  • Everything was great. The place is not the state of art place, but it is clean.  The prices are lower than other vet and you get the same services of the others.  I would recommend St Francis animal hospital to anyone.

  • I have been using this vet since I moved to the Quad Cities, approximately 15 years ago. I went in to purchase prescription cat food. The woman behind the counter made a snarky remark about my going to another provider to get vaccinations. I told her I had no idea what she was talking about as I have not taken my pets to any other vet. I then paid for my cat food. At that point she REFUSED to help me carry the food out to my car. I ended up having to drag it through the snow and ice. I wanted to ask for my money back but my animals were low on food and I didn't want them to run out. If the staff treats the pet owners this way just think about how they treat the pets when the owners aren't there. This staff member is not someone I know, and in the past I have always found the staff to be helpful and compassionate. I think maybe she thought I was someone else but that is still no reason to treat someone that way. Because of this incident I plan to switch my pets care to a different provider.

  • My beagle is elderly, and Dr. Scott and all the staff and vets are incredibly compassionate. My dog has many old age issues, and I would not board anywhere else because I know he will be well cared after.
On a side note, the facility is fun (for a vet's office)--lots of patient/owner pics, friendly cats in the lobby, and turtles, snakes, and more in tanks.

  • I like him. He does not over-charge. He is good because I just had my dog die and he recommended who to have it cremated by. He does not tell us to go and give an operation for the 14 years old. He tells us the truth. He leaves it up to us.

  • Dr. Carolyn Ecker is an excellent veterinarian. My cat has been seen by her for a few different health concerns, which have all been cleared up effectively and efficiently. Dr. Ecker takes time to listen to my concerns and questions and seems to genuinely care for animals. She doesn't “candy coat” her explanation of her diagnosis or recommendations and has always been professional without being arrogant or condescending. I truly recommend anyone in the Quad Cities to see Dr. Ecker for their pets vet care.

  • We have taken our dog for grooming and also veterinary services for about the last six months. Our dog reacts very well to the people that groom her which is very important to us as some other groomers did not do so well as she came home almost traumatized. She is beautiful and very clean.

  • Our 16 yr. old dog suffered a prolonged Grand Mal Seizure. The time to put her to sleep had arrived. Since it was 1am and our regular vet would not be available, we took her to the Animal Emergency Center. We did call ahead and explained the problem. The vet tech was professional and sympathetic. Once there, the staff took our dog and prepared a catheter for the injection. They have a specal room specifically designed for euthanasia and we were placed on that room. The staff was VERY compassionate about the situtation. The staff fully explained what would happen both during and after the administration of the drugs. The vet brought our dog in to us in a state of deep sleep, and gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. Since we had expected this situation, we were ready right then. The Vet gave the injection, and our little furry kid slipped away. After a few moments, they took her to the back area, and placed her in a cardbaord coffin so we could take to the the pet creamatory ourselves.

I cannot say enough how professional, accomodating, kind, and compassionate these people were. They were FAR more caring than our regular vet who had put down our previous pets.

While we were there, we had the opportunity to watch the staff interact with other pet owners (at 1 am!) They were uniformly professional and effective. I would STRONGLY recommend this service if your pet needs assistance after normal business hours.

  • I have used Dr Seng for over 20 years and am obviously a satisfied customer. He is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and works to keep his prices low for the average working person. The office is not fancy but it is ok with me.

  • I used to live in Clinton, and I recently moved to the Quad Cities, and I wont take my dogs anywhere else. They offer quick service, and do a great job with my puppies. They also genuinly care about the welfare of my dogs and they show it. They are the best priced, and run ABC (Animal Birth Control) out of the office. I think that is the greatest thing that a Vet can be a part of. I would recommend this veteranarian to anyone!!!!

  • I called the Animal Hospital because I assumed that my dog was sick from worms, and the clinic wouldn't pay any attention to my questions. They kept telling me I could bring in my dog and the costs would start at $85.00 just to be seen, and then the price would go up from there, They refused to answer any of my questions, and treated me like I was less than a paying customer by far. I would recommend that people stay away from this place if you can...I do understand that emergencies arise, and I'm sure it would be better to take them to an uncaring clinic that is going to cost you an arm and a leg versus letting your animal suffer.
