I worked with Chris R Hayes the owner. Chris comes across as a sincere and genuine guy. I am not sure he has the best ethics, I learned the hard way. The clear bra was the installed and I had no issues with the installation. Although, I am not impressed with the clearshield pro product. The bra broke apart after two weeks of light sheer force. On the blind spot monitor, Chris charged extra for paint matching. The matching job was done quite poorly. The paint is grainy and does not completely cover the sensors. The blind spot monitor alert led was installed on top of the mirrors. I was led to believe it would be behind the mirrors and come thru. Wires running to the alert led shows and looks poor. The blind spot monitors are not aimed correctly because they do not detect vehicles in the blind spot, but when I can see them. Additionally, the blind spot monitor wiring was not hooked up to the right and left blinkers. The alert speaker was left out of the installation. All of which means the system does not sound an audible alert when I signal a lane change and the system identifies a vehicle is in the lane. The ECU for the blind spot monitor was not secured to the vehicle so I heard it rattling in the back along with the wiring which was also not fastened to a harness. The rear view monitor was similarly poorly painted. Missing paint on some monitors. There was a backup speaker/alert installed on the rear roof. It was glued and is unremovable without wrecking the roof material. I have previously installed similar systems, but did so without exposed fixtures to keep the system looking OEM. The installation wrecked the finish of my vehicle. The wires to the speaker/alert were visibly exposed. Similar to the blind spot monitor, the wiring and the ECU unit were left loose to rattle around. I was disappointed to find body clips missing, bent and the rear bumper had hairline scratches. This was not at all what I expected from a professional installer. My recommendation is that you stay away from this business. I called & texted Chris multiple times for a refund. He has been unresponsive for a couple of weeks now, after acknowledging that he would think about it at first. I am happy to share pictures of the work and damage.

Went really well.  Had my front pads replaced before going here.  The previous place wouldn't look at my rear drum breaks because they were worried about rust.  I only told the guy that i heard my breaks and wanted him to look at them.  I knew full well the front pads were fine and that the entire back assembly was done in.  He told me what I already knew (so he is honest) and charged me a fair price.  Great place with great people.

Quality of service was always very good.  He was always able to fix the problems.  What we didn't like was that he would do additional work without getting our approval first.
Also, he never seemed to be able to give us a good estimate before doing the work.  Said he actually had to do the work before he'd know the cost.

They're friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed to be able to solve my problems for me which is very important. Their staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have pretty reliable automobiles. If I had any problems, they can take care of them for me. Their price was a little bit expensive.

my car was not starting intermittently after sitting on a hill, I took to Boubin and they looked at it could not find anything major, they recommended a fuel system cleaner so I bought it and ran it through with a tank of gas, I have not had the problem since. I feel really about their integrity because it would have been really easy to take me for a ride and just replaced a whole bunch of things, but they were honest AND solved the issue!

They did a fine job with the repair on my Accord - I have no problem with that. My issue is with the older loaner car they gave me to use in the meantime. This was a perfect sales opportunity for them to give me new Accord to use for a day or two and get me hooked on that. It was not a nice car and I was not comfortable driving it around. It did not feel clean to me at all.

I drove my car up, the attendant asked my which of the washes I wanted, and I got that wash. I would like it if they also offered an option where they'd also vacuum and clean the interior of your car as well. That would be great.

I spent almost 2 hours waiting for an oil change. the people at the counter were slow and rude. after all this the mechanics couldn't get the oil filter off. they are the ones that put it on!! It looked to me like they were sitting around talking. the mechanic told me to come back when I had more time. more than 2 hours? especially when I called to be sure they weren't busy before coming. I would never use again. the dealership had no trouble changing the oil.

    All Seasons Automotive
We did not have a good experience with All Seasons Auto. Our car would not start, and it was towed to All Seasons to check the battery and diagnosis. We received a quote for a new battery up front and said that was fine to replace if needed. We were called later that day stating they found the problem, and that they had made a repair and the care was ready. When picking up the car we were told the battery was checked and okay, but that there was a problem with the key cylinder/starter mechanism (something electronic with the key). The part was replaced for a cost of $300. We weren't happy about a $300 repair, especially since we did not get a call to confirm the cost was okay before completing. But the car started and ran, so we accepted and left.
Two mornings later, the car once again did not start. We jump started this time, and I took to two different places to have the battery checked. Both places verified the the battery was bad, and needed to be replaced. We replaced the battery and have had no issues since.
All Seasons either did not properly check the battery, or did not check at all. We won't know for sure if the battery was the only real issue, or if the key cylinder really did also need to be replaced. However, given that All Seasons did not start by checking and replacing the battery, and instead proceeded to make a $300 repair without checking on the cost first, we don't feel we were dealt with in an honest way.
Prior to this instance, we had taken our car in for routine maintenance without issue, but given this experience with a repair job we will not be returning.

    Toyota-Scion Of Iowa City
We have used Toyota of Iowa City for all maintenance on the vehicle we purchased there 6 years ago. Overall they are a good, clean, shop with professional staff. The staff do a good job of explaining all work and answering questions - before the work is completed. This is a big plus for us, as we have used other auto shops who just do some work without confirming its okay first, and and presenting you a bill after.
The service rates at Toyota Iowa City are on the high side, but that is typical for dealer service and worth it to us for the good service provided.
