  • They determined that the diagnostics couldn't be run until they put in a new encoder motor, because it wasn't registering on their equipment. They were very fair about it. They said they if the motor wasn't the root cause, they wouldn't charge me for it. Ultimately it was the motor and a switch. Overall I'm very happy with how fast they were, and how much they communicated with me. The only issue I have is, in my case, the cost for the replacement of these two parts seem very high. In researching the issue, prior to taking it in, I found replacement parts for around $200-$300. So I think the cost to replace those two parts should have been cheaper. If the invoice broke it down more, I would be more inclined to accept it.

  • This is my second car, I think they've been car dealer of the year. I just think they've done an excellent job. They go out of their way to explain everything. They really do great. they meet you out front. They never seem to be in a hurry to get away from you. They will stay there and answer all your questions, never seem in a rush. They showed me how to use all my equipment. I will continue to use them.

  • They've probably got the repair service and they've got the sales.  They're very reliable, honest, courteous, and helpful.  I'm a widow so I'm always looking for somebody to take advantage of that, but I'm very pleased with their service.  For price, I would say an A because they're very fair.  I'd give them an A all the way around.  They were excellent to work with.

  • There was no charge for the service as it is included in the warranty of my car. They give me a complete run down of everything that was inspected in my car verbally and written. The workers are great.

  • They're better than some places. The salesman was fairly low key, not too pushy. They didn't really want to negotiate too much, but I guess it was a pretty fair price. It's a more calm place to buy a car.

  • Everything thing worked out fine with them. They did a very satisfactory job. For responsiveness, there is room for improvement but it was still very good. They were not communicative about the time frame, like how long the time frame would be for the process. While their website is very good and quickly communicative, they are not quite as good. They don't convey as much information without it being dragged out of them.

  • I had a sidewall bubble in one of front tires from hitting a pothole.  Klein's was able to accommodate me the same day on a holiday weekend.  They ordered the tires and got them replaced within a couple of hours.  And they asked me to return after a week to ensure the lug nuts were still tightened.

  • During the years I was caring for my mother I worked with the Dubuque Iowa Toyota Dealership because that was closer to her home. When I was caring for her, I could just run in there while I was at my mother. They definitely also always got an A. Also, I was very satisfied. At one time, just after I got the Toyota Prius, I hit a dead back lane in the highway. On the other state coming home, I was looking for the tornado they said was coming right at me and looked out and I must get back on the road and this warned me like when I turned out, I had a tire that must have been punctured with a screw from this piece of metal that went into the flash. They got on it immediately so I that I could travel back to Michigan without delay. When I called them, they worked me right in.

  • We have been taking our cars to Albert Auto on J Street for years. I only have positive results with them. Knowledgeable and friendly people. Oil change, as usual, was fine. No dripping oil or messes when they were done, unlike nearly every other shop in town.  There's something about our car that traps oil underneath during the filter change and Albert Auto is about the only shop that will make sure it's clean when they do the oil change so there's no oil dripping on the driveway for a week afterwards. The A/C works fine now. They found the source of a new oil leak and it was the rear main seal. It would be a huge job to fix so they recommended an additive to stop the leak that they've had good success with. Hooray!!! It worked for us. I know in the future we'll have to bite the bullet, but for the time we're not leaking. They are our shop of choice.
