    Very well. They are true professionals. John and Nathan know what they are doing. Always polite and clean up daily. We had a hole in the wall on the bedroom side and John came after hours, on his way home from another job, just to do the hole. I was then able to paint that wall before we had carpet laid. Very accomidating to our needs. They worked us into their busy schedule which allowed us time to perform some of the work ourselves. They were able to finish the work a week ahead of schedule. We are truly satisfified and have had many compliments on the improvements.

    It went great! Thor came when he said and gave us an estimate. It took several days for the work to get done, but the results are beautiful! He put waterproof backer board around the shower and coated it with a waterproof membrane. He did some replastering and texturizing on the rest of the walls. He gave a some good advice and helped us find a plumber.

    Thor is a very neat worker and pays attention to details.  We had a lot of wallpaper to be removed and wanted the popcorn ceilings scraped.  He finished on time and his services were competitively priced.  Highly recommended.

    Nu-Life Cabinets
    Started with an on-time estimate in mid-July.  Sales rep. Raymond Lyon is very professional and knowledgeable about the many details of kitchen cabinet refacing.  He listened to our needs and proposed solutions that we had not thought of, that worked better.
    Cost estimate was provide within a few days.  After obtaining two other quotations, we selected Nu-Life due to their full understanding of the project and its many unique details.  Their price was the highest and their materials were of the best quality (thicker, finish, fit).
    Their competitors were unsure of several unique details, however Nu-Life had a solution for every detail.  Their experience with projects of this type were the advantage vs. their competitors, and the reason why we hired Nu-Life.
    Installation began on the promised date and was finished on time.  A door that they manufactured needed a better mounting detail and they manufactured a new door and return in two weeks to install the cabinet door with a perfect fit.  No extra charges.
    The new cabinet doors are of superior quality for fit, finish and workmanship, true cabinet doors.  The refacing materials are 0.25 inches thick and are twice the thickness of their competitors.  Their two installers were knowledgeable, very professional and polite.  They worked quickly and accurately while keeping the dust to a minimum.
    Without any reservations I would highly recommend Nu-Life Cabinets to any homeowner that is seriously considering cabinet refacing vs. a new kitchen.  We priced a new kitchen and it was over double the cost of refacing with Nu-Life.  They worked to make every detail perfect to our complete satisfaction.  I would hire them again.

    I like the quality of the work done by this provider. The provider came quickly for this.
    The provider is skillful and did a better job on fixing the leaking shower knob than two other providers that quoted me a much higher price and much work involved like cutting into my dry wall.
    However, we did not discuss about the pricing up front for the cost to search for a place to put a water shutoff valve.
    It took a over an hour. It was not clear to me how much was for the change of fixing the shower knob and how much was for the other things.

    Iowa Custom Murphy Beds
    We have had nothing but problems with them and it?s been an absolutely horrible experience! They are personally nice to talk to but horrible when it comes to the business aspect. They kept pushing back the time line. We met with them the first of October and told them we were finishing our basement. They told us they could come out to measure even though we were just as the studs. They came out and suddenly said they couldn?t measure due to the basement being at the studs. I explained we needed to have the bed done for Thanksgiving as we were having family coming. Around the beginning of November, they told us the cabinet maker changed but we were the first person on their list to do the work and assured they would get it done by Thanksgiving. Later, they stated there were people on the list being tended to before us. They always gave us an excuse as to why they couldn't get here. They kept pushing us off and not coming out to measure. I kept asking them how they were going to get it down by Thanksgiving but they kept assuring us they would. The weekbefore Thanksgiving, I explained to them I was having family come to stay and I needed to know if we would have the bed for them but they admitted they wouldn?t have it done in time. 

    I talked to her after Thanksgiving and the cabinet maker said he could have it done before Christmas. They agreed they would come the 23rd of December and the cabinet maker was supposed to come to make sure the bed got installed in the right spot so the cabinets were installed properly. However, he never showed up, so when they came to install the bed, they asked me what size cabinets I wanted. I was overwhelmed with the trouble. We had been nice the entire time but they were late, did a terrible job installing it, and even split their wood a couple times. There were places where the veneer was showing through. They also ended up cutting out brand new, expensive carpet. 

    When they left, they gave me a paper to sign stating I was ok with the work. I didn?t have a choice but to sign it because my family was here and I was busy. We called them after the holidays and got the run around about the signed paper. They didn?t seem terribly concerned about making the work right, so we stopped payment on the checks. We scheduled a meeting with them to try and fix the issues so my husband took off work after checking with them that they would be there to meet. The next morning, we got an email stating they were going to come at 1 PM instead of 9 AM so my husband had taken the day off work for no reason. 

    They act like it?s our job to make sure their business practices are ok. She offered a discount for the trouble, but she never honored it. They eventually came back to fix the cabinets. After meeting with a different company, they explained the bed had been placed in the wrong area so we contacted them to move the bed. She told us she would charge us an extra $300 to move the bed. It?s been a horrible experience. They never apologized and somehow they always made it ?our fault?. This isn?t a cheap endeavor and at this point, had I known it was going to be this bad, I wouldn?t have gotten it.

    They were courteous and quick. They were very professional and showed up on time. They even tolerated my dog. I asked them to please knock before they came in so I could make sure the dog wouldn’t escape and they did that! They were great!  I was very pleased that they were willing to come on New Year ’s Eve day as well.

    Iowa Home Consulting
    Iowa Home Consulting did a great job painting the exterior of our home.  We received three bids on the project, and theirs came in lowest.  We've also worked with them on numerous other projects, so the choice was clear.  They did a great job throughout, from replacing rotten trim pieces to preparing the surfaces for paint to applying the paint.  They were open to minor changes and suggestions from me during the job.  The job took a little longer than planned due to very cold temperatures, but when the temperatures were good for painting they arrived early and stayed late to get the job done.
    In sum, it was a great experience, and we are really happy with how the project turned out.  The house looks great.  We will hire them again, and in fact we already have done so.

    It went well.  They did call and tell me they were coming the next day as agreed.  But we had not agreed.  Fortunately our work schedule allowed us to accommodate the last minute install.  When one of the seems in the round corner did not match well, they were prompt in coming back to correct the issue. 
    I would recommend that customers actually go to the store and meet personally with them.  We finally did that and they were very helpful, allowed us to choose our own slab of material, sink, look at the edge shapes for finishing, etc.

    It went very well. They did a nice job. They checked in with the time of regular basis, respond questions, stood behind their work. They had an accident where they broke the window and they stood behind that and got that all fixed. They could happen anyway.
