APremier Construction ServicesIn February 2013 we hired Premier Construction to undertake an extensive building project which included an addition to our house that doubled the existing square footage, a remodel of the existing space, and the construction of a detached garage. Also included in the project were a rear deck, a front covered deck, and a patio just off the newly constructed walk-out. Our building project with Adam and Premier Construction was definitely a collaborative effort and the design options Adam presented to us always reflected our wishes and preferences. As the project advanced, there were change orders at our request which Adam took in stride with his characteristic can-do cheerfulness. Adam never sees a problem that can't be fixed or a challenge that can't be met and he possesses a great aesthetic sense as well as an impressive amount of knowledge and experience in the construction business. The end result, which we are now enjoying, is a seamlessly executed addition which has all the features we most desired. The quality of workmanship in the addition surpasses that of the original dwelling, a credit to Adam and the first-rate team of employees and sub-contractors associated with Premier Construction. We have no plans for further improvements...but...if we ever decide to build a party shed, we'll call Adam.- james b.

APremier Construction ServicesWe were referred to Adam by our daughter. We just purchased a home and were having work done prior to moving in. We knew we wanted a sun room but we were not sure about the details. Adam met with us and walked us through all the different styles of sun rooms his company has completed and gave us some great ideas. His website was really helpful in viewing some of their past projects. We were on a strict deadline to get moved into the house and Adam met and exceeded all deadlines, his crew completed the entire sun room in less than a week! Adam recommended a stone accent wall in the room to match the rest of the house and we love it! We are very pleased with our sun room and Adam was great to work with - he knows his products and helped us with design as well. AAddition DoctorsThe new Addition came together beautifully. We were very happy with the high quality products used and the quality workmanship. We receive nothing but raves when others see the finished work. The addition started in the fall of 2012 with tearing off the old original porch. Then they dug down for the footing and put a crawl space under the addition because of the plumbing for the bathroom. In the process of doing this plumbing they also added plumbing lines to the upstairs for a future bathroom up there. Also in the process of doing the tear off and exposing the house they took precautions to keep the house protected from the weather. Even though the project lasted overall around 8 months, they kept the main house protected and we were removed from the mess most of the time. Even as the barriers came down because we were in the finishing stages, it was very manageable to live in the house all the time. The over all design on the outside and the trim on the inside matched and complimented the house design very well. The addition ended up with a vaulted ceiling, with a very cool ceiling paint job that instead of stopping the ceiling paint line right at the corner of the wall and ceiling they brought the paint line down about 1/2" onto the wall. It might not sound like much but almost everybody notices that little detail and they go "WOW I really like how they did that" (that was a bonus they did they did without charging extra even though the process was more involved to do it) The bathroom ended up with a 4' walk in shower stool and vanity. It was done with handicap features in mind for down the road if we need it. Then we had hardwood flooring put down. Quite a few windows - Andersen Windows and custom made trim to match the origonal trim in the house. It was not an easy addition to do but now that it's done we use it all the time and we love it. If I had more money I would have them back to do my kitchen - that's next!- Kathy N.

AEicher Design Build LLCThey came to the house and removed everything from the screened in porch. They removed all of the material down to the deck boards. They constructed the walls and roof and matched to my home better then the previous porch. They got it enclosed quickly so that they could finish the interior. They consulted me with any questions or concerns on my preferences. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of my property. AOpie's Construction & RoofingHe poured the footing for the addition, framed the enclosure, and roofed it. He did not do the interior finish carpentry work - I have someone else doing that. He worked closely with the city code inspector, and satisfied all local requirements. He did all this in 8 working days. This project was a very pleasant experience for us.- Don B.

AJarnagin Construction & Handyman ServiceThe service arrived promptly at the hour agreed upon and quoted my bathroom. I didn't need anything fancy and the service quoted the job at a much lower amount than their competitors. I contacted other people who had hired them and they gave glowing reviews. I hired them and work started at the agreed upon date and time. The service was meticulously clean and they finished the job earlier than expected. They even came in under my budgeted amount. I cannot thank these gentlemen enough for the hard work they put in and I will definitely be telling my friends about their service.- Neal J.

DSCREENBUILDERSConstruction was supposed to begin in July and was to be completed in 2-3 weeks. It wasn't completed until early November. Communication by the company was unreliable. The project dragged on and on with excuse after excuse for why it couldn't be completed. The laundry closet ended up being almost too small for the washer and dryer owing to poor measurement during the design phase. I helped them find an unconventional solution for attaching folding doors. We were planning to install a new stamped concrete deck when construction was completed, but ScreenBuilders dragged the project out so long it was too late to pour concrete. Our yard was a mud hole this spring as a result. It was our fault that we didn't insert a deadline clause in the contract. Such a clause is necessary when working with this company. As to the quality of the work, we have no complaints. The carpenters and laborers who work for the company are talented and hard working. We have no complaints with them. The management, on the other hand, is not to be trusted. I will never use Screenbuilders again and do not recommend the company to anyone else. If anyone uses this company, insert a deadline clause in the contract!- Robert B.

FBarker Constructionmr barker, at first gave a very convincing spiel about how much work would be done and at what cost even writing a contract detailing the payment plan we had agreed upon and when the work to build a 6 ft privacy fence as well as other jobs along the way as well as offering references and addresses where he had completed other jobs in the area so i could see his work, the whole time he was planning a con that he had (after the fact i found out) completed several times before. ultimately after enough time and many excuses later i filed to sue for recoupment of the almost 2000 dollars he had received with gladly being able to get back all of it by way of freezing his bank account only to be awarded half due to the law that states i cannot take all that was in the account leaving him with nothing yet this law does not take into account the debts and out of pocket cost i have incurred through this process, never the less i was duped by this man that makes his living off of coning people out of their hard earned money while he lives up the lap of luxury. DO NOT hire this man- corey d.

ANate and his crew were awesome. They had some of the summer's worst heat, rain, etc and they still appeared each and everyday on time and ready to work. We've had so many people tell us how fantastic the house looks. They fixed problems that we didn't even realize were problems (like a hornets nest under an overhang). We would definitely hire them again, and in fact are already planning what we would like to have done next. Never did they ask for payment up front, not even a deposit. That's just not heard of these days. The office staff, specifically Liz, was there to walk us through all the different financing options available, and was a true pleasure to work with. We went with a higher end product versus vinyl siding, we cannot get over the difference it has made in our gas and electric bill as well as how quiet our home is now. Again, we would highly recommend them.

AExcellent job! They tore off the old shingles and put on new ones along with all the required underlayments. They also repaired a couple of areas that were leaking. They completed the job all with in one day and it looks beautiful!! They even put sheets over my plants around the house so nothing would fall in them!! Awesome!! When they completed shingling the roof they went around the house and picked up all the trash and nails. After they left the only evidence that anyone was there was the fact that we had a new roof!!
