    Metropolitan Plumbing Company
I've had Ron complete several projects for me in my home over the past couple of years, including: new toilet install in basement, busted pipe that attaches to outside hose, sink/vanity install, water heater install and a bathtub waste overflow drain replacement. I've spent well over $2000 with him. It was his last visit that prompted me to write this review, and also take note of some of things I overlooked during previous work. During his last visit, he was to replace the bathtub drain plumbing. Was quoted $250. During the visit, he called to tell me my tub was corroded and he wasn't sure if the fix was going to hold. Complained about previous workmanship. Said to call him if it leaked after he was done. The next day, it was leaking worse than before he "fixed" it. I called him and he said I'd likely have to get a new bathtub. Then, said he'd "call a guy" who knew how to do fiberglass repair, though he could not verify if my tub was cast iron or fiberglass. A day or so later, he said he wanted to come out and take a look at it again and try another fix. I assumed there would be no charge, or a nominal one, since at this point, he's fixing/replacing *his* mistake. If I had known his 2nd attempt would cost me $300, I'd never have let him back in my house. I was shocked when he said my new total would be $550. How the 2nd attempt to fix was more than the first one, I'll never know. Once I had finally calmed down, I came home from work to find an absolute MESS in my basement. There was water everywhere, brown wood dust splattered all over the walls, toilet and floor. Pieces of epoxy, caulk, rubber bits on the floor. Two rugs were soaked. The water left behind caused my floor paint to come up. And to top it all off, there was epoxy on a scarf that was nowhere near where he was working. I don't know if he thought it was a shop towel or what! I spent over two hours cleaning up his mess and re-painting the floor. The scarf had to be thrown out. It was during this last fiasco that I remembered a few other details from previous jobs. When he replaced the water heater, the water main knob wasn't tightened all the way after he turned it back on and it leaked and soaked one of my rugs. When he did the sink and vanity install, it also leaked after he was done and had to come back out and tighten/adjust. And when he did the basement toilet install, I was also left with quite a mess. I also was frustrated that during our water heater install, he said that if we got our own water heater from Lowe's/Home Depot, he could not guarantee the work. We had found a much cheaper water heater that would have suited our needs, but I felt pressured to let him pick out one since he said if there were any problems down the line, he'd have to charge me to come out and fix it. I feel like someone who's been in the plumbing business 35 years should be confident enough in their work that the water heater brand should not matter. See attached photos for mess that was left behind after tub drain was replaced 06/2019. Needless to say, I'm done.

    InTuition Painting
it went well! Brian and his team painted several rooms in my home with a short deadline of 3 days. They were receptive to feedback and our participation in the creative process, often making improvements as needed. His communication about the project was fantastic and understood our goals for the house.

    InTuition Painting
Brian was able to get the project completed in a very short window of time. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. I felt as though I had been a friend of Brian's forever and the entire experience reminded me of how business was handled before everything was computerized! I feel like Brian TRULY cared about the project and wanted to make sure I was 100% happy! I have recommended InTuition Painting to several friends and family members and I will continue to recommend this painting business!

    Good Guy Gary
Gary is very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. He was able to troubleshoot my problem based on a telephone conversation (which he then verified once onsite). Able to repair the dryer in less than 30 minutes. Great guy! Would use again.

    Padilla Roofing and Siding Contracting
And when they came out, they informed me that I also have hale damage on my siding as well. They said it would only take 3 to 5 days but it took them 2 1/2 months. And they had to come back to complete the work. I had to keep calling back and the crew either didn't know what they were doing or they simply not care. They moved my mailbox without asking me. The job is done now and it looks good.

    Squirrels Tree Care
Jon drove down my driveway by mistake, not a problem until he backed his dually snow plow truck over the snow banks along my clean, bare to the pavement, dry, driveway. Now it is unsafe for news paper delivery person, my family and other customers. I told Jon about this and he just drove away. I realize he was looking for my neighbor and people, make mistakes, but responsible people fix mistakes as best they can after they make them. Less

    Carpetland USA
I got good suggestions for colors that would be pleasing. The price was competitive. They communicated well. In a few places I wasn't pleased with the installer's work, and they quickly corrected the problems. I've carpeted four rental properties since 2015 with Carpetland.

    Green Valley Roofing Siding Windows
First, we had a very difficult job that most wouldn't take on because we had an old stucco home and we wanted siding and windows and a lot of prep work was needed before siding could even get put on. That's what we were very thoroughly told before we signed with them and what we saw once the project began. We also threw a curve ball at them when we added two doors after signing, but they accommodated and we were very happy we added them to the project. What most impressed me was the cost they gave us didn't change once the project was complete, I have to tell you I was worried about that, but we were reassured the price we were given is what the price will be at the end of the project. The installers were very professional and courteous and mindful of walkways we use in keeping stuff out of the way. At the end they did a walk around to make sure we were happy with everything and we VERY happy. We love our new home! Well looks like a new home to us.
