I arrived home on Friday,
6/19 and was told that they had ordered a part and didn't know when it would be
done.  I told them that I would just pick
it up the next day (Saturday) and to not do anything to the mower.  I got a call back within minutes from a
person who told me I would have to pay for the part and a half hour of labor. He
said the part was scheduled to come in about 10 days later on 6/29!   After
a heated conversation, we agreed that he would try on find a part on Monday
that he could get in more quickly.  On
Monday he called and said he found a part that could be in the next day.    I
agreed to the extra charge for expedited shipping.  They called me today, Tuesday, 6/23 and told
me it was done.  I picked up and paid for
the repair within about a half hour of them calling.  The price was fair and the mower appears to
be working fine.  I have no complaint
about their work or their charge.  But, their
communication was poor at best or they were lying at worst.  At a very minimum, they should have called me
to get approval for the ordering of the part and to ask if the additional delay
was acceptable. (I might have said yes, but they never called.)  I will not do business with them ever
again.  I am not asking for anything
further to be done.  I'm just glad the
    episode is over with.

I dropped my Worx Electric mower off at Beaver Mower and Equipment
Repair.  I called each week and was told it would be the next week.  At
the three week mark, I called and it still was not ready.  I went over
there to pick it up, anyway, not repaired.  They had left it out in the
rain for three weeks. The handles are rusted and one is bent!  This
mower has never been left outside.  I take very good care of my
equipment and am disgusted with the lack of respect and lack of
professionalism with Beaver Mower.  I took my mower to Van Wall in
Urbandale and they kept it inside and had it repaired within a week!!

It was an ongoing thing. They fixed something and then three weeks later it didn't function. They took it in and they said well we told you it might need a new corroborator and I said why don't you just put in a new corroborator instead of rebuilding the old one and they said I will tell you what we will do. What we will do we will put it in for free you just pay for the corroborator and then when I got there they changed it and I have heard nothing but complaints about that company. When I got there they charged me for labor and corroborator and everything. In a short amount of time they had a $1000 when they just put in a new corroborator would have been whatever 600 or something. I am a commercial account. I own a pawnshop so I took a lot of stuff to them and once I mentioned that every single person I talked to said that's all we have ever heard from that company.

We had an older lawn mower that needed servicing. During our brief conversation, we were told the basic cost of diagnosing the equipment problems. We felt that this cost was higher than what we felt the mower was worth; and decided against utilizing their service.

Service was unprofessional. We were told it would take up to 2.5 weeks and they would call with an estimate before repairing or tuning up. We called to check on at 2.5 weeks and they had not looked at it yet. Took yet another week and person answering phone was unfriendly and impatient.

Overall, I will not be using them in the future. The work was fine and they even cleaned up the outside of my mower, but the communication and progress was ridiculous. I was told upfront that it would be approximately 1.5 weeks to have my mower back. However, each time I called to get a status on the work, the repair date would continually move. My general assessment is that they are fairly disorganized and taking on far more work than they can handle. Finally, two full weeks went by and I was told it would be another week. I could not wait any longer. I called another mower service and set up arrangements for them to pick my mower up from this shop and take to theirs. When I called to let them know about my arrangements, suddenly they had time to work on my mower. They were usually polite and the work was without issue, but it just took far too long and was more headache on my end than necessary. I felt like I was having to beg to get my mower completed.

I own a Snapper mower that has been a lemon since the day I brought it home. After experiencing starting problems from the second time I used the mower I returned it to where I bought it for warranty service. The vendor pronounced that nothing was wrong with the mower and continued to maintain there was nothing to fix. So for two years my wife and I fought this mower tooth and claw to get it to start, a process sometimes taking up to 30 minutes. Finally the mower refused to start at all, the drive mechanism destroyed a bearing and I turned to Krumm's for help. They were quick, professional, and courteous. When I went to pick up the mower I noticed that among the many problems they had fixed they missed one. They were quick to admit that they had made a mistake and made it a priority to complete the service promptly. When I returned home with my mower it started and operated better than it had when new. I will definitely return to Krumm's for any problems with my mower or show blowers in the future.
