    Perfect Stitches
    Both machines work great now. One hadn���t been used in 20 years and Dick said that if he couldn���t get it to sew, he wouldn���t charge me. It sews beautifully now. I appreciated the fact that Dick called me to tell me the cost of the new needle-threader before he ordered and installed it. The only reason that I rated the quality as good instead of excellent was that one machine���s light bulb was burnt out and it wasn���t replaced or mentioned to me that it needed replacing. I have since replaced it myself, although it took a lot of time for my husband and I to figure out how to get the case back onto the machine after replacing it. I will definitely recommend Dick to other quilters who need sewing machine repair and service.

    Campus Fortress staff were confused about the rates for a 10x30 climate controlled unit.  I was intially quoted the rate for the non-climate controlled.  I brought it to the representative's attention that the rate seemed low and the 2nd quote was a bit higher, but when I asked how much the actual monthly cost was the representative did not know.  She spoke w/ someone else off the phone, then came back with revised rates.  I was not pleased that the rates were different from the website, the lease application, and now on the phone.  As I thought about it, I decided that the company was not very professional.  I chided the representative a bit about the varying rates, but she appeared to be an inexperienced staff person.  She told me her supervisor apologized for the different rates. I told her that I would be looking at other companies and to cancel the unit.  I was surprised to see that my credit card was charged the next day.  I asked for a full refund, but the company has declined to process.  They insist that I am liable for the prorated fees for January even though I cancelled the agreement before I hung up the phone and have not used the storage unit.  I have contacted them 3 times for a full refund and have reported them to the Iowa Better Business Bureau.
    UPDATE:  January 2015 - The company refunded my payment to my credit card.

    We had signed a  3 yr contract for a 10 plex with a set price in Ames Iowa. 1 year into our contract they increased our price and did so multiple times thru out the contract. We disputed this and they informed us that we were considered a commercial property and in the fine print these buildings are exempt so that price was not honored. After putting up with the awful price hikes for 3 years we decided to discontinue this service. Our 3 year contract was well expired.  I began notifying them in April of 2014 that I wanted to disconnect service the end of July. I enclosed messages with the bill and check I mailed in. I did this thru July 15th bill just to remind them to stop service on July 30th 2014. I also called the billing department in regards to discontinuing service the end of July and received a confirmed email from them in regards to yes they would take care of it ( I wanted something in writing). I also requested our contact person for Ames Iowa and they would not give us that information. August rolls around and we are reciving bills with default payment threats and late fees, etc. We once again called the billing department in regards to this, and scanned in and emailed the copies of the notices I sent them and the confirmed email from their company honoring our request. We also went directly to the Ames office to talk to someone and they still would not let us talk to a rep for our area and we were told they can not help us but gave us another number to call which we did. We explained to this person all that had transpired and she said she would take care of this. We emailed her all of our copies of notices, requests, bills with late fees we received, and a copy of the email from their company confirming our request to disconnect. This went on August and September and we are well into October and today guess what I received another incorrect bill. It has know been 6 months since I first made this request!! What does a person do??

    I don't think there is anything I didn't like about them. It's reasonably close and reasonable in price. I have been using the same doctor there for probably six or seven years. You establish a doctor-patient relationship, that's the reason why you go back. I am actually a veterinarian and I know exactly what it takes to keep clients happy or people happy, so I would say the person I go to see is easy to talk to, he listens, and he values my input.

    I received wonderful care and wonderful follow up etc. It is extremely clean and efficient. The nurses are very compassionate and helpful and they explain everything to you. Once they ordered x-rays I never saw the doctor again. The doctor never went over the injury with me which is unusual. I will continue to use the services of this hospital in the future.

    Okay. The waiting was way too long. There was only one other patient in the ER and a bunch of staff hanging out when we went back to a room. Our doctor, Dr. Clewell, was great. She was very calm and understanding with our son who was in a lot of pain. The people were nice, but I really think they could have had us in and out in a quick manner if they had started taking care of us when we first arrived. A 5 minute doctor visit became a hour and a half long ordeal.
