  • Very well. Dr. Johnson checked her ears and said they looked great. My daughter was given a clean bill of health and he gave me advice on how to keep her ears dry during the upcoming swimming season. I have to go back in three months, just to make sure the tubes are staying in place and doing their job effectively.

  • This was a routine test that I was able to schedule quickly and get done before the end of the year.

Scheduling was easy and there is a pleasant office environment.

The only complaint I would have would be the punctuality of the initial screening review.

The day of the procedure, things went well, I was treated well by the staff. They communicated well about what was to take place and what to expect. The site was clean and comfortable. The staff was concerned about my privacy and comfort.

Dr. Davis was pleasant and did a good job of communication.

Billing and Insurance submittals went without a hitch.

Overall this was a good experience and I would recommend this organization.

  • I was diagnosed with stage III SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA in my cervix in December of 2011. I couldn't have asked for better care and understanding or patience than what I got from a very long string of various doctors from just as many different departments. I highly recommend the university of Iowa hospitals and clinics, at least to the people I have been to. Which doesn't leave many departments out.
  • I had a good first impression with the midwives at the group. They are all very friendly. As I kept going to appointments I noticed one midwife always asked me the same questions, which if she would have charted my answers, did not need to be asked again.
I was very small throughout the pregnancy, so they tested my labs at about 5 months and referred me to an endocrinology doctor without my permission or knowledge. When the endocrinology group called me I was very nervous because I didn't know what was going on. I thought this was very unprofessional.
The one time I had to call for a question, it took about 2 hours for them to get back to me, which was a little too long.
I didn't really test their knowledge too much because I am an RN myself and I already know a lot about OB.
During labor and delivery I had Rachel, who I was very impressed with. She made sure all my wishes in the delivery room were met and made for a pleasant delivery environment. Also the ladies made sure I could go home fast, which was very important to me.

  • The reception area is comfortable and the receptionists were very polite.  Dr. Wong was running behind at my first visit, and I had an extended wait time, but he stayed as long as I needed (I was the last appointment of the day). The check-out receptionist was also very polite, especially since it was almost an hour past the time the office closed when I checked out.

  • I like that your a person to her. She is very caring and she spends time with you. Now she is highly specialized so it can be difficult to get into see her. But she is really good. She is very relatable, she doesn't hurry you along and like I said she is just caring.

  • My appointment with cardiovascular medicine was great.  My appointment was at the davenport facility and I met with Dr. Coyne.  He was really informative and explained everything to me.  He also calmed my nerves after a med tech scared me a couple me weeks earlier.  I felt very comfortable with him as a doctor and the facility.  My only complaint was that the girl at the front desk was rude and not very helpful. Luckily the rest of the staff picked up the slack and informed the manager about her behavior.

  • I go to Urological Associates for my prostate because it is enlarged and I take medication to control it. They see me on time and give me the advice and tests that I require. They are friendly and efficient.

  • Had the midwives for all of my prenatal care and birth. Was really happy that I got to access midwives as my interactions with OB/GYN's were far from the personal nature of the patient/midwife relationship. That being said, they are WAY overbooked and so you dont get as much time with time as you would like. However, they were available day and night to take my calls and questions and never looked at me crazy no matter what my craziness. The only issues I had was with the outside corp that they have doing their blood draws. The people who did them were kind, however the billing was a mess and frustrating. The Bills arrive with only "pay upon reciept" as the due date and if you don't, you would get sent into collections. Plus you get a new bill for each time, even if it was the day before you will get two separate bills. There were days when I got 4 separate bills from them in the mail.Pre

  • The stress test showed that there might be blockage. Dr. Witcik recommended a cardiac cath. After the cath procedure we were told there was absolutely no blockages, that it was a false positive stress test which I guess occurs on occasion?? A $11,000 procedure done for nothing. We were pleased with the doctor and the care given.
