The price she quoted was not the cheapest, or the highest -- it was apparently just right, since our load was contracted with a very professional transporter company within 24 hours of EAS putting out the quote. The transporters were outstanding and every aspect of the process went super smooth. The car was delivered days ahead of schedule (a good thing for us), and was pristine upon arrival. ADevine DirtworksI had some drainage issues on my property and Dustin Devine came out and bid me a price to fix the issues. He changed the grade on my property to allow that water to drain away from my home. He also tiled my downspouts and installed underground drain pipes from my gutters out to the creek behind my house. He repaired my broken driveway concrete and hauled in crushed concrete for the base. He also cut down a couple trees and trimmed some others cleaning up the appearance of my home and acreage. He hauled all the brush and material away. He also hauled in some of the blackest dirt I have ever seen to help with reseeding my yard. I would highly recommend his services as he is fair, honest and very personable to work with. During these last heavy rains we've had the water ran away perfectly and I was VERY impressed with watching the water run exactly the way he said it would! He worked very hard, did a ton of work for what I think was a very reasonable price. I no longer have water in my basement!!!!!!!!- Tim W.

AKaveman Hauling LLCA renovation project was about to result in a small mountain of old lath and plaster on my kitchen floor -- too much for me to handle on my own, and I needed the work done on a tight schedule. Kevin promptly returned my call and provided a written estimate for the work, including landfill fees, that same day. Kevin's team started the work right on time. It was a tough, heavy, dusty job but they got it done within a couple of hours, taking care to sweep the area clean afterward. I was very pleased with the work and will certainly have Kaveman at the top of my list future hauiling needs.- Charles P.

AKaveman Hauling LLCI had an email response within minutes of sending a message through the interface on his website. Kevin asked for some photos of the brush piles, I provided those pictures, and he set up a time right away. Kevin showed up promptly on Tuesday morning - ahead of schedule from what I expected. I was at work. He gave me a call, picked up the brush, and emailed me an invoice. He said he'd make it look like there were never piles there, and he was correct. AKaveman Hauling LLCKevin was straight up from the beginning---no surprises... He told me the dehumidifier disposal would be an extra $25 charge. He told me that he could not fit all of it in a single load, but will offer me a good discount on a second (partial) load. I opted for 1 load and to systematically eliminate the rest of it through our weekly garbage pickup (which was probably a mistake on my part because it was way too much effort to save $125). I requested that he leave behind only the small stuff. We scheduled a time and he delivered!---actually he hauled! He did not short-change me at all----he loaded his truck to the very max and really packed it in. He had to leave behind a whole bunch of small stuff---exactly as I requested----which took me 3 weeks of garbage pickup to eliminate completely. I would recommend Kevin's services, and I would call him again if the need arises. Next time I think I'll go ahead and pay for the extra partial load, too!- DAVID W.

AThey worked with me to get the job done earlier than initially discussed. The crew was very professional and polite. Did a great job cleaning up and disposing of all the old materials. I didn't find a single nail in the yard when they were done, and I was looking. The gutters are 6" seamless, and they installed folding downspouts all around to which makes it easier cutting the grass. Reasonably priced and quick to finish. I hired them based on reviews, and I'm glad I did.

ANo results because I live in NW Des Moines proper and the service provider is located in the SE section of Des Moines. The owner stated that we were out of his service area and I think that would make good business sense. I would not expect them to come that far for one small job. I have no problem with his decision!!!

FBait and Switch! I've never worked with a company so alluring and dishonest IN MY LIFE! Prior to loading day we had a $6,600 quote that was updated to a $10,500 quote only to have the truck and packers show up and increase our total to $20,000!!!!!!! We had packed everything but the furniture! The trucking company representative from Roadrunner (Polaris Moving is the parent company) said she was now our contact. She "fired Moving APT!!!" We are now in week 10 post moving to WI and our belongings are STILL NOT HERE!!! Roadrunner has taken our goods hostage forcing us to get a lawyer!! I will NEVER use Angie's List or a broker again!! This has been nothing short of a nightmare!
