    Smart Honda
    I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Smart Honda in early November 2013. Within one week I had it back to the dealer to investigate a grinding noise upon startup. To make a long story short the part wasn���t in stock and it took two weeks to fix the car. Driving home from the dealership another problem developed; part wasn���t in stock and it took a week to fix the car. Door seals also began falling off. I contacted the salesman to express my displeasure but never heard back. In March I experienced a third major problem, and at this point I was angry. I called the salesman I had initially worked with and he immediately tried to make me feel guilty for being angry and brushed me off to a ���manager��� who of course didn���t answer his phone. I left a message and started calling numbers listed on the website until I got a live person. This man also tried to make me feel guilty for being irritated. When that tactic didn���t work the next line I started getting, from both service people and sales people, was ���Why do you think any of this is our problem? We just sell the cars, we don���t build them.��� I will confess, this argument left me dumbfounded. They sell the cars: why wouldn't they be responsible for the product they sell?
    In the end I was promised an extension of warranty but when it came it was not what had been represented in extensive conversation with two sales managers. I would not recommend dealing with Smart Honda. If you have a problem with the car they will tell you that it���s not their fault since they didn���t build it.

    Westside Auto Pros
    We had problems with out Jeep for a couple months and finally it wouldn't start at all.  I called a couple places that I found here and nobody could get it in for several days.  I called Westside Auto Pros and they said the same thing.  In the end I decided to let them arranged to have it towed to their shop and just hoped they would have an opening to get to it sooner.  The next morning I had a call from the tech and they had already found the problem.  They gave me a quote on the fix and I authorized it and we had the Jeep back that day.

    This is the part where I have a small problem.  The quote did not include the diagnostic charge so my final bill was about $50 above what I thought.  However I believe both of us share equal blame here.  I knew there was a diagnostic charge and just assumed it was included in the quote.  I did not ask what the total bill would be.  At the same time I believe the shop should have volunteered that information so there were no surprises.

    Overall they were very helpful and quick.  I don't think they are going to be any cheaper then elsewhere but I would use them again if needed.
